Each of The Z Hotel Glasgow`s 104 compact bedrooms are arranged around a central light-well over ground and five upper floors. The contemporary and design focused rooms are compact in size ranging from 8m² for a Single, and increase to 13m² for a Queen room. The hotel`s rooms are internal and have no windows. All air-conditioned rooms feature an en-suite wet room with glass partition, bespoke, hand crafted beds, 39" HD TV with full Sky Sports & Movies package, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The Z Café serves breakfast any time before 11am (or 11.30am at weekends), where guests can start their day, before exploring the city. The café is open throughout the day offering a selection of platters: mezze, charcuterie or cheese boards, which are ideal for sharing as well as a great wine and Champagne list for evening drinks.

Hotel and location:

The Z Hotel Glasgow is a design led conversion of an Old Printworks. The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Glasgow, right next to George Square with its prestigious City Chambers and statues of great historical figures. This new concept of hotel offers guests compact luxury without the designer price tag. The hotel is unofficially rated, but Hotel Direct has visited the property and would class it of a 3 star deluxe to 4 star standard. As you step outside of the hotel you will be immersed in the very centre of the Glasgow, with The Style Mile and its many malls, boutiques and designer stores only a 2 minute walk away. Guests can take a stroll through the city centre to the banks of the Clyde and enjoy the riverside views before taking in an event at either the SSE Hydro or the Scottish exhibition and Conference Centre. Glasgow Queen Street station is less than a 3 minute walk from the hotel, meaning that the whole of Glasgow and its many sights and attractions are within easy reach.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Glasgow Queen Street Station. Head east on George Square towards North Hanover Street. Turn left onto North Frederick Street and the hotel will on your right.
BY BUS: From Buchanan bus station. Head south on North Hanover Street toward Killermont Street. Turn left toward North Frederick Street. Turn right onto North Frederick Street. The hotel will be on your left.
FROM GLASGOW AIRPORT: By Bus. First 500 Glasgow Shuttle, Glasgow City Centre up to every 10 minutes linking to Buchanan St Bus Station (5-10 minutes` walk to hotel) as well as Glasgow Queen St (less than 5 minutes` walk to hotel).
BY CAR: From M74. Head northwest on M74 towards Glasgow. Take junction 4, exit onto M73 toward Glasgow/Stirling/A80. At junction 19, exit onto M8 toward Glasgow City Centre. At junction 15, take the A803 exit to Cathedral Glasgow Cross. Merge onto Stirling Road. Turn right onto Cathedral Street. Turn left onto Montrose Street. Turn right onto Ingram Street and the hotel will be on your left.
