No air con. Shower weak, difficult to regulate temperature of water.

We stayed for one night and apart from a 20 minute wait at Reception it was all good - especially the swimming pool on a very hot day.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would use it again.

Room was ok . Staff friendly . A bit out of the way from any where .

Air con was great and comfortable bed, room was deluxe double but seemed more standard bathroom was a bit tired but adequate. Food in bar okay.

Reception staff friendly and helpful, location further out than we thought, used local bus . Room very clean and comfortable, no street or traffic noise.

As always this hotel was comfortable. The staff made our check in and out run very smoothly. We had breakfast on our last day and it was exceptional. The hot food was hot, the plates for the hot food were hot, you don`t always get that in other hotels I have been to before. Breakfast was lovely.

Was clean and tidy but bath very slow to run. Windows could do with replacing and t.v needs updating as only had 5 channels.

The Thistle Barbican is the best hotel my partner and I have stayed in when in London, The service from the fantastic reception staff, bar staff and restaurant staff is top notch. If there is anything you need just ask and they will do their upmost to help. Breakfast is fantastic with plenty of choice with staff always on hand to help. The deluxe rooms are lovely and worth paying that bit extra. I would highly recommend and shall stay here again when we are next in London.

Warm welcoming staff, clean, room lovely (425) just not enough plug socket. Only issue and it is a small one, pool and pool showers need re-tiling. Well placed for tube and buses to visit all parts of London

Everything we needed from a theatre break. Good breakfast, would stay again.

Bed was hard not enough plug sockets in room. Soap dried out the skin alot. Telly didn`t really work in the room sound was very low on channels.

a 341;easonable hotel. we had a problem with the electrics and it was sorted very quickly.

The TV was not working on arrival. Reception was advised and I assumed it would be sorted by the time I returned late evening. It was not. A reminder was given to the `vague` reception staff after 22:00 but ultimately at 22:40 the hotels solution was for us to change rooms! We didn`t.Earlier in the evening, we had planned on having a meal in the restaurant, but were told that we could only eat in the bar. However, in the bar an extremely drunk lady was continually swearing. As the staff did nothing about this situation, we ended up leaving the hotel and eating out.At 03:00 in the morning, we were awoken by a particularly noisy group of drunken men who proceeded to put loud music on for the next 45 minutes.If the staff had taken any responsibility for the TV, the drunken lady or the the noise at 03:00 in the morning, it could have been much better. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Hotel facilities were good. Breakfast charges reasonable. Service fantastic. Bed a little hard but still slept like a log.

The hotel was divided into two sections and cant comment on the rooms in the main section as we were based in the second area. The lobby was clean tidy and well decorated. There was decorating going on in the downstairs area in our section. Hopefully this will then move into the rooms. The room was clean and tidy but could do with been up dated as a lot of the furniture was marked and chipped bathroom the same, clean and tidy but a funny lay out and ready for a face lift.Not a bad location we enjoy walking so walked into central London 20-30mins away. Tube 10mins away.

Old out of date building. Room was next to the lift and stairwell so noisy constantly. Needs pulled down and rebuilt. Beyond an upgrade!

T.V didn`t work properly, lost channels and no volume on some. Had to keep asking for more Tea bags for the room. Things not replaced like no tissues and lightbulb gone in bathroom. Not very clean, housekeeping poor. Shower cold one day, too hot the next. Only positive, bed was comfortable.

Very helpful staff. Exceptional service from the woman who booked us in, in helping us with how to get around London. All the facilities were good. The breakfast was excellent. Room had all we required.

Would have preferred ot to be nearer Covent Gardens. Never enough teabags!

I can not fault this hotel at all. Visited as a treat for my daughters 8th birthday. On arrival we were greeted by the Receptionist called Molly she said how lovely my daughters manners were and said she would send up a treat to our room for that and the fact it was her birthday. My daughter was theirs when she had a birthday card delivered along with cakes pop and a nice bottle of wine for me and her grandma. Molly went above and beyond her job (Thankyou for making my daughters weekend) best day ever she said. The rooms were spotless along with the restaurant and the spa. The staff were very helpful. We will be back x
