Hotel and location:

The 4* Crowne Plaza Nottingham is situated in the city centre, a stones` throw from many attractions. Easily accessible by rail, it is just a 15 minute walk from the hotel to Nottingham Railway station, or 8 minutes via public transport. The Royal Centre tram stop is on the doorstep giving instant transport links around the city. Nottingham Trent University is less than 5 minutes` walk away, as is Nottingham Playhouse, with sites such as the National Videogame Arcade and the shopping opportunities of the Lace Market within 15 minutes on foot. Nottingham castle, Museum and Art Gallery are easily reached by a pleasant stroll through the city where guests can enjoy a slice of history and explore the ancient caves beneath their feet. For guests who will be attending concerts at the Motorpoint Arena, there is just a 15 minute walk between this and the hotel, and a little further afield, the National Water-sports Centre which can be reached in 15 minutes by car, as well as Alton Towers which is approximately an hours` drive away.

Getting there:

BY CAR: From M1 North-bound. Follow the M1 North-West, at Junction 24 take the A453 exit to Nottingham, at the roundabout take the fifth exit onto Remembrance Way/A453, and continue on this road through the next four roundabouts. Merge onto Clifton Blvd/A52, then take the A6005 exit towards the City Centre/Long Eaton, at the roundabout take the third exit onto Abbey Street, then a left onto Gregory Street. Turn right onto Derby Road/A6200, this takes a left turn to become St. Helens Street, use any lane to turn right onto Alfreton Road/A610. Continue on this road, going straight on to Wollaton Street and the hotel will be on the left.
From M1 South-bound. Take the A610 exit towards Nottingham, then at the Nuthall Interchange take the first exit onto the A610. Take the fourth exit at the roundabout to stay on this road and the second exit at the next onto Nuthall Road, continue to follow this road, travelling straight onto Wollaton Street and the hotel will be on the left.
BY RAIL: Exit Nottingham Station and walk south on Carrington Street towards Queensbridge Road, turn left onto Queens Road and take the pedestrian overpass to Nottingham Station Tram Stop. Take the NET Tram to the Royal Centre Tram Stop. Exit the tram and walk south on Goldsmith Street towards Wollaton Street, turn right onto Wollaton Street and the hotel will be on the right. This is approx. a 10 minute journey.
