A great hotel next to Hyde Park. Hotel had the most extensive breakfast restaurant I have ever seen. Check out time at 12 noon was also a welcome change from the normal 10.30 rush out of the room.Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our room was basic but clean. Would defiantly stay here again.

Hotel Room was not comfortable to sleep in due to constant noise from air conditioning

Breakfast can be manic as it is a big hotel, especially attending after 7.45am, which this stay i decided when I saw how long the queue was going into breakfast not to take it, even having paid for it in our rate. The rooms are clean and well presented, but for the first time in 7/8 stays now at the xxxxx the bracket holding the "trendy" wash basin was rusty and unsightly, which was off outing when washing. Otherwise as always I remain happy with this hotel

Hotel next to Marble Arch underground and opposite Hyde park good central location.

Large stylish hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Given complementary early check in. Spacious room, very comfy bed. Good shower and bath. Excellent well stocked buffet breakfast, very tasty.

Got upgraded to an executive room very comfortable stay

Fantastic location in Central London. The room was nice, clean, quiet and we received a complimentary upgrade to a king size room. The hotel is incredibly busy and we weren`t able to check in early. However the concierge looked after our bag. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, however be prepared to queue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great value from Hotel Direct.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was decent but probably not executive.repair work needed on the woodwork by door in bathroom. Staff were helpful. .Handy for shopping in Oxford street

Stayed here for my birthday with husband, very disappointed with the room, it was the smallest room I`ve ever stayed in and wasn`t expecting that from a 4 plus star. Not luxurious At all- it reminded me of a holiday inn. The location was Perfect for shopping and Hyde park. The breakfast was amazing!

The room we were given was more like a cupboard, the one side of the double bed was butted against the wall, so if you need to get up during the night you have to climb over your partner, there was only one reading/ above the bed light so whoever sleeps nearest the wall would not be able to read, again only one bedside table so if you need water during the night you are stretching or climbing over your partner, I feel this should`ve been a single room and I know this was a discounted price but if I had been informed of this I most certainly would not have booked it. The walls were paper thin and we ended up moving rooms at 4.30 a.m having not slept due to some religious chanting in the next room. The staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good but sound proofing definitely needs addressing

Only good thing was reception staff very friendly room looked basic clean.Breakfast cold towels smell . The lifts were so busy No order what so ever & people pushing & queue.I would give 3 out of 5 grade

Good Location

A nice hotel, perhaps a little dated and in need of some updating, however the breakfast choice and quality was great, and the staff always polite and helpful.

Fantastic location and directions were so clear. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Thank you for the bottle of wine. This was my fiances 50th birthday celebration and the whole experience was truly memorable. I reccommend this hotel and will definately return its in such a great location. Thank you again.

Rooms very basic. For the money we paid the rooms let it down. On a plus side the location is absolutely brilliant everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Breakfast and staff very good.

Allocated a awful dark room which I asked to be moved. On second day locked out due to them not understanding booking. Extremely stressful I asked when I checked in if it was going to be a problem was assured there would be no problem.

We were only there one night, but all good. Staff helpful. Breakfast excellent. As per some of the other reviews the room was quite small, but totally adequate, clean and surprising quiet. The position of the Hotel is ideal, close to the underground and in walking distance of many attractions.

A lovely welcome from friendly and cheerful reception staff made our stay here so pleasant. We were a little early and our room was not ready so we were taken to a lovely lounge for a cup of tea. We were called when our room was ready. The room was small but comfortable. Nice modern facilities and a window looking towards a nearby church. We had a good nights sleep and breakfast in the basement room provided everything you could need for a good start to the day. Particular thanks must go to Loretta on reception who looked after us so well. Grazie Loretta!

Nice location , room modern but exceptionally small, bed very low, two people can`t move about at the sane time very very disappointing .

Public areas look amazing. But there`s nothing in the bedroom to tell you how to work the TV or air conditioning. Finishing touches disappointing such as paint finish in the bedroom and sealant in bathroom. Tap / shower controls difficult to use due to being hard to move and access to bath / shower poor for those who have a very slight mobility difficulty. Choice at breakfast amazing, but plates were cold, hot food had been kept warm for so long it was leathery and very long queue to be seated for breakfast.

Only one surprise for a London room of that category, the mattress I had to sleep on was totally worn out, as if this was a Youth hostel bed of many generations...

Great hotel for central London

The hotel was modern and the facilities were impressive, I would definitely use this hotel again when I`m next in London

Good points-The beds are very comfortable and there are a good choice of breakfast dishes. However, personally I prefer an older hotel with a lot more character. This one was too modern and the breakfast room was a bit like a work canteen. Bedroom was average but painted bright green! Hardly a soothing colour for a bedroom. This hotel is overpriced and needs a proper seating area in the lobby - a massive waste of space. I will not return.
