The room was large ( two bedded room) and was excellent. However I was very surprised that there was no cofee/tea available in the room, at £317 for the room I was amazed as even in the cheapest hotel this is usually supplied. The staff were excellent, all were very helpful and extremely convivial, nothing was too much trouble. One more small critism is that it cost £15 to use the swimming pool and sauna which in other hotels is usually free to overnight guests. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again.
The Rooms were too hot, could not turn heat down, I like a miniumum breakfast £22 was too much have a alacarte for those who only have small amounts, No Coffe machines in room
Were invited to a company Christmas party there and decided to book a room for the night. Party was very good with attentive service. We stayed in a basic doubleroom which was lovely and large - beautifully appointed. Enjoyed the bar too and ended up having the best breakfast too. Hotel is well situated and we will go back!
when checking out,i was asked by a nicole pingitore.did i have anything from the private bar in the hotel roomi said not, as i never ust the room bar,and she still charged me for something, also i rang the hotel to ask do they have parking, the hotel told me yes, we do have parking.but you would have thought they would have told you it is £40 a night to park
pre paid for room. No credit card so took 200 Stg as "guarantee" and put restriction on phone. Poor way to treat us. felt like criminal.
wonderful hotel , great stay no complaints whatsoever
Please can we have tea and coffee facilities in the roomsThanks
hotel was lovely didnt expect to pay extra for a bed when we had booked a room for 3 people . i think £28 for a english breakfast is a bit steep plus having to pay £15 for adults and £9 for children to go for a swim is a rip off we thought we would indulge ourselfs for once but never again at these prices i thought everything would be included i have stayed in quite a few hotels due to work and they all come with modern televisions and sky this hotel had old tellys and if you wanted anything apart from the normal 5 channels then once again it was more cost our room smelt of paint ( due to painting going on outside our room ) nobodys fault but not the best way to be greeted last thing didnt like the way they charged £200 to my card just in case we wanted to use room service or the bar
Our room was beautiful and due to a delay with the availabilty of our Superiour room, we were upgraded to a Junior suite at no extra charge. We dined in the dwn stairs bar & Winter Garden rest, both were magnificent. Concierge/ Reception/Rest./ staff are Topclass.
The hotel itself was a surprise all the luxury of a 5 star hotel in Marylebone Rd and l didnt know it existed. Never the less the room and the en suite bathroom were superb. The breakfast was delightful although a bit expensive being nearly £50 for a cup of tea and a crossiant x2. The car park was also a bit expensive being £40 per night, although you are in a 5 star hotel in central London. Overall a lovely experience and l would do it all again. JG
When having dinner in the 2Twenty2 brasserie room I was asked by the waitress if I would like any bread. I said OK. She came back later to say there was only brown bread available and white bread would be a few minutes. I said I did not mind I will have the bread that is available. She came back quite quickly with a plate of brown and white bread and said the white bread was available after all. I had the meal, which was very good, and was astonished to be charged £5.25 for white bread and £5.25 for brown bread, which meant I paid more for bread than for my starter.
We had a brilliant nights stay. Staff were very attentive and our room was great. The bed was so comfortable. My husband particularly liked having his shoes cleaned and ready in the morning. Just a shame we couldn`t make tea or coffee in the morning!
hi there, i would like to say how utterly thrille i was with my very brief stay at the landmark. The staff were really cheerful and helpful, i was given a free upgrade and even though we overslept we were not woken till 2pm!!!! a great end to a great night out, thanks alot, will be recomending you and using you again. kind regards, alex martin
Room and facility were reasonably priced.Location is convenient for city access.
Could not fault it it! Were given an executive room and the service was excellent, would definitely use it again.
One doesn`t mind paying a lot for exceptional facilities and surroundings, but having to order a simple cup of tea or coffee at vast expense makes you feel the management are really only in it for the money rather than the convenience and enjoyment of guests. The room mini bar prices (£4.50) for a small bottle of water only reinforce the feeling of being "fleeced" . I would not rush to go back, even with the helpfully discounted rates offered by Hotel direct. Next time I shall seek better value for a lot of money.
Great hotel with excellent service, our 3 rd visit and never disapoints.
I arranged a stay at the Landmark to celebrate my wife`s birthday. We were upgraded to a deluxe room for free and all the staff were friendly and courteous. We only stayed one night, but my wife had a great time. The signature treatment at the spa was "exceptional".
Service excellent , food etc expensive and the atrium restaurant often requires pre-booking.However, the room was very good value. Spacious, airy, light feel everywhere, good decor/furnishings, all up to date, very clean . Huge bed, very comfortable.
The Landmark welcomes guests in a professional, friendly and courteous manner, offers excellent and comfortable rooms, it is well situated in Central London with a good range of facilities and services. I would recommend to colleagues and business travellers.
