Clean hotel, excellent shower, lovely large bed but very expensive drinks!

Staff friendly, room standard good, very clean, only downside, new carpets being fitted during our stay but carpets look great and minimal problems only.

A one nigtht stay in a standard double room we did not eat at the hotel. A comfortable double room with a high ceiling made the room airy and light. Very clean and well presented but in need of some TLC re decor. I would stay there again as great location for sightseeing and it had a warm and friendly atmosphere.

I stayed at the Bloomsbury Park just for the one night, I found the hotel very noisy with the traffic outside even though my room was actually down the side of the hotel & not on the main road. We asked the hotel to arrange for a taxi to take us out for the evening which turned out to be the most expensive taxi ride just to take us a mile down the road so I would recommend to get your own. The room was clean & tidy and ticked all the boxes, breakfast was exceptionally good. I would recommend this hotel however it wasn`t cheap!

We were able to store our luggage with the bell captain in a secured room while we went to our shows during the day. The reception was friendly, easily found our reservation, and though could not check us in as it was too early, was friendly and professional. On our return, the evening receptionist was just as friendly and professional, and promptly gave us our key cards, and even offered to help us with our luggage. Our room was just as we wished, a double bed, and quiet corner. The street noises were minimal, even for the second floor. Earplugs also helped. Though buffet breakfast was offered at the restaurant below, we did not take up the offer GRB10 pre-reserved, or GRB15 for adults without reservations. It looked like a rather extensive spread. We would stay again, however, with more advance booking, as our rates were about double what is normal due to the soccer tournament with Barcelona vs UK.

Nice welcome from receptionist and was helpful with tube and street maps. Room was a little bit small as was the bed. Bathroom clean and tidy. But it was what i expected for the price. No more than five minutes walk from tube station.

Rooms a bit dated but clean. Staff very friendly. Location great for Russell Square underground. Lots of eateries nearby. Great range for breakfast and modern clean public areas.

Good location, rooms small but clean and comfortable. Waiting staff `new` but friendly and apologetic. Reception staff efficient and helpful. Breakfast good but items not replenished as they ran out at 9am even though breakfast ran till 11am!

We only needed a one-night stay, but would have been happy to stay longer. This was good value for money in a good location. The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.

bar staff were rude, its seems they were not intreasted with serving thier hotel guests. also poor service on reception when checking out , recarding my complaint i put in the day before, no body seemed intreasted. room was lovely and cleaned dailey , i would consider staying again but take my own wine.

Well placed hotel the room was clean but very small and dull. Tea and coffee not topped up. Kettle not working. Lift out of order no member of staff offered to take bags to the room. 1 member of reception staff was rude to my partner calling him foreign when in fact he was from abroad himself. Would not recommed or stay again myself. Disappointing for a special weekend away.

Overnight stay without breakfast - just fine. Great central location

This was the first time we had stayed at the hotel, and were a little anxious to see why it was so much cheaper than other nearby hotels. We were very plesantly suprised when we arrived, the reception staff were friendly, our room was spacious clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and large TV! The hotel was located close to both Russel Square and Holgate tube stations and in easy walking distance of covent garden and Leicester square. When we checked out, the hotel was happy to hang onto our bags for us until our train time at no extra charge. We would efinitely stay here again

This hotel was fantastic and great value for money. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the double room we stayed in was meticulously clean, comfortable and very spacious. I`d definately go again.

Comfortable and clean also very well placed for the Covant Garden area. Very good value for the online price. Would be happy to stop agian. As is our usual practice we didn`t have the very expensive breakfast, especially as there was a nearby cafe at 1/3rd the price!

Room 13 was a bit small, but this was not a major issue as we booked last minute. Bar and decor was very nice, would probably stay again

Poor Breakfast options. Some items like kippers and fish are an extra cost option. The Breakfast `help yourself` was cold. Room ok , but not enough milk or Tea, and no biscuits. Otherwise ok

The Hotel is well positioned for the main attractions in London,You are near the Russel Square tube station or you can walk to Covent Garden in 15 mins.The Hotel is spotlesley clean with very friendly staff-The rooms are basio but have all you need , tea/coffee Plasma TV,shower all that you require for a nice weekend break in London

The staff were friendly at check in. the room was what you`d expect from a london hotel that`s not breaking the bank to stay at. The hotel is in a good position for sight seeing with plenty of accesible attractions in walking distance. a bit noisy but anywhere in london would be.

Good clean and friendly hotel rooms spacious very close to tube would use again

Reception and public areas of the hotel were lovely. Room 503 and bed linen smelled of stale cigarettes. Room was a good size and comfortable but very bland in decor. Needs the shower cubicle sorting out. The shower curtain was way too short about 6 inches too high. All the water overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Very nice staff.

My stay at the bloomsbury park was just for one night but was excellent. The staff were very friendly, very good location, room was clean, spacious. Even though it is located on the busy high street, you cant hear the traffic etc.......will book in here again next year.
