The staff were very friendly and helpfull
Lovely place to stay. Small rooms to be fair but then you only sleep in them.
The staff were first class, and the food and service were very good but the room was to small, noisy, bed uncomfortable and the see through shower and toilet was the final straw. We were told we had been upgraded to a room with a window, thank god.
Poor - really disapointed, as i have stayed at the hotel before and felt it was outstanding. I also booked my room for £40 , but was told this was just to reserve the room. I was then charged extra.
Great, friendly , helpful staff. Rooms only small but beautifully done out and spotlessly clean. No windows took a bit of getting used to but well worth it. Will definitely be back.
The staff are all very helpful, the room was big enough for our requirements, free glass of wine was a nice touch, will definitely recommend to friends and hopefully will stay again in the future.
So comfortable . Est single room I havever had. Cheese and wine was a such a lovely gesture.staff ciuldnt be more helpful and pleasant.
Bed was really comfy.
I would definitely recommend your hotel. I found everything was thought of for a relaxing stay, and the staff were more than helpful and pleasant. Also enjoyed the cheese and wine and breakfast in morning was plentiful and delicious. Thanks, will definitely be back.
Staff were helpful, cheese and wine great idea. Room small but you know that, spotlessly clean and good use of space. Nice contemporary design, comfortable bed.
Great find. Centeral .Good free Wi-Fi. Compact but with everything needed. Cheese and Wine a bonus. Would stay again.Only downer the green fire light is very bright almost too bright.
Good accommodation for a brief stay in Glasgow . The rooms are a bit small but spotlessly clean and well appointed . Central location with easy access to all attractions and eateries .
Very impressed !! Rooms spotless, bed very comfortable, great size of telly !!! Complimentary cheese and wine awesome !!!!! Winter rates very attractive. Definitely plan to return. Staff are very friendly, efficient & professional ! Especially `Osmand` :-)
Ok its a bargain price for a hotel room but you pay in other ways. No windows means air venting system hums away relentlessly and corridor noise from very inconsiderate shouty people returning at all hours meant we could not get continuous sleep. Breakfast (extra) was woeful. Tried but not to be repeated
Would have been excellent if I didn`t have to go down to reception on 3 occasions from the top floor to have my key card reset.
We were bowled over by the personal and always charming service we received during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed a glass of wine and cheese on our first evening all free of charge, quite amazing.
Room a bit small but apart from that all was good. The room was clean and everything worked well. TV was great, food was excellent and service was also excellent. Would recommend this hotel to others.
Wasn`t sure what to expect frim the reviews but this was the perfect stop over for a gig. Shame we had to miss the wine and cheese but the breakfast was pretty good. Free, fast wifi, trendy rooms and great personal service. Small rooms right enough - but very comfortable and worth the money. We will be back.
We stayed at the Z last Saturday as we had a family party in Glasgow. The check in was quick and efficient with friendly staff,we were a bit taken aback by the size of the room and the lack of wardrobes or drawers, but it was just a crash pad for the party.Room was spotless and bed was comfy, although very little privacy if you had blinds open in the room as lift shaft looked straight in. cheese and wine was nice touch.
would have preferred to know the room had no windows
Lovely Hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy hotel and central to everything you need.
Hotel could do with a hand rail at the entrance as the steps are quite steep
Hotel is in a great location, staff gave a friendly welcome, free glass of wine per guest, room was comfy and nicely finished, rooms are small but well laid out. The bathroom section is separated from the bedroom section using frosted glass, but if you are traveling alone or with a long term partner you should let it put you off (maybe not ideal for some new couples or friends though). Oh and we stayed in an internal room so the windows overlooked the central well of the hotel, again for a short stay this wasn`t a problem at all. Overall Great value for money, parked car in NCP car park in the next street which cost £18 for 24hours.
Excellent value
Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel!! Gorgeous, clean and modern. Couldn`t ask for anymore. Gorgeous room with stunning modern amenities. Me and my parnter will definitely be back. Complimentary cheese and wine was such a nice touch also. Staff were upbeat and helpful and couldn`t be anymore welcoming! Think we`ve found our new favourite glasgow City getaway hotel. 5*
Just the missing window was a suprise and would be therefore good to warn the client about this fact.Kind regards,Martina
we spent two nights at the Z hotel. Comfortable, smart rooms, nice ambience about the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and more to the point genuine but I supoose that`s what you get when you visit Glasgow, genuine folk, added to that the complimentary wine and cheese every evening - such a nice touch, will definitely be looking for Z Hotels when on weekends away in the future if this one is anything to go by.
Gorgeous hotel, lovely modern room, free large glass of red wine. Very comfy bed, sky TV (including movies) super bathroomFire alarm tested at 12 noon and 1pm on Saturday afternoon without any prior warning Paid to keep the room for an extra 2 hours, 3 times someone came to the door to find out why I hadn`t left. Shower drain slow clearing which cause water to flow from bathroom into bedroom Staff really friendly although not showing much experience
friendly, trendy, quick to get to and in to. free filter coffee in the morning, just grab the pot and pour. fine free glass of wine and cheese, olives, bread, for a while in the evening. its the second zed i stayed in, previously victoria london. i love the lack of clutter. staff seem to be given that remit to be themselves. the wifi works. my next hotel in glasgow it didn`t an so called four star. zed is a great concept. wish i had thought of it myself !
small but perfectly formed rooms . Great location .The staff could not have been better and the free cheese and wine every night was a fabulous surprise . Would definitely stay here again
Lovely room, comfy bed and clean. Shower was great! Friendly staff, perfect for a night away.
The hotel is brand new and does what it says on the tin.Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is well situated in the city centre with bus and train stations near at hand.
