The hotel was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Everyone was very accomadating... Helpful with info about getting around... What tours are good... What you should go see. I really enjoyed the area.... It`s so close to everything... Shopping, bus, theatre, nice places to eat, pubs. I also love the look of the place... I loved going to the kitchen for their big Irish breakfast. It`s so cute. Food was always perfect. I would definitely come again...very reasonable as well.
Our room was lovely, the off street parking perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, museums, theater and shopping. Clean, Quiet, what else can you ask for? Did I mention how helpful the ladies at the desk were hen we had a small personal disaster? Splendid.
Fantastic Hotel and service....Room was very clean , and in walking distances to the city centre...My daughter and I loved it... will be going back to this Hotel again
we stay in dublin and have to say the staff was amazing and very helpful especially the young lady that was on the desk...would highly recommend people to stay here..
the room was too hot and only one window opened, which was low level and as we had a ground floor room, we didn`t feel safe in leaving it open!
the hotel is situated just at the top of Conaught Street and is walking distance of the whole city centre and Temple Bar area. The hotel seemed a little old and tired when I first walked in, but quickly accepted that it was quirky. The staff are all charming and nothing is too much problem for them. The bedrooms was a tad small, but spotless and quiet. Breakfast was so good I couldn`t eat again until the evening. Want a nice stay in the centre of Dublin? I couldn`t recommend the place more. Enjoy
Overall a very centrally located Hotel. And excellent value for money!
Decided to book this hotel for a 3 night break after reading recent reviews. And we were not disappointed. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The full Irish breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. The hotel is situated close enough to be able to walk to Temple bar, yet far enough not to be disturbed by the crowds. Croke Park is also within walking distance. Kilmainham gaol, The Guinness Factory and The Whiskey Factory are all short taxi journey`s away and are 3 very worth while places of interest to visit. If we are ever back in Dublin, we wouldn`t hesitate in staying at Hotel St George, again.
We had an amazing weekend this weekend gone and the lovely Receptionist Elaine made us feel very welcomeMany ThanksCatherine and Tony
Great location for shopping or nights out. Hotel noisy..you can hear people moving above all the time. Breakfast average, room average but clean. Overpriced definitely.
The staff at hotel st George could not have been any more helpful and it made my stay very plea sent and delightful. I would not hesitate to to recommend these premises to my friends. The location is very handy and convenient to the centre of Dublin which also makes for a wonderful stay.
I`ve only rated this hotel `GOOD` as, at first, we were allocated a room at the front and had little sleep because of the noise from the street that continued into the early hours of the morning. However, with no fuss, the reception staff moved us to a rear room for the rest of our stay. Both rooms were clean and well equipped. The wifi was intermittent in our room, but available all the time in the lounge area. The breakfast was excellent with food to suit everyone`s diet. We would stay there again, - but ask for a rear room from the outset.
On my arrival I found the hotel to be very well sign posted, the front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room I stayed in was very small, but as I was on my own it was ok,very clean & tidy. As for breakfast I was very satisfied by what was on offer.Location was ideally situated for the many shops, bars & restaurants.Very enjoyable stay.
Would not stay here again.
