Hotel offered good value and served my family well for a weekend break in Paris. The hotel is well situated for the Eiffel Tower (within a 20 minute walk) and boat trip departure points. Other tourist destinations are easily accessible by Metro from the nearby station (Dupleix).Staff were pleasant and accommodating, without being intrusive.Continental breakfast, included in the price, was simple, but totally in line with expectations.Rooms were clean and tidy, with a new air conditioning unit that would be handy in really hot weather. (The installation of this had caused slight damage to the walls and this detracted from the room`s overall appearance, which was a shame because it appeared to have been freshly decorated). We will have no hesitation in using the hotel again if we get the chance for another trip to Paris.
We found the hotel to be welcoming, it has a friendly atmosphere, it was very clean and well presented, I would definately stay there again and recommend it to everyone
Clean and tidy although a little shabby in need of TLC, staff friendly and 2mins from metro and 10 mins from Eiffel tower.
However we were nicey suprised, the Hotel staff were very friendly, the room was serviced every day, it was clean and very tidy, the staff were very helpful. Located a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel tower and the river cruises, It is in a good location and value for money for shops and general sight seeing. The only set back is there is no kettle in the room,we have to buy a kettle to make ourselves a cup of tea, apart from that the breakfast is great.Have to say a big thank you to all the staff - who made us feel very welcome, very helpful and friendly. I would highly recomended this hotel to anyone.
Me and my partner had a 2 night stay in Paris, the hotel was a really nice stay :)
This is a nice hotel, very handy just near Dupleix metro and short walk from Eiffel Tower. Hotel was simple and basic. Room clean but bin in bathroom had not been emptied and ceiling paint was peeling badly in two spots. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental. Small dining area where staff had difficulty clearing tables. We would stay again as nothing major.
Hotel is nice and clean. However didn`t find staff very welcoming on our arrival or departure. Apart from that met our needs and is very close to metro and good restaurants
Me and my girlfriend stayed here recently, and were a little concerned that the Hotel would not be upto much as it was cheap. However we were nicey suprised, the Hotel staff were very friendly, the room was serviced every day, it was clean and very tidy, the staff were very helpful. Located a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel tower and the river cruises, it`s in a really good place. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
As above. The only complaint was that it wasn`t properly expained that to get their cheap parking rate you have to collect a form from the car park and have it stamped. When we went to get the car on the morning of leaving we didn`t have time to go back and get it done, so had to pay full rate. It`s worth you knowing because I phoned you to ask before we left to see what the arrangements were for parking and was told to ask at the hotel. I speak reasonably good French but I don`t think they explained the procedure at the desk. Other than that it was all fine.
this hotel is wonderful, very clean rooms(3 rooms,we was with friends),warm, nice bathroom, standard of brekfast is like in 4star hotel,is delicious, and coffe just for 2 euro on the reception, mmmmmm, delicious,
Room clean, bathroom clean and modern, staff friendly and helpful, cant see eiffel tower from hotel but it is literally round the corner, and anyway, why pay to see it from the hotel when you can walk to it in 10 mins and look at it all day?????? Great place, would stay again.
The bathroom very small and was in need of updating. It was cleaned but was rusty around the shower doors. The hotel itself was very good and clean. I would go again.
Air conditioning did not work properly and the bar was not stocked or staffed. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly.
Relatively quiet location not far from metro station. Rooms small but adequate & breakfast was normal continental style but more than enough. Clean, small friendly hotel. Would recommend
The hotel is located in a convenient part of Paris with good Metro connections. The room was an acceptable size for Paris. Two lights in the room were out of order and I told reception about this on three separate occasions but nothing was done to fix them. We booked a double room which turned out to be a twin room. The breakfast left something to be desired. Cheese in pre-packed plastic was not very enticing. We were asked to wait ten minutes before being seated, even though it was within the timeframe for breakfast. One stay in the hotel was enough.
The staff were very friendly but the interior seemed abit run down in the rooms- the first room we went in had dirty sheets and towels from the last guests and the next room had leaks from the air conditioning unit they were fixing. Although these issues were quickly rectified by the hotel staff.
