Very close to the Aviva stadium.convenient. homely. Lovely breakfast and home cooking.
Very friendly service, breakfast is nice and hotel is quiet and relaxing 15 mins from town centre and 5 mins from Aviva Stadium. Quality service as ever
Beautiful townhouse, welcoming tea, coffee and cake on arrival (and throughout the stay!!). More than accommodating...and breakfast was define! Look forward to my next stay!
On the 1st July we stayed in the Pembroke Townhouse we were very surprised at the high quality of this hotel. The staff are very friendly the hotel is very clean and easy to get to and the price is surprisingly cheap.
Hotel generally ok (I stay fairly frequently because the hotel keeps a smoking room). However I am always annoyed by two things. 1) The tiny size of the TV (in room 106). Like something from 1956 and so high on the wall I can barely see it. 2) The MOST annoying thing is the lack of kettles (coffee) in the room. Yes yes, I KNOW there`s complimentary coffee in reception, but that`s no use if I wake in the night or just don`t fancy getting dressed to get a coffee. I recently stayed in a guest house nr Limerick, in the middle of nowhere - even they had kettles in the room. I have never once had a satisfactory response to the question "Why no kettles in the rooms?" This could be the only hotel in Britain or Ireland without this facility.
Very comfortable, everything we needed provided, pleasant view from our window, lovely décor and furnishings. Staff were very helpful and genuine, everything clean and also homely. We were originally given a room adjacent to the two smoking rooms but when we asked to have a different one we were quickly moved. We had not been told we were next to the smoking rooms which I think was an oversight - it would have been less pleasant to wake in the morning to a room full of smoke coming in from next door - so probably it would be good to make sure when you book. The room we were moved to did not smell of smoke at all even in the corridor, and in every other way this is the nicest hotel experience I have had. Breakfast was very good with free range eggs and very good coffee.
Great stay and breakfast would come again. Nice staf & rooms
Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dublin.
This hotel/guesthouse is located just a short walk from the city centre of dublin. Room was perfect and breakfast was delicious. A really lovely touch was the complimentary chocolate cake and tea/coffee available at reception. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place and will definitely stay again. Thank you pembroke house

The Hotel has character and has some nice touch`s homemade cake and biscuits. Breakfast varied and top quality most tastes catered for. Only downside was parking cramped and our room was small.
Set in the quiet suburbs of Dublin city we had a great stay in the Pembroke, its friendly staff and comfortable accommodation made our stay excellent.. Super breakfasts to, kept us going all day.Definitely will return next time we visit Dublin.
The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. This hotel is excellent for a one night stay. Very reasonably priced, very clean and in a great location.
Would definitely use again. Friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere. 5 stars to the chap at reception who dealt with a most unpleasant guest in an extremely professional manner. Shame on the brow beating guest to this country who felt he could shout and bully his way through a problem!!
quiet rooms at the back, noisy at front. clean (although sheets not changed in 5 nights), breakfast good. its a 15 minute walk to Grafton street if you keep up a good pace.
Two night stay in April 2012. Lovely room which was very clean tidy on arrival. Breakfast made to order and service was first class. Walking distance from centre and only a stone`s throw from the bus stop. Would definite stay here again.
Slightly disappointed that the room did not live up to the standards shown in photos online, our room was tiny and when you consider bags for 2 people and a 6ft 4 chap...not a lot of room! Otherwise comfortable and warm.
A bit tricky to find at first, but very close to the Titanic Belfast Experience. Fine rooms and meals and very accommodating at the front desk. A very good experience all around.
Only one small issue and that was with the shower we had in our room. Might be just that one though. It didn`t get very warm and whilst we love power showers, it was so powerful it was uncomfortable and made the curtain blast outside the bath and then the water going everywhere would soak the bathroom. I think the water pressure needs looking at to get temperature and less of a painful blast!! Other than that it is a perfect cost and relaxing place to stay in a beautiful elegant building and lovely location.
Great hotel. Good service, quiet location, nice rooms and excellent breakfast. The only down side was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Although there was a communal facility we like to have a cup of tea before we get up and that was`t possible.
Very good would have been excellent if the rooms had been supplied with the means of making tea/coffee/hot chocolate - and not forgetting a supply of shortbread biscuits!
we would definately book again as long as we dont get a room near reception door bangs when coming and going right near our room it should never be used i bet i aint the the first to complain about it and wont be the last staff are great here just didnt get no sleep
I was extremely disappointed that when we booked in at around 14.00 hrs our allocated room was absolutely freezing- we were informed that the heating was timed and certainly the corridors stair well and entrance foyer were all nice and warm!! Fortunately the attendant at reception organized an electric heater for us. Otherwise the room was very clean and bed comfortableThe "larder situation" was an absolute sham, dirty, dark and with great difficulty manoeuvring in such a restricted space- filling the kettle from that sink tap was not easy. I was well aware that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room when I booked but with the 4 star rating, I expected far better and cleaner facilities.Overall our stay with you was most disappointing fortunately it was only two days.
The hotel is not centrally based and this is an advantage as one does not have the central city traffic and noise to deal with. I walked into town and was able to find my way round to all the tourist sights with ease. The room was comfortable well decorated and very clean. Tea/coffee facilities were not available in the rooms but could be provided from the kitchen any time of night or day. The breakfast was excellent, definitely a hotel to return to.
