Friendly staff, clean and warm. Very close to tube station for travelling into London city and lots of restaurants close by.
nice hotel, rooms comfortable but very hot.
Horrible room in the basement with no ventilation. Family room is way to small for 4 people. Also next to the breakfast room so very noisy from 7am onwards. Breakfast room was tiny & very cramped with too many tables.
I would highly recommend the Mayflower hotel to friends wanting to stay in London.
The hotel was nice and clean, but shower fullOf limescale so didn`t work properly, no air conditioning so roomWas so hot, twin rooms were a double bed and bunk beds. Staff not very helpful on reception. Asked for some ice haven`t got any. Asked if we could get another fan or swap rooms could not do either.
As above .. good attention to detail and very welcoming entrance and chill room. Beds were ok but below standard of rest of features. Would def. stay again. Staff very responsive. Overall in terms of location and value for money would say good/excellent
Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Room smelt lovely and very clean. The bed very comfortable had a great nights sleep.
Very nice stay, clean well equipped rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly efficient staff. The hotel is very close to Earls Court tube station, and numerous restaurants.
Pleasant stay. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room very small. Very reasonably priced and very easy to reach other areas from the location. Nice ,peaceful and quiet hotel
Needs some maintenance doing, shower door didn`t fit, tiles & seals bodged with some mould.Hotel cosy, room although small adequate and modern with 4 poster bed
Beds really hard, continental breakfast very limited and boring, very poor 4 star, feels more like a 2*
Poor breakfast room
Enjoyed our stay the staff were very nice and the location was great.
This is my second time of staying at the Mayflower,it`s a very nicely hotel, within distance of all the main attraction.
Lovely helpful staff and nice hotel
Friendly welcome, smart room and enjoyable breakfast. Very close to train line, this didnt bother us but some people msy not like that for noise. Nice area, well placed for getting around just off a High Street
First of all the amount you`re paying the room is a very small we had a twin there is no soundproofing so we hardly got any sleep due to the fact that you could hear everything around you including people swearing in the corridors the bed is Fahad and lumpy any time you asked a question you repeatedly told oh we have no staff till this time and their continental breakfast is basically ham tomatoes and cornflakes Overall very disappointed in our stay I wouldn`t recommend it to anyone. else
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room (number 33) did have some issues. The floor is wooden and is impossible to walk on without it making very loud creaking and cracking sounds, making it impossible to get up in the night without waking up anyone else in the room. Same is said for the bed, it was again impossible to get out of bed/get in bed without more creaking and cracking sounds again waking up anyone else in the room. The mattress on the bed was also exceptionally hard and made for some uncomfortable nights sleep. Walls are very thin and can hear almost everything going on in the adjacent room. And early in the morning (6-7am) there was some form of pump going off in the ceiling, which if you were not awake before due to the floor or the bed then this would certainly wake you up, saves having to set an alarm, but when I`m a week away would be nice for a lay in.
A very small room but clean. Had to walk over the laundry to get to our room after check in. The room had nk bedside cabinets or anywhere to hang z towel in the
Ovation was perfect near the tube. Receptionist was a little abrupt. Rest of staff very friendly and hard working . Parking available but at a cost which I expected in London 128512;128077;127997;127468;127463;
First time staying here.Very clean, modern bedroom.Although a little on the small side the high ceilings made it feel bigger.Service top class.Good choice of breakfast.Great location next to subway and shops.5 minutes to Embankment.Would deffinately stay again.59734;
My daughter and I stayed here for a theatre trip which we turned into a long weekend. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. This boutique hotel was beautifully decorated and importantly, clean. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was cleaned and restocked each day. The bedroom was tight on space, but the en suite was huge. The room included complimentary tea and coffee, toiletries and had a TV and hair dryer. Breakfast was continental. The hotel is close to the tube, only a 2 minute walk, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Only 10 minutes or so to get to Covent Garden and the shows. Would certainly stay at The Mayflower again and recommend to others.
Really friendly staff and lovely room with lovely breakfast - thank you
The hotel had a great location. Close to the underground, restaurants and nice area. The communal areas were nice but the room was small and disappointing considering price paid
Staff were excellent and kept our bags after check out while we went sightseeing. Only complaint was regarding woman behind the desk on Wed. night she had a very abrupt manner and the 4 poster bed was missing the top part. Also I originally mentioned it was a special occasion 50th birthday but did not seem to acknowledge with the hotel. Hotel room was very clean, plenty of towels and fantastic fan over the bed. Staff were very friendly and the hotel is very close to Earls Court Station. Try and get a room at the front of the hotel as the trains can be loud at 530am at the back of hotel.
The hotel was very clean and tidy.Room small but adequateSafe difficult to use.......instructions did not match safe.Staff very helpfulBeautiful bathroom..... But bin mashed up and dirtyBreakfast was basic but very tasty
only stayed for the one night, very friendly upon arrival which makes you feel welcome, not the biggest room but more than adequate and all amenities needed in the room as well, maps available on request from reception which was good as it was the first time i had stopped in london, the theater that we were going to was the savoy which was quite a way from the hotel, i think next time i will book a hotel closer to the theater, didnt make it down for the breakfast the next morning as had a few the night before so cant comment on breakfast but the hotel and staff were excellent
Noisy at night in the room. An `expelair` type noise was clicking on and off all night which kept waking us up.
2 minute walk from Earls Court tube. Nice quiet side street. Lots of convenience shops close by. Comfy room and beds. Modern bathroom. Friendly staff - quiet obliging with any requests (iron and board, extra tea, coffee, milk etc - happy to look after luggage pre and post check-in - DONT pay for luggage minding at the train stations - rip-off Britain at its best. Continental breakfast was what you`d expect in a top hotel - all you can eat buffet style and no rush from staff. Would stay again if what I wanted was a comfy base.
No spoons for tea and coffee
Location was excellent and enjoyed the stay. would definitely stay again.
The Hotel was OK. I had chosen it because it was one of the only ones to offer breakfast. I wish I hadn`t bothered. I would say, poor choice of meats and cheese but it was more like no choice (one (nondescript) meat and cheeses slices and brie.
