Excellent service
Now it is one of my favorite Hotels throughout the world. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All were professional, proficient and helpful in every way.Room was perfect. Traffic noise was non existent - double glazing or soundproofing? Restaurant was great, with excellent menu choices and terrific service.Bar and Restaurant prices were a pleasant surprise. Priced right.
noisy , staff not very interested, location bit out of way or theatres... wouldnt stay there againhad better value for money
Comfortable rooms furnished and decorated to a high standard. Staff helpful and well organised. Very good location for North London Stations.
We had a super size family room with a window that opened thus allowing good ventilation. The room was very clean as was the ensuite. There was a good size sitting area. The only small aggravation was some very noisy locals at 2pm but this was not the hotels fault. Its a fantastic location next to Lords and 10mins walk to Baker Street tube. Food in the restaurant was good and competitively priced. Breakfast was pricey but it always is in London. Staff very friendly and helpful. Did not use the gym though it looked good. Would recommend.
Comfortable room, clean and basic size. The hotel was quite a way from the theatre though and a fair walk to the tube station with luggage!
Fantastic location for Lords cricket ground and wembley stadium just 2 tube stops away. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. 5 minutes walk from St Johns Wood tube station. The bar also had a fantastic atmosphere. Would definetely recommend it.
Very clean hotel, staff were helpful. Locations is good. I would use the South Kensington tube to get to the hotel, Baker St is a bit far. Any bus in Park Rd just outside the hotel will take you down park rd where there are plenty of places to eat. If you don`t like the tube take the No 13 bus to Baker St, then the No 74 to the National History Musuem/Science Musuem - great bus ride !!The hotel should develop it`s menu - not that child friendly -at breakfast the cost was £15.50 for an English, well my 9 year old grandson would never eat that much, the alternative was £12.50 again not that child friendly.Overall I felt that this hotel was great value for money and would use it again
The hotel was in a nice location in ST Johns Wood with easy access to local shops and tube. The rooms were of a high standard, clean and fresh. The only question mark I have is the price. I paid £125 with 20% early booking reduction;however the hotel nightly rate was £86, so I felt a little let down with Hotel Direct prices...that said only myself to blame!!Would still recommend the hotel and would stay there again!!
Very good location. A comfortable stay
Let down by only 1 mug and 1 sachet of hot chocolate and appearance of room service before breakfast!
This was a good hotel I`n a good location, close to underground and right next to cricket field so easy to find. Also near some great restaurants.
The hotel was great, we had a spacious family room, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The full english or continental breakfasts were varied and good quality food and drink. We will definitely stay here again
Very happy with hotel. We had a family room for 3people(18yr old daughter).Clean, spacious and friendly staff. The only issue with staying there would be the walk to and from the tube station but the standard at the hotel made up for that.
Not too good looking from the outside but once inside you r blown away by the beautiful and clean aura of this hotel. All staff very polite and cannot do enough for you. They have an evening carvery which is very reasonable but i found the breakfast a bit costly at £15.50 per head but then again it is London. Overall a very nice hotel would stay there again!
Good price deal given the time of year and other events in London forcing prices significantly upwards. Rooms fine. However, still felt it to be overpriced - maybe it`s a "London thing"?
Absolutely superb hotel, great location and even booking `room only` they give you a discount voucher for breakfast whereby £10 represents very good value for a full English buffet breakfast. It kept us going all day. All of the staff were excellent and attentive and I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!
Generally very happy with this hotel and would certainly stay again. Our room (229) had allegedly been recently refurbished and was fine. Only two minor gripes - the coffee at breakfast was pretty awful - altho the rest of the breakfast was good. On our first morning there was a lot of noise in the corridor outside our room between 6 - 7 am. It sounded like staff taking equipment from a store located near our room - but I didn`t get up to check! (the second morning was fine). Overall tho no hesitation in recommending this hotel
The hotel was in a lovely area and inside was very clean and tidy. Enjoyed our stay although weren`t in the hotel very often as london city centre was so close.
Hotel was very well organised, room was beautifully clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffe making facilities. Breakfast was really nice with lots of choice. Conseige staff were very helpful when arranging transfer to Euston Station and no trouble to leave luggage at the hotel on day of departure whilst spending the day in London. Literally 5 min walk to the Cricket Ground, but about 15 minute walk to St Johns wood Tube Station. Hotel was all you would expect for a relaxing nights sleep and good breakfast, although West end was difficult to get to due to traffic by taxi.
We would certainly choose this hotel again. The room was very clean, and nicely furnished. Staff very helpful. We had trouble finding nearest underground St. Johns Wood but had we had a map it was only about a five minute walk.
A lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and professional but there was lots of noise in corridors from cleaning and housekeeping staff which woke us up early
Big family room, friendly staff, clean and comfortable, next to Lords, expensive drinks, room was good value for money
Hotel was in good location but hardly a `Hidden Gem` as advertised on website ! It was huge !
My friends and I stayed at this hotel for two nights - the room was excellent ,clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. We dined in the hotel on the first night, the food was good and reasonably priced. The location of the hotel was good - 15-20mins to all amenities - all in all excellent stay - would go there again.
Great location in a beautiful part of London - St John`s Wood High Street is great for browsing and for breakfast. Very friendly staff and comfy bar lounge. Good sized rooms.
The hotel was very clean and lovely decor, the staff friendly and efficient. The twin room with extra bed was cosy, and the extra bed was a proper bed. The bathroom was clean and modern. We were very disappointed that the non smoking level that we were on stank of smoke as soon as we stepped out of the lift. Our room also smelt of smoke and due to the hotel being full we were unable to change, however the staff were very apologetic and dealt with my complaint in a very friendly and professional manner, also providing room freshener. I would definately stay there again.
Staff were charming and helpful. The room was clean, fresh, quiet and nicely furnished. The heating was easily controlled but the fan remained on, however it was not a problem for my wife and I. We will go back again.
