Excellent breakfast - clean room very well serviced every day- friendly staff - good location especially as the red/green on/off tour bus stop is rght across the road. Like the tea/coffee/kettle in room. Excellent meal in evening - great entertainment in dining room. Would have liked blinds in the bathroom as do not like frosted glass.Bath very small. Overall would definately stay here again.
Stayed here to attend a concert, rooms may need a little bit of a facelift but were very clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. Location is fantastic, would definately stay here again.
Excellent location, very helpful staff and a great atmosphere
Had a pleasant stay-room clean though small. Shower thermostat was broken so couldn`t have shower -water boiling! Also bathroom could do with re grouting! Other than that everything was fine.
Very clean rooms. could perhaps need updating.. 70s look.. stiil very enjoyable stay
The hotel is nice and central, the only issue was the club that ran till 1am practically shaking the floors. The streets are very noisy as well until well after 4am . Probably a great hotel for a stag or hen do but not to be recommended for a relaxing weekend away . The beds were comfortable enough but the room was very warm and stuffy, we could not open the window . All in all for £88 a night I feel you could get better accomodation elsewhere, probably cheaper
Good sized rooms, vey cllean. Helpful staff, great location. First floor odd numbered rooms very noisy (main road) only down side to hotel. Would definitely return
is an excellent hotel for the money, its in a good location, its clean and the staff are friendly. would definately stay there again
The hotel is extremely central to Trinity Hotel, Wax Museum, Dublin Castle and Guinness Storehouse etc. The hotel was clean, tidy, staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The only gripe is that all rooms were noisy/ We booked 4 rooms in total and all were noisy in some shape or form. No fault of the hotel as they are central. Rooms were noisy due to rooms being on the main road, the other rooms (although at the back) is because of the noisy extractor fan which goes on all through the night!!! If you are a deep sleeper, you may sleep through this!
Our stay at The Arlington Temple Bar was fantastic. The reception staff wer friendly as were all the staff. The Irish breakfast was a treat. Our bedroom (suite) was lovely. Very clean and the bed very comfortable. Only downside was because we were at the front of the hotel it was noisy because of the main street. I would definately recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
Excellent location, lovely room and great value for money, definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again.
First time in Dublin, The Arlington Hotel was lovely, the reception staff very friendly and very helpful, we upgraded to the suite which was absolutely fab, fab view of the bustling Temple B ar very comfortable and extremely spacious room, perhaps starting to become a little dated in decor but still very nice and bathroom very clean but tired. Food was great service was good and the live band and dance show in the hotel was fantastic.
clean being the optimum importance.
Very good hotel would stay there again, food and entertainment was top class.
would stay again good location good hotel
This hotel is in an excellent location but the room we had was a bit tired - no bath panel (the tiles had obviously fallen off) and one day our room was not cleaned. However, the one member of staff who was on duty tried her best to get us clean towels and cups. However, overall we were very pleased with it - after all we were on sleeping there and the price was really good!
see haedline!!!!!
stayed 26-28 March, nice hotel, would stay again
WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN YOUR HOTEL- GREAT LOCATION GREAT STAFF ESP. IRINEA IN RECEPTION AND THE TWO BOYS IN THE BAR-COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE-WE WOULD LIKE TO RETURN AGAIN -AND WE WILL TELL OUR FRIENDS ALSO-LOVED OUR BIG ROOM WITH THE BAY WINDOW- NICE CLEAN BED LINEN- ENJOYED THE DANCING-ONE VERY SMALL POINT FOR IMPROVEMENT PERHAPS DOUBLE GLAZING WOULD CUT DOWN THE TRAFFIC NOISE AT NIGHT- GIVE YOU 3 FULL STARS PLUS
Handy for Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, Christ Church, and within walking reasonable walking distance of all city centre sights (Guinness Storehouse only 15-20 mins on foot).
Loved this hotel. Long weekend from thursday to Monday. People lovely, and I would hugely recommend staying there and going to the legends show. Excellent value for money..
Excellent hotel, ideally situated in the centre, facilities excellent, overall we enjoyed my husbands birthday week-end
All in all a good deal for the price (£123 for 3 nights), but the lift was down for a couple of days and it seems to be a chronic problem that will require renovations. Staff was great about retrieving luggage but was difficult for my friend with hip problems to get to the 3rd floor. Hot water in the shower was inconsistent. Otherwise room was comfortable with windows open for fresh air and a radiator to heat the room quickly.
You couldn`t ask for a better location on the Southside! .......It`s all a bit jaded and in need of a good overhaul. Staff were very helpful and friendly but the lift was out of action for entire stay, no net curtains at window which was opposite office block, so no privacy unless you drew the curtains!..... Furnishings were very tired and well used.........All in all,.. average but good price and superb location....I would stay there again but wouldn`t expect too much !
Really great location in the centre of all the night life and shopping area. We also visited the guiness storehouse which was approx 20 min walk. On arrrival to hotel the receptionist was really friendly and informative. The hotel room was quite basic with painted cream walls and modern curtains/bedding, floor was carpeted in green floral, however, everywhere was really clean yet basic. We stayed for two nights in which the cleaner cleaned our room. The hotel has a bar and restaraunt attached to it which was really lively and busy. Overall a nice clean and popular hotel central to everywhere, would use this hotel again. We went for valentines wkend, and really enjoyed ourselves, however, Dublin is really expensive so take loads of money with you!!!
I`m so glad that we didn`t pay the ?29.95 per head for dinner and show, we found alternative eating elsewhere much better, the second night we stayed we did eat in the hotel bar area to watch the live irish dancing of which there were 2 people who danced for around 15 minutes. They also had a guitarist playing in the hotel which was good. The room however was very basic with dodgy tiling on the walls, paint coming off the walls in the bedroom and their version of a double bed was 2 single beds pushed together!! Wasn`t very impressed. However it was centrally located and very near the main temple bar area.
overall the hotel is rather good. only thing I would say is the room was too small, couldn`t get moving around much, it was a twin room.
Rooms reqire updating especially for the price and room was noisy for most of the night due to the traffic on the main road.Food and guinness was both reasonably priced and excellent = would recommend your beef and guinness casserole to anybody!
Hotel room looked nothing like what was shown on the website. Room was very small and dated.
