good location, room very small, but no problem being moved the next mornning to another room. staff helpful
Was ok and for the price I suppose was quite good
I was disappointed with the size of the room but since we were only using it as a base to crash at it was fine. Hotel was clean and our beds were made for us and fresh towels so I guess it come down to you get what you pay for. Breakfast was extra at £13 but there was a lovely pub at the end of the street that served breakfast and it was delicious. Also a Greggs at the end of the street too.
Hotel reception and Restaurant was very smart. My room was fairly basic but fine for my needs. The only problem I did encounter was the noise from the street at night and I think if the windows were double glazed the residents would benefit greatly.
Comfortable Hotel good Restaurant, particularly the Asian food. Staff very helpful and obliging, can definitely recommend.
The room was a bit small.
Would liked to have stayed longer - maybe next time. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced.
Having just returned from this hotel, I can safely say it is nothing to write home about. The staff were just about civil to us but I was surprised to find them never saying "Good Morning" or exchanging any pleasantries with guests at all. The room itself had a broken light in the bathroom with flashed on and off and the bathroom didn`t smell particularly nice, almost damp. The room itself was of reasonable size for a 3 star and the location in regards to the tube was very convenient. I wuldn`t be rushing back there in any great hurry.
Have stayed twice this year but do not think will be using again. Our stay incorporated a friday/saturday and they have a disco in the basement. We were on the second floor and it kept us awake. The room this time was cramped the showers need attention as the heads are fixed and this is a problem when trying to adjust the temperature as there is nowhere to go whilst doing so.
The initial view of the hotel is relatively impressive and the lobby and restaurant are good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They happily stored our luggage prior to, and post, checking out which helped with travel arrangements. The room (116) was very small but we may have been unlucky. The biggest problem was that the room was very warm (hot weather) and although it had a ceiling fan, the lack of aircon made the nights a bit uncomfortable. We were forced to leave the french windows open which increased the noise from the street. That said, the room was clean and the facilities ok and its location is brilliant for travel around London and reasonably priced restaurants of an evening. Overall it`s well worth considering.
they are very comunicative, always prepared to assist in every demand, professional, they are simply great i am trilled with all facilites of the hotel enterprise, thank you for the pleasant staying at your hotel, Best regards, Gojko Bilic
From viewing the pictures and the star rating I thought there was a good chance this hotel could be ok - how wrong was I! The hotel lobby is very misleading as to the actual accomodation itself. Small does not even ccome close to describe the room size, I booked a double room and I am glad I was there on my own. I laughed at other guest reviews prior to booking about the room size, I thought no way can it be that bad. I was impressed as to how much they cold fit into a room that size, but quite alot is the answer. The hotel in itself is clean, staff helpful and good location. Noisy at night and but a fan if the weather is warm!!
The first room (double) we were given was awful, however, for a little extra we were moved to a twin room which was newly decorated and suited us well. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
We would recommend to anyone...we had a lovely stay...nice, clean, and tidy, and met all our needs...thank you
me and my wife recently stayed at this hotel and the staff on the reception were ok but no great welcome! room was just big enough to get a double bed in but was in a clean condition and the ensuite was tiny and you bang your head on sink or the roof {choice is yours} while sat on the toilet ! the air conditioning unit was useless thank god we found a fan in the wardrobe. but lets face it you dont go to london to spend all your time in a hotel room. should be advertised as a basic room with basic facilities but clean and tidy and well presented. well ocated for use of tube less than 1 minute away from earls court tube station.
Had a great room, no issues checking in and would def use again.
the room was average for a triple but our view was a brick wall, room smelt i think it must of been above the kitchen, the toilet smelt like curry..there was damp in the bedroom ceillng ,,it was a really hot weekend and the air conditioning didnt work properly and most of all i was disgusted that we were going to be charged £25 per night for the car to be put in their car park! so i wouldnt stay there again
Whilst nice from the outside and in the lobby, breakfast room etc. be mindful that some of the rooms are not refurbished and about 10-15 years old. Apart from the that the have the size of a shoebox with less than 50cm to each side of the bed! You better be sure that you are allocated a proper refurbished and reasonably sized room when making your booking. Otherwise it might be spoiling your stay big time!!! Value for money for the room I have been allocated was dreadful and say the least a big disappointment!
a little noisey at night but we are spoilt at home in the country .very convenient for the ideal home excibition
The rooms are really small to the point that we had to take turns standing up. Think small cabin on a cruise ship.room also too hot evem with all the heating off
Stayed for 2 nights. Good location. Much cheaper than staying in central London. Few minutes walk to underground. Piccadilly line only 10mins to West End which is perfect if going to a show. Local area good for coffee shops, restaurants, takeaways etc. Suprised at how quiet location was despite being just off a busy main road. Only downside could be size of room for some people. If you are travelling with lots of luggage avoid as rooms are on the small side. But if you just want a bed for a couple of nights then this is ideal. Very clean. Staff pleasant.
great location for getting to london, hotel very clean rooms adequate no problems, only critisisum really noisey with music up untill 2 am, would definatley stay her again but only without the loud music.
The hotel has good amenities (restaurant, etc). Room was small but clean and functional. Within 150m of Earl`s Court tube station and a number of good restaurants.
Booked the morning of the 1 night stay, room was small but clean and warm.bed comfortable with extra pillows and blankets for your requirements.was overall impressed.
The room was small and the hairdryer did not work but when we ask in the reception that the hairdryer did not work they change us room to a much nicer room.the toilet was very clean in both rooms.the reception and restaurant is georgeous but the room is not what u expect from the overall hotel. In conclusion if u are looking for money value this hotel is good but do not expect a 3star hotel. Clean great location safe very safe area and friendly staff.
just stayed there last night, previously stayed there in november 2009, not the same type of room at all. old and needed updating. my previous room was immaculate and new.
evrything was there, a reasonable bed, shower ok etc and the room was clean. It was tiny and basic, ok for one night but I would not want to stay longer.
Will stay again
receptionist was a bit cold in greeting us but efficient . It is well located near the tube station the rooms are quite small and the en suite a bit basic but ok. i would reccomend the hotel on the deal i got which for a mid week was fantastic.
Great location, first impressions of ground floor very good but bedroom was disappointing. Two adults and two children in very small room, tiny window - too warm. Changed room after two nights - second bedroom much more comfortable.
The location of this hotel is good particularly for Heathrow and the London Underground. We found that the accomodation did not match the brochure or website impressions. The hotel is a numberof Victorian houses joined and sub-divided with very small irregular shaped rooms and poor furnishings. The Lobby area is of a good standard but again is not representative of what lies beyond. The lift facility is inadequate with very long delays and the alternative of using the stairs is not suitable for any but the fittest due to shallow treads and very narrow corridors etc. A Hotel charging these rates and rated as three star should have refrigeration, air-con and much better standard fixtures and decor.
The outside of the hotel and lobby look great. But once you go up to your rooms, you will be unpleasantly surprised. The room was extremely small and not very accomodating. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower was extremely small. The hotel lobby staff was friendly!
Small room, but nice and tidy. Got everything I need.
