We really enjoyed a 3 night stay with our two boys aged 6 and 8. We did have a little noise on the Friday night from inside and out but apart from that we thought the hotel was a really good base for exploring London and would be happy to stay there again.
lovely hotel, comfortable large airy rooms well decorated, good size en-suite very clean, helpful freindly staff, good location for transport links into central London. Excellent choice and variety of breakfast foods with unlimited servings. Will definatley stay there again.
room was very clean, breakfast excellent, conveniently located hotel 10 min walk from tube,
Good hotel and good standard of cleanliness but breakfast buffet chaotic especially at weekends
Room and bed were very comfortable. Good TV in room. Only criticism is the breakfast arrangement. Long queues for food. A suggestion is that hot food could be separated from cold food items which would make it speedier for those who only require rolls, cake or croissants.
This hotel has been well-planned out. Our room was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was hearty; the neighborhood, eclectic. London is quite accessible by tube. Be careful to learn how to sign out of the internet. We would certainly come again.
Nice hotel. About 20 mins by tube from West End and then a 5-10 min walk from Hammersmith station. Room very clean and comfortable. Very nice bathroom. Breakfast o.k., only hot food was sausages, beans (should have been hot but they were cold) and scrambled eggs. Staff were very pleasant.
We stayed as a family for 3 nights recently and really enjoyed the location. The staff were generally helpful and some were pleasant in their customer service. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom facilities were excellent. The only down side would be that as a family of 4 there was very little room to move once our luggage was in. It would help if the armchair was removed for this type of booking. Breakfast was great value and we appreciated it being included in the tarriff. Many thanks to you all.
Breakfast very poor and a bun fight!
Breakfast is a bit choatic, separating items such as Cooked items(toast etc would help)
In our party there was four children and three adults. The rooms were compact but very clean with plenty of towels and tea, coffee and milk to last the stay. Breakfast as good with something for everyone. The hotel is well positioned for shopping. The pub under the hotel offers value for money food and drink. The tube station is only a short walk away. Overall I rate our stay excellent.
Our only `gripe` if you can call it that, was that the breakfast service was a little slow. We had to ask and then wait for sausages and egg, and then tea cups, and then the tables weren`t cleared so I had to clear one to sit down. However a lovely lad came and told us the restaurant would be closing shortly in case we wanted to get anything else. We would most certainly use this hotel again. I was impressed that the hotel was happy to supply toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc etc f.o.c. (although I had brought my own its a useful thing to know.) The receptionists were friendly and helpful - you`re doing a great job!
It would have been nice to have one drawer/cupboard in the room. My husband and I are both on regular medication and my husband takes daily injections and we both felt uncomfortable about leaving everything on view of the staff. All staff we came into contact with were polite and courteous.
It was nice and clean. Big bathroom with a power shower. The extra sofa bed was very uncomfortable though. The breakfast was good. Missed some cheese and ham. Great location. We are overall very pleased with our stay in London and our hotel.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Hotel staff helpful. Good connections to central London by the District Line.
only complaint was the price of small beer, there is no need because it doesn`t encourage you to stay in the bar???
We have stayed in the holiday inn on half term break. I have decided to take my 2 boys on a 2 days fun stay in London. I preferred to come with the car and was looking for a reasonably priced hotel outside the congestion charge area with parking. Quite a lot to ask in London.Holiday Inn was perfect in all aspects, the ease of access from the west is excellent, straight down the M4. Plenty of parking in the hotel and although charged extra there was not time limit. The staff were great and very helpful, the beds were very comfortable, hot water, what else can you ask for? breakfast was very simple, but all fresh. The eggs were tasteless. The tube station is few minutes away and serves 3 lines and you can be in the centre in 10-15 mintues. great access to the science and natural history museum. We had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in London, real value for money.
All needs met. Check in quick and efficient and staff helpful and polite. Room clean and had tea/cofee and hair dryer as standard. Good overall area, with Lloyds and Witherspoon pubs on the door-step which offer great value for money family dining. Very quiet location and near the tube with most main attractions within 8 stops. Good value for money and we found the breakfast facilities adequate. Would stay again - family with 12 and 15 year old.
having slightly larger family rooms with single beds for older different sex kids would be helpful, overall good hotel and base for the weekend
Clean, fresh, brightStaff friendly and helpfulWould book again !
We only stayed one night but the staff were helpful in that they ensured we had a suitable room to accomodate my 3 children. They moved us to a accessibility room to allow for a cot to be added, which meant we did not have worry about taking our own. The room was very tidy and clean, no complaints with this at all.The only drawback was the crush for breakfast, it may be we were there at the wrong time, but there was a wait for cutlery and it was generally busy.
We were nicely surprised when we had booked the hotel for a middle of the road choice with our 2 little girls (aged 6 and 4) for a weekend in London. The hotel is right on Hammersmith High Street but don`t let this put you off, it has it`s own road and parking on a dead end street and so no passing traffic of vehicles or pedestrians. The room was spotless and well presented with all the facilities we needed. We were up early for breakfast and everything was hot and well resented, with a basic choice of scrambled egg and sausages for hot breakfast with a a good mixture of toast, cerelas, yoghurt, fruits, fruit juices, coffees and teas and pastries. The girls went up for thirds. I would definitely stay again as I regularly stay in West London on business and so know the variety and unknown pitfalls of booking hotels (even in named chains) but would wholeheartedly recommend the Hilton in Hammersmith if you value good service clean and well kept rooms and a healthy breakfast.
Everything was fine for an overnight stay at a very reasonable price. The only critisism would be about the hot breakfast - Very limited choices of scrambled eggs and sausages!
We really enjoyed our stay and found the hotel Clean and Friendly. We stayed in a family room, that was clean and met all our needs. we would stay again, thanks!
it would of been nice to have had subtitle on the tv in engish for the deaf poeple that stay with you
The location is fab! Hotel very clean, staff very friendly. Hotel very busy. Breakfast time nightmare. Tables could be set out better.
Good location, reasonable parking and breakfast, friendly staff, but the rooms are a little basic, 90`s style portable tv that had a dodgy flicker was a pain.
good clean hotel, value for money, staff helpful, great location for underground.family room we had was a good size for three people.would use again
