Arrived at hotel reception to find 2 badly stained couches and smelt badly to be given our room which we found at the top of hotel, due to both our health we couldn`t use this room so placed in basement with a room so small we couldn`t swing a cat and to wake up to handyman looking through the window not great as this was a trip for my friend who is getting married soon disappointed didn`t bother with breakfast
The hotel was ideal for what we needed it for, it was close to the theatre and underground station
Clean hotel, friendly staff but 3 flights of stairs with no lift to get to very small room with tiny bathroom was a definate con
The bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. The problem was bathroom, the toilet seat wasn`t fixed on properly so moved as soon as you sat down . The shower screen wasn`t fitted correctly which resulted in a 2 inch gap when you closed the door so water was going everywhere. The plug in the sink didn`t work properly, tried to run a sink of water to wash and it just drained straight through.
Hotel was ok, clean and tidy, room was small but only used to get ready and sleep, breakfast was simple but nice, only down side is no lift and we was on top floor.
The Airways hotel was in walking distance to Victoria station and Apollo theatre. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small but was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. The continental breakfast was basic but fresh and was topped up throughout the morning.
Myself and my 2 daughters shared a triple room, the room was very clean and lovely, bathroom quite small but we were only there for one night, the staff were really nice and helpful, quite good location for Victoria Station and Apollo Theatre. Would definitely stay there again.
For a hotel that is reasonable in price and has a good location, then this is it. I stayed on fourth floor which was interesting. You wouldn`t want to be walking up those stairs after a few drinks. The room was small but ok. The shower was great. It is okay to stay here overnight, but any longer I would not.
Good hotel with very friendly staff. Room was clean with good bed and everything I needed including a great shower. I was on fourth floor and there is no lift but the receptionist carried my bag up and offered me a room on a lower floor next day.
hotel was comfortable and clean great for a short stay in the city
Good hotel clean tidy room small but only stayed one night would stay here again .
In London for two nights. Single room good, breakfast was adequate, staff very friendly and extremely helpful . Maybe a toaster in dining room could be an option so you can do your toast to your taste. Would stay here again.
We picked this hotel because of the proximity to the station and the theatre. We left our bags there and went off to look around London and the chap on reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was fairly basic but had everything required and was clean and comfortable and the shower was very good. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Not the poshest hotel in London but certainly adequate for an overnight stay.
Room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. Shower was lovely and plenty of hot water. Staff were very helpful, hotel was clean throughout. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Great location easy walking distance to show and major tourist sites.
Just what you need to relax at the end of a busy day sight seeing! Attentive and friendly staff! Breakfast basic! Would like to see full english as an added extra! Only down point for me was the shower! Lovely big and clean! But filled up! So had to turn off half way through showering to let the water go down! Otherwise I`d have had a flood!
stayed for one night at hotel in the twin room, very comfortable clean fantastic shower, friendly staff great location only downside was the continental breakfast in the morning do prefer a cooked breakfast, would highly recommend this hotel.
No lift and up 7 flights of steps. Did get assistance with bags when requested.Only one drawer in room and limited hanging space . Had to keep most of clothes in cases.Breakfast room did not have the capacity to accommodate all the guests at busy period.Rooms were clean , perhaps more than one teabag and coffee sachet pp. would have been nice!Splendid location for sight seeing.Probably ideal for younger, fitter guests than for a couple in their sixties!