Great budget hotel the room was clean warm the shower excellent & the breakfast plenty good enough. Only a short walk to the Eiffel Tower.
was very hot in room
The hotel`s location is extremely convenient. Its a second walk to the nearest Metro station, and from there it is only stops away from the musee D`Orsay, Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, and Invalides. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are small and pokey, smell of stale cigarettes, and lack any distict sense of character. Having said that, the bathroom was very clean, as was the room. The area around the hotel, although near to the main sites, was not itself very pleasant. Drunken, singing tramps, urinating vagrants, and fist fights were all audible and visible from the comforts of our room. Its an ok place to stay if you in Paris for a fun night with your friends, but if you are there for a romantic holiday - forget it, try another hotel.
We have stayed in other 3* Hotels in the centre of Paris and in comparison this hotel lacked cleanliness to the rooms and especially to the bathrooms. Many of the items of furniture were worn and in need of replacing, the walls could have done with a coat of paint too. Breakfast was okay, although the space available was very limited during busy periods. There also seemed to a shortage of staff in the kitchen to keep up with the deamd of the guests. Friendly welcome and helpful reception staff. We would deffinitely be staying in the Eiffel Sienne *** again next time which is only a 5 minute walk away, very clean and luxurious in comparison.
Not in a particularly nice part of town. The so called bar did not serve any beer/lager, only minatures and cans from a vending machine. The breakfast was supposed to be served until 10am but once basic food items had run out (usually before 9am) no more were put out. Everything seemed very below standard - more like a 2* hotel.
Nice & friendly staff, although one was particularly useless and didn`t know his job very well. Our room smelt like cigarettes even though we`d booked a non smoking. The breakfast was ok. Overall though it was a great location with plenty of restaurants & bars around.
the hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The ameneties were of a high quality, bathroom very clean, lovely clean towels and a nice comfortable bed. the breakfast was excellent and the staff vere very helpful.
We booked a twin room. But the room we got was so small that the 2 separate beds were literally lying together!!! ...On opening the window, all you can see in front is a construction site, with dust n mud. But the reception staff was very helpful. They gave us wonderful directions to the major attractions. I wont recommend it! not a value for money!
Room was OK but could do with painting. We were out most of the day and hotel was quiet at night although there was some noise from the street but it didn`t stop me sleeping. Our best meal was from Bistro on corner opposite the metro. My husband has reduced mobility so we used metro for one or two stops back and forward to tower. You must be at the trocadero on the hour at night to see the lighting display.!!
My husband and I really liked the Beaugrenelle. The staff were very friendly, the room was nice and comfortable (my husband suggests that perhaps the bed wasn`t designed for people of over 6 feet tall!). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We would definitely recommend the Beaugrenelle as a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. If we revisit that part of Paris again, we`d be more than happy to stay there.Heidi Topman
Bedroom was on ground floor which only allowed, for security reasons, windows to be open with the exterior blind down: therefore no natural light. Breakfast was very disappointing due to lack of food.
The Beaugrenelle was exactly what we expected, clean with well furnished room and a good breakfast. Ideal for a few days break in Paris, only a 5-10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and about a 40 minute walk to the Champs Elysees, with plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach. We would definately go back to a nice hotel in a great city.
Although not up to its 3 star rating this is a friendly and efficient hotel. Really it is a bit more like a large B&B than a hotel. The rooms were adequate and a minor problem was sorted quickly - leaky shower in one room. It is about 150m from the metro and a 10-15 minute walk from the park below the Eiffel Tower. We walked it at 11pm and did not feel threatened at all. There were many friendly places to eat in the area - we started speaking in our limited French but their English was excellent. Breakfast was as expected - cereal, rolls, h.b eggs, ham, cheese and croissants. The dining room was small and hot but functional. Staff were friendly. We were able to leave baggage at the hotel on the day of checking out - we picked it up at 6pm. As a basic, clean place to stay, this is fine.
lovely hotel in a fabulpus position for all the sights - the Eiffel Tower only 10 mins walk and metro 2 mins away.Basement - for breakfast, smelt very damp so bit off putting, but food really lovely.Hotel a little tired and rooms cosy, but very good by Parisian standards. Would stay again. Many shops and good bars and restaurants near by.
