Very nice luxury hotel, small but beautiful lobby, home to the famous `Polo Bar` for super cocktails & fizz. Twin rooms all in same area and identical, smart, well decorated & a good size. Bathroom fine but not great, Molten Brown accessories helped a lot!! No view from window as inside, but as an overnighter on a `theatre break deal` it was fine. Breakfast was good, service good, clean & well run restaurant. Would return......
Truly amazing hotel with the most friendly Helpful staff, was given a huge superior room, probably the best hotel ive stayed at with a rate to match 3/4* hotel, will be booking this one again.
pleasant staff, made it a night to remember and all at a good price.
great place to stay
really lovely clean rooms - not enormous but we only requested the standard double - perfectly fine for a couple. Very helpful staff and fab breakfast that runs until midday at weekends!
Such friendly, helpful staff!! A wonderful stay, nothing to critise at all. Wonderful value, would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants afforadable luxury.
Well located, nice area, lovely room (not huge!), good service and lovely breakfast.
One pf the best weekends i have had in london Westbury hotel conduit street great central location for shopping threatre etc. 5* service and accommodation. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Will certainly go back.
fantastic staff and really relaxing weekend
No way is this a five star hotel. I was expecting a bit of luxury but didnt get any. The only thing was the bed was lovely and comfortable a part from that may as well stay at a travel lodge and save yourself a few hundred £
We were able to get into our rooms a little after the advertised time but our bags were safely looked after in the meantime allowing us to leave the hotel to do some Christmas shopping!Breakfast on the Saturday morning was a bit of a nightmare due to a kitchen problem but management wrote to us the same day and explained the situation leaving a small box of chocolates in the room, which was a nice and proactive touch. The Maitre D. could not have been more apologetic and ensured we were very well looked after at Sunday breakfast. We are thinking seriously of using this hotel again next year as all staff and the location were excellent.!
having stayed before once more we had a positive experience
Very small Queen room but perfect location so the size doesn`t really matter when you`re only sleeping there!
The staff were always very pleasant and couldn`t do enough to help. I would go back again next time we are in London.
Great location for exploring central London, no need for public transport. Room was small but comfy, bathroom could have been better for a 5 star hotel, staff friendly & helpfull. Breakfast was good but if you want a drink in the bar before dinner you had to book a table and as we hadn`t we couldn`t be accommodated. All in all a good hotel!
We had a nice stay at the hotel and found the location fantastic although as I have said - yes you expect a small room in central London but this was tiny. The bathroom fittings were tired and the room was cold despite turning up the heating control fully. The bar and restaurant service were excellent as was the concierge. Pity about the room because otherwise a great hotel.
Hi,when we were settling our bill we were presented with an amount for 109.00whwn I queried this the receiptionist had to look through a pile of receipts, it transpired the the charges should have been 67.00 we were delayed at least 35 mins to have this rectifiedIt was most annoying and if I didnt have the sense to look at the details I would have had a vast overcharge.
Fabulous shopping weekend! Very central hotel, (on Bond Street!). A lovely traditional English atmosphere with very pleasant cosmopolitan guests of all ages. very helpful reception, concierge & door staff, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast excellent- as many cappuchinos as you like without any fuss. Room spacious and extremely comfortable bed. We had a lovely quiet room this time, on a previous occasion we were woken by a noisy flag flapping in high wind, but dont worry never any traffic noise. My favourite Wesr End hotel , will definitely return.
Delighted to have available a vegetarian breakfast.
to put a long story short: not cheap, but really worth it.
This 5 star hotel would benefit from having tea/coffee facilities in the bedrooms; although we were only in a standard room it was of good quality but not sure if it was 5 start quality!
I enjoyed my stay at the Westbury although if im honest I have stayed in better City Hotels. For a 5 star hotel I thought the bed could have been bigger. I also noticed the toiletries were a little on the miserable side. There was 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 shower gel and 1 set of slippers and bathrobes. Not exactly ideal when there were 2 of us in the one room. Coffee also would have been an added bonus also. Overall not bad.
Very nice stay. Couldn`t be in a better location for the heart of London`s shopping. The only negative comment we have is there was no bottled water in the roomand no kettle for tea. But apart from that, really good.
Lovely hotel fantastic location near west end and bond st shopping highly recommended
I have stayed at the westbury twice now & it has been great both times. Not a bad word to say about my experience, & it`s in such a great central location!
Stayed there for a special occasion and was more than happy with the hotel it`s def a 5* They put complimentary gifts in the room knowing it was a special occasion whilst we stayed over which made it more special for us both. Staff were very effecient and friendly.
Had great 7th floor room overlooking front street, with quote: "a newly refurbished bathroom", which it was.............. apart from show that didn`t work properly. Otherwise very good.
Very good
Got a great deal at the Westbury, stayed for one night last weekend. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Good central location and would definitely use this hotel again!
My husband and I stayed one night for shopping & theatre. The Westbury was a lovely calm oasis to which to return. The staff were helpful and courteous, our room comfortable & quiet, the breakast was delicious with perfect scrambled egg. We would certainly book again.Thank you
We had a fantastic experience at The Westbury - a lovely old fashioned London hotel, well worth the 5 stars. We were upgraded to a Superior Suite at no extra cost, which was amazing - beautifully fitted with a living room and marble bathroom. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast (that was inlcuded) was amazing. A wonderful experience!
