We were well looked after, the restaurant is pleasant and buffet breakfast was good. Our room was let down by a) obscured window onto internal light well and b) very annoying noise from pipes/ fan coil unit which made it impossible to sleep! We were offered an alternative room which was much smaller and overlooked the railway.
we have stayed at the beresford 3 times and have always found it very clean, comfortable, staff very friendly you can always start the day with a good breakfast suitable for all.it has a good bar lounge with friendly staff and close to bus station and train station. We will stay again on our next return to Dublin.
Good central location. Reception staff, very helpful, welcoming and efficient. Hotel clean, comfortable.
Had a problem with hot water or absence of it but once reported staff got it sorted out very promptly. WiFi access limited and non existent in room but otherwise everything else was fine. Restaurant & reception staff were very good in customer services.
Hotel not too far from the main streets of Dublin which are well within walking distance. The hotel was clean and tidy with good decor, bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Only had breakfast in the restaurant, which was good, but did eat in the bar which was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.
Hotel was great for our group of six. The room on the front was cool and bright and the room on the back was a little too warm for three people. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would use this hotel again as it was in a great spot for getting round the city and beyond.
The hotel is very old and shabby looking. The hot water tap didn`t work in the bath so we had to run the shower and I say that term loosely as it wAs a a dribble to fill up the bath. We did tell reception but it wasn`t looked at. Feel very overpriced and would like a portion of the cost back
Staff were great, beds comfy but I just feel the rooms need updating.
Food good, service good, staff good,. However, access and parking attrocious
Lovely hotel, breakfasts were excellent, staff very friendly and helpful - our room and bathroom lovely and spacious.Only criticism - very noisy - air conditioning was not working so had to open the window as it was so warm - every imaginable form of traffic could be heard through the night
Please in room 129 was leaking in the bathroom!
Bit noisy as its by bus station but very comfy bed & the staff are fantastic. Great bar & restaurant. Really reasonably priced drinks
We enjoyed our stay apart from two minor problems, trouble with wifi set up and the coffee at breakfast could be better.
Really reasonable rate, great accommodation and really Central. The staff were helpful and friendly!
I must say this hotel is well located, offers value for money and the restaurant was very affordable with a great waiter who was most helpful. Love your chicken wings and salad...Thanks guys will call again.John from Westport.
the room was clean and the hotel staff friendly and helpful, however I had asked for a quiet room as my wife was recovering from an illness.. They gave us a room facing the Main Bus Station and the noise from busses and Trams was unbearable..NEVER GOT ONE WINK OF SLEEP.. DONT THINK I WILL BE BACK.
Nice rooms, close to nightlife. Would definitely stay again
Excellent location just near the bus station. Long distance buses and the airport buses go from this main bus station. Own bar with friendly staff and a good atmosphere where you can also order food. Very friendly hotel staff and the room was comfortable and clean..
we enjoyrd our we enjoyed our stay at the Beresford, The reception staff were very helpful especially the night reception staff.. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of choice for the breakfast buffet the only problem was the noise of the trams and the buses as it is directly opposite the main bus station and they start early in the morning, but they don`t run through the night so from midnight until early morning is quiet. overall it is a very good hotel.
My 2nd stay at Berrisford and certainly wont be my last. Very helpful and pleasant staff.
When we arrived we were upgraded to a lovely Georgian suite, staff were really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and location were great. Enjoyed our stay.
Staff really nice and very helpful. Lights with no bulbs, cursory cleanliness. Awful bathrooms positively dangerous plumbing! Hot then cold then hot..you know the score and that just from the cold tap.
From the outside we thought we were going i to a dump.once i side we were right ,deco was very pland ,dining room was dark and dingy, and dirty .broken glass on the floor on friday night ,was still there on sat morning. Breakfast was dismall, poor quality, cold ,if wewantec a fried egg ,we had to ask chef.bedroom was not to bad.window didnt open and fumes from paint were bad.back of hotel was a tip with boxes and wastefood laying everywere ,overall 0 out of10
We found the hotel to be very clean, good food, and staff to be polite. Could do with currency exchange in hotel.
Hotel was very clean and staff very nice and helpfull.I asked for a nice room for my sisters 60th birthday. We were give a suite at no extra charge,It was excellent.I would recommend this hotel. We stayed in the georgian side.
Excellent hotel facilities were great and staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and there was a freshness about the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay
Sink blocked on our final morning and a temporary repair just about let us get ready for departure. The hotel was clean which is the main thing but dated. It was fit for our purpose though and for its position, reasonably priced. I would stay again.
The hotel is right beside the bus station which is handy. The hotel is central and a few minutes walk from o` Connell street. A lovely self service breakfast is served with most breakfast tastes catered for.
crap hole
Nice hotel in good location with friendly staff, but car parking awkward and had to remind housekeeping to make up the room.
