the staff were really helpful and accomodating, I would stay there again, the elivator is a little slow

Reasonable hotel, within walking distance of everything, but definitely not worthy of four stars. The room was comfortable, but there were no luxuries. Tea and coffee making facilities would be a welcome addition.

Great location but not good on the comfort side. 2 rooms sampled and both beds very uncomfortable with lumpy pillows. Bad sound-proofing and air conditioning in both rooms not functioning. Very hot rooms and extremely noisy with windows open. Would never go there again. Expensive !

Nothing special - nor nothing horrible - about the hotel. The room was adequate, the bathroom had been recently redone and was ok. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was convenient for the typical tourist activities.

This hotel had a fantastic location for the part of Barcelona we particularly like. The room was small but very nice and had everything we needed including a lovely veiw to the back of the hotel and large windows that could be opened a bit like doors which was lovely. The bed was very hard though and my husband did not sleep too well on it. But other than that, it was great and we would stay there again.

The hotel clearly stated it had air conditioning, we were in a top floor room with one window that only opened about 3" the air conditioning did not work, we were told it only worked in summer, but the temp in the room was about 30 the heating worked okay and was full on when we arrived, the water in the shower went from Very Very hot to freezing cold in seconds. Although good position and staff okay, although unable to help with either water or air conditioning Rooms very small

The pictures on the Laietana Palace website look lovely, in reality the rooms are extremely small and noisy, the breakfast poor and even though we were staying in Dec/ Jan, the room so hot that we were unable to sleep. We were advised that there is no cool air conditioning in the hotel.The only advantage is that the location is good and the staff friendly.

Although we were only in Barcelona for a short time, the staff at the hotel made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel was perfectly located for our needs. Would definitely go back.

Very welcoming staff let down by noisy diy environment three room moves!!

They said it had a bar which it did but wad always shut - rooms were small and for £110.00 per night was overpriced.

Good hotel - staff friendly and helpful, rooms with all necessary amenities. Location - excellent, close to Cathedral and within easy walk of the harbour and beach. Numerous restaurants within walking distance.

Overall, the hotel was clean and very nice. However, there must have been a leak in our bathroom at some point and the bathroom door would not close.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room and breakfast very good, location ideal. We would not hesitate in using this hotel again, or recommending it to anyone.

We were very impressed with the hotel, the staff and service. It was extremely clean and tastefully furnished.

Our stay at this hotel was very good, with a good sized room, that was of a high standard with good decor. The bathroom was lovely, but we got a high powered shower ,but couldn`t use it ,as it wet all the floor.The hotel has a very good location , a short walk to the harbour and surrounded by lot`s of restaurants.The metro is accross the road ,so everywhere is easy to get to. This holiday was very special and Barcelona is the most beautiful city. We definitely will be going again, and hope that when we book the hotel ,we don`t get the (jacuzi) shower.!.

Hotel of a high standard, good decor, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellant serving both hold and cold buffet. The staff were very helpful and friendly ensuring we had a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was on a main street giving easy walking access to habour, old and new part of the city.
