Great location, beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, wouldnt hesitate to stay there again , only criticism was 5.50 euro a can of fanta from the mini bar.

Hotel was very modern, clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. it is a pity however a hotel at this level cannot provide a double bed which they promote, instead of two single beds pushed together and made up as one! The en-suite bathroom facility was a very high standard. That aside the location offered great views of both the harbour and the city skyline.

Very professional staff, nothing is too much trouble! Superb rooms and excellent cuisene. Also perfectly situated for exploring Barcelona!

Room wasn`t ready on our arrival at 4pm. Shower leaked and we asked it to be cleaned whilst we were out for the evening, but returned 4 hours later to find it still had not been cleaned. Requested room change and were told to be ready in the morning and we would be moved into another room - returned from a day out to find that our bags had not been moved so had to make another phone call to the reception. Service in the bar was slow and being ignored was not acceptable for a five star. Individually each issue is not a big one but combined makes for a stay that was not worth the money.

Enjoyed six nights stay. We asked for a room with a view and were given sixth floor room with good views of the port and city. Great hotel for anyone interested in watching shipping and the port. The swimming pool and sun terrace were a first class feature for relaxing on a city break. Excellent food served. No complaints of any kind and happy to recomend this hotel.

We had a three night break including a trip to the Camp Nou. The hotel had over-booked our two twin rooms when we arrived and had to upgrade us to Junior Suites. That in itself was fine, but it was disappointing the hotel then disabled our keys without asking us and stubbornly tried to force us to move rooms or pay extra at the end of the second day. It was not our mistake and they should not have tried to inconvenience us further having unpacked and settled. We refused to move and the reception allowed us to stay where we were at no cost after a confrontation. Two cabs did not know where the hotel was, one even took us to the wrong hotel, despite it being in a prominent location adjacent to the World Trade Centre five minutes walk to the city centre and nightlife.Lovely city and very friendly people. I will go again and would consider the hotel again.

The Grand Marina was a beautiful hotel! The staff were very helpful and looked after us the whole weekend. The food was beautiful and well presented with a good selection of choice. The view from the room was breathtaking, especially from our own private terrace! I will definitely be going back to Barcelona and the Grand Marina will be the hotel i choose to stay in!
