Fantastic modern hotel where the staff are just truly outstanding. within easy walking distance of most of the main attraction.Quality modern rooms. Would recommend!

Great location, great room.

We have stayed here before. Nice hotel but room was rather small although bed was very soft and comfortable. Breakfast was nothing special and rather bland. As always found the staff were pleasant and helpful.

That hotel is a very nice hotel in a prime location alongside the river. Staff really friendly nice restaurant will definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night, but the hotel offered everything we wanted; central location, good quality rooms and FREE car park. Breakfast was good, not great (how do hotel restaurants manage to turn scrambled egg into an insipid mass of yuk?), the staff were all very friendly. My only real (slight) criticism is the size of the room we had which was small and the bathroom minuscule, still for one night it was just fine. The acid test is would be stay again, and the answer is yes definitely, but I`d want a bigger room if it was for more than one night.

Excellent location on the Bristol waterfront, only a 5 minute walk from the Hippodrome Theatre. and 10-15 minutes walk to the shopping area of Bradmead and Cabot Circus. The beds are so comfortable, with the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Plenty of choice for breakfast and very tasty. Access from each floor to the car park next door was very convenient, we stayed at the weekend and parking was complimentary which was a lovely surprise.

Great location. Was a good looking room lovely and clean. Shower was great. Breakfast good great view from dining room. Our only downside was bed too soft.

Always had a great stay. Staff polite and helpful. Was given a complimentary upgrade. Love over looking the waterfront. Rooms very clean and modern. Hairdryer and iron in rooms which is helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We booked the Bristol Hotel because of it`s situation on the waterfront and we weren`t disappointed.

It is a great spot to stay around the harbour. The room is large with very comfortable bed but bathroom small. Staff very friendly and helpful

Small room with rubbish view onto what they called the courtyard. First of all put us in room that was even smaller and had no bath in the bathroom. We asked to be moved and were no problem but the downside was the view. Room next door were loud talkers and we could hear them from early in the morning.

After booking in to our room, we found a problem with the hand basin in the bathroom, we called reception and reported the problem.A duty manager arrived to try and fix the problem within 5 minutes, without success.5 minutes later we were upgraded to another room without question - an example of great customer service.We had an excellent one night stay at this hotel.

Excellent location on the harbourside close to bars and restaurants. Decor good, staff efficient and helpful. Breakfast very good. Free wifi and parking. If you are a light sleeper ask for a quiet room that faces inwards.

Arrived to be greeted by very friendly staff, offered a room choice, free upgrade and 2 cocktail drinks vouchers to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. The rooms lovely and clean and spacious. A little confused about the room lighting but we worked it out, also didn`t find the tea making facilities until just before check out. We will definitely be back:-) For us at least 5*+

Stayed in many 5* hotels but never a Doyle. Have absolutely no hesitation to recommend the Bristol to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. The room I stayed in was superior and decorated and furnished to a high standard, the bed comfy and clean. What particularly impressed me was the decent 2200w hair dryer, personal ironing board, iron, fan, free safe and superbly appointed hospitality tray. I will definitely be returning next time I visit my daughter at uni. Well done the Bristol, compliments to all the staff.

Our room was cold and we couldn`t find any form of heating.

My wife and I arrived at hotel having booked a standerd double room on line,was upgraded to a delux room with a queen size bed,a lovely suprise, seeing it was Easter wekend.The room was a very good size clean and well laid out with a couple of comfortabie arm chairs and small table and a good coffee machine which was a nice touch.A good size flat screen tv.It was a pleasant room to go back too after exploring a couple of days round Bristol.All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpfull.We pre booked breakfast for the 2 days ,we both had full English which was very nice but could have been a bit hotter.All in all we had a very pleasant stay at The Bristol Hotel and the parking was free,would go back if we visited Bristol agian.

A great hotel near the city centre. Room was comfortable with a good view of the waterfront. Buffet breakfast had plenty to choose from and complimentary car parking was included. All in a very enjoyable stay all be it for one night. Would stay again and would recommend.

Saturday night in Bristol a great hotel offered a room away from the harbour as the pubs on the harbour are noisy. Good breakfast Inc. and added plus car parking was complimentary

Comfortable room, if a little small for two in a standard? double bed with walk-in shower. Staff very helpful (shwoer leak was fixed) and free weekend parking in adjacent NCP. Buffet breakfast was very good and location near all bars & restaurants in harbourside was excellent.

Would definately stay here again - excellent location- free parking was an added bonus - bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in a hotel, and breakfast guaranteed to add the pounds (weight) with extensive choices and reasonable in a lovely setting alongside the river. Can`t wait to find an excuse to visit again.

Room was wonderful, breakfast excellent and with the adjoining car parking made the hotel a good choice for a stay in central Bristol. The staff were most helpful. We will definitely stay again.
