We would definitely stay here again.
Room was clean and tidy, but nothing exceptional. Take your own hairdryer as theirs are terrible.
A well located hotel, with a great restaurant.
Fantastic stay in Bewleys Ballsbridge, staff friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, rooms very clean complete with everything you need. Will def book and stay again. Well done Bewleys!
Room was big and lounge and restaurant was great. Lovely breakfast, family friendly. Only drawback I found was the lack of toiletries in the bathroom, no shampoo or any luxuries and no shops on the doorstep to stock up. Overall though a lovely hotel for the price.
Comfortable and good value. But somehow lacking the personal touch.
I was impressed with the excellent service and comfort in every aspect of your hotel and would not hesitate to rebook or reccomend you to friends and family.
Stayed 3 nights, good value, nice room, comfortable bed. Lots of public transport near by. Will stay there again.
A very enjoyable stay for a conference. The staff , organisation and food were excellent.
Good hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms. Highly recommended. Only gripe is that I am vegetarian and there was only one choice on the menu and it was something I didn`t particularly like. Second night, menu exactly the same choice. Would expect a hotel of this quality to do better. Had I realised the menu would be the same I could have asked the chef for something different. It is only a small point, but it did detract from an otherwise good weekend.
My first time staying iin Bewleys Ballsbridge and I was generally very pleased. The hotel is very impressive from the outside and not quite so much inside. Having said that the rooms were clean, warm and amlpy sized for us. The rooms were very good value for money. We were a bit disappointed to have to pay 13.95 for breakfast and then queue for it! We even had to make our tea and toast ourselves. By the time we sat to eat our food was cold and we had to ask for it to be heated! Next time we will book the rooma and go get breakfast elsewhere. Other than this we couldnt complain. I will definitely stay there again coz rooms are good and its location is ideal for city centre.
I expected a hotel of this standing to be a little different but it could have been anywhere
Rooms are dated, tired and grubby. Avoid ground floor rooms which look onto a central delivery area which looks like fly tippers visit it regularly - it was also littered with gigarette butts. Delivery trucks will keep you awake in the early hours and if they don`t then the steel cages being wheeled past your window will. Breakfast was poor and the bar restaurant area looked as though it needed a long overdue cleaning. The reception area was fairly grotty and poorly lit and gave the impression of an hotel that had seen better days. This is a shame because the building itself is very impressive and the hotel is very central and located in a beautiful area of Dublin.
About 20% of the rooms backed onto the hotel disco which ended at 1.30 am on saturday morning and 1.00 am sunday morning and it was loud. I wont be going back
This is a clean and well run establishment situated in a lovely old Victorian redbrick building. Staff were always courteous and helpful. My only disappointment was the poor quality of the breakfast ingredients. tatsless cheap pork sausages, dried out tatseless black and white pudding, awful coffee etc etc.
this is the second time we have stay in the last 6 months and we have enjoyed both stays.will be looking out for more deals
In the evening there was food available outside the bar after 11pm , we were not aware of this and eat terrible junk food outside the concert we were at.
We have stayed at Bewleys on a number of occasions & each stay has been a pleasure. Comfortable accomodation - able to cater for familys, breakfast buffet - we were spoilt for choice & friendly staff.
Clean rooms, helpful and pleasant staff, fantastic building, nice bar and restaurant areas, taxi rank outside your door. Everything you could ask for really!
A pleaseant stay with good bar and eating facilities. Very handy for city centre and southern areas of city.
clean,good value,good food,really enjoyed stay,after holiday in canaries cancelled
comfortable room everything you need, lovely meal in the brassiere.
This hotel is excellent, being located outside the city centre but served from there by 3 buses and also the airport, all with frequent services. It takes 45mins to walk from city centre to hotel. Inside the foyer is a wonderful large space and elegant staircase down to the many and versatile eating and drinking areas on ground level. Efficient lifts whisk one upstairs (6 floors) to the well-appointed rooms. These are quiet and very comfortable. The reception staff are helpful, and cleaners and cooks all work to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Very noisy door closures in bedrooms, I was continually disturbed at night with slamming doors of late returnees
Excellent location, nice room, only minutes from Sandymount station, good facilities on site, staff very helpful.
