Naz and staff at this property first class, upon arrival we were upgraded to a one bedroomed deluxe apartment which exceeded our expectations. The only negative was the corridors are rather tired and exterior apartment doors should either be refurbished or replaced. Good value for money in a great location.
We enjoyed our short stay very much, but for a longer stay it would be desirable to have fridges that make ICE and a microwave cooker for light meals. When next coming to stay in London we have every intention of staying at the Curzon Plaza
GOOD SIZE ROOMS, BUT VERY DATED DECOR & COULD DO WITH A PAINT JOB. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN AS REASONABLE PRICE.
Whilst the apartment was nice, and the staff friendly, I am unhappy I was not provded the double bed I paid for, and instead got two single beds pushed together and crudely made, having a double duvet thrown over it. Shoddy!
The location and the price of the hotel was good, the room was reasonably clean but the hotel still needs some work, for example it was very noisy in the room due to the old metal windows, the main door to the room was very old and not very secure. I think with a little investment the hotel could be a lot better.
Bathroom needs grab-rials fitted for the less able & elderly. Shower wants updating. hot water tepid. Bed comfortable, one sheet had a hole in it. TV old square box, poor picture on some channels. In general OK for price and short overnight stay.
This hotel was good for what I wanted which was somewhere to stay over night so I didn`t have a rush home on the last train. There are a few improvements needed, such as the shower was rubbish and I had to hold the shower hear to use it as the water flow was very weak. The room was clean and tidy though and I had everything I needed with polite staff there to assist.
Overall a nice hotel jus dated! Friendly staff clean and cosy! Only real bad point is that the radiator was on full and was no way of turning it off so was boiling!
Very spacious and clean apartment in a pleasant area. A repaint and double glazing would move this to above good. We would definitely use again.
Staff were helpful and friendly if not effusive. The apartment was clean and spacious. It could have been better, but for the price and location I was more than happy.Perhaps you can look to invest in double glazing. For visitors from out of town, the traffic noise was a little disturbing.
Great location, apartments were clean and warm, very spacious would return with the kids
It was `ok` inexpensive and central but very untidyly finished apartment which had seen better days. Quite disappointed:( sorry
Room was a little basic but quite adequate.
very good service. water not that hot in the morning. in need of refurbishment. would stay again and recommend to friends
The apartments were nice, the staff were friendly, shame about not having hot water on the Saturday morning but overall I would stay here again, the plaza is in great position to get other areas really quickly.
Overall the hotel is good value, clean, has a great location and the staff were very friendly. The first night we were put in a room which faced out onto the busy road. With no sound proofing on the windows - it was extremely noisy and we didn`t sleep well. I asked to be moved the next night to a quieter room and the staff were more than happy to help. I was moved to one of the rooms overlooking a courtyard and this was much better.
Very gently staff, clean and comfortable rooms.
I booked three single rooms for myself and work colleagues who were attending a dinner on Park Lane. Having found nothing under £180 per room per night on a trip in December the appeal of £90 a room couple with a location handy for the Picadilly line and the venue was considerable. I hadn`t realised it was an apartment hotel. Two rooms had a double bedroom, large lounge, tiny kitchen with fridge etc and small bathroom, the other two double bedrooms and the other facilities. It was clean if a liitle spartan and plain with wooden rather than carpeted floors. It was a cold day but there were four portable heaters that heated it up. There`s a Tesco Express just up the road and lot of eating places round about. Staff friendly. Television controls baffling despite information sheet.
The hotel is well positione for central London, the tube (Green Park) is a few minutes walk away, there are severl low cost cafes for breakfast nearby, walk toward Berkeley Square.Beware the car parking arrangements, the hotel offers a 25% discount at the nearest NCP car park (Carrington Street) however the discount tickets were out of date and were not accepted by the pay machine at the car park.
When we arrived at our room we found we was linked to next doors room with a door. Next door there was a big group of people who were extremely noisy. I think they were having a party. The room if more like a apartment which I thought was going to be a positive but wasn`t. The room was very basic. Outside my window was a night club that was open until early hours and was also very noisy, cheering, shouting and music. Other than the noise the stay wasn`t too bad. I wouldn`t recommend staying here unless you don`t like to sleep at night.
The sitting room was very bare and uninviting. It would have been better with another sofa and carpet. The overall impression was that the decor and furnishings were old and needed updating. But the bed was comfortable. The corridor was like a nursing home corridor
will be back
Location excellant for shopping, theatre and restaraunts, within walking distance to Regents Street etc. Staff were also very friendly and helpful, the only bad comment is that it is looking very tired and could do with a refurbish.
The flat was very basic like a very clean student flat. The permanent fittings like radiators , bathroom suite etc. were quite old but the bedding was very clean and the front staff very pleasant. It is perfectly situated and very cheap for Mayfair and you can make your own breakfast as there is a tiny kitchen so that makes it even cheaper. I would go there again because of the location and spend my money on good seats for the opera and a show, like we did.
Room was a bit tired, but the hotel is in a great location and the staff are great.
Helpful and friendly staff. Appartments airy and modern. However effect spoilt by many stains and marks on light carpets. Main problem was noise level due to poor fitting windows without any double glazing or sound insulation.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel was very near to an underground station and within walking distance of many sites. The appartment was very spacious and clean. I would recommend anyone visiting London for the first time to stay here.
This place is in a great location. The Plaza is a little tired but kept very clean. It is functional with small kitchen area, crockery, fridge etc so that you can buy and eat in. Freeview TV also and WIFI -Great. I would definately stay here again when visiting London.
It was quite noisy at night but that is the only negative comment I have. Ideal location for a weekend in London.
bathroom was a bit small and the showering area was very small, the shower itself was very powerful, which was nice. The lounge and bedroom were of a goodsize, although we did`t use the kitchen it looked adequate. The Curzon Plaza is well placed for pubs, shops and restuants. The Staff were very efficient, polite and friendly.
Great location, but room looked very tired and in desperate need of decoration. Dirty patches on most of the painted walls. Wooden floors and wooden blinds, with no pictures or trimmings. Think they tried to achieve minimalistic effect, but it was just basic Bathroom and kitchen was very old fashioned. Tried to change room but told nothing else was available. OK if you are looking for an apartment block, rather than a hotel. Would not choose it again, unless other rooms are better.
