staff very friendly, hotel in perfect location. Would definatly go back
Lovely large room, and clean. Lovely lunch time meal, and staff very friendly.Good welcome from reception staff, and very helpful with information and assisting to book an evening meal. Good breakfast, but more milk should have been available, due to two people having cereal. Overall very good.
good value, great location, clean room, good breakfast, would stay there again.
enjoyed the two night stay in Edinburgh wished it was for longer. Stayed at the Apex City Hotel which was excellent, very modern clean and warm. Staff was helpful and friendly, hotel was central, will recommend it to friends.
Very Good Location, Helpful Staff, Comfortable Stay Would Stay Again
The food on ofer in the hotel was of a very high standard and reasonabvley priced with generous portions. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were of a high standard with very comfy beds. The provision of dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch. I would definitley recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Very nice hotel in a wonderful location. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel was clean and welcoming but a little too hot for me, otherwise no negative comments.
Excellent location for Old Town and Fringe festival. Cool modern ambience. excellent cheerful service especially at breakfast which was very good value as part of combined room and breakfast deal .
good location , good room , nice
Everything about the hotel was very pleasant, from the welcome at the front desk to the good natured staff in the dining room. The only aspect that might require attention is the heat level in the bedroom. It was very hot a night and did cause some discomfort. But an excellent location and will stay at the Apex City again.
I recently stayed at the Apex city hotel on the evening of 12/5/12. The beds were very comfortable and the room well equiped including a large plasma tv. The service was very good and welcomed to the hotel with a friendly smile and exited with one too. Would recommend staying to others, room cost £98 for the night at short notice so pretty reasonable.
Clean, spacious, friendly, helpful staff, great breakfasts.
Very good hotel- apart from heat of rooms during the night
Good hotel- but the room was boiling hot, and the air con not working. We opened the window at night, but the noise from the street below prevented us sleeping also
Lovely hotel enjoyed our short stay and certainly would book again. We enjoyed the special set menue and a glass of wine which we would again recommend. Theone thing I would say I would have appreciated a chicken dish on the menu.
All the staff were lovely, but the beds were some of the most uncomfortable I`ve ever slept in - really soft and bumpy. And no choice of pillows. The room was way too hot - neither me nor my friend slept very well while we were there because of the beds and the temperature. Housekeeping didn`t restock the tea and coffee properly, and room was dusty in parts. Would not say this was a four star hotel - more like just about a 3 star. I`d previously stayed at the Apex Waterloo Place which is a lovely hotel, so was really disappointed with this one.
