In-room facilities include free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, radio, hairdryers and tea & coffee making facilities. After a days sightseeing or shopping in the city centre guests can return for a swim in the hotel`s indoor pool and relax in the adjacent Jacuzzi. There is also a fitness suite available for guests to use during their stay. The hotel`s award winning Raglan restaurant is open for dinner every evening offering a menu featuring local Welsh ingredients. Food is also served throughout the day in the fully licenced bar and lounge where guests can enjoy a leisurely drink whilst enjoying the lakeside views. Hotel and location:

This 4* lake side property, just minutes from the M4 is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding area and local attractions. Cardiff City Centre is approximately 5 miles/15 minutes drive from the hotel or can be reached by the local bus service which is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel and has a journey time of about 30 minutes. The city centre offers visitors the combination of old and new, the medieval Cardiff Castle is just a few minutes walk from the Millennium Stadium, home of Welsh rugby and other sporting events. The city is also an excellent shopping destination combining high street names with unique independent stores and cafes inside the glass-roofed arcades. Just 8 miles/14 minutes drive from the hotel is Cardiff Bay where guests can visit the interactive Dr Who Experience, as well as water based activities. There are also a great selection waterside restaurants and bars open throughout the day and into the evening.

Getting there:

BY RAIL: It is approximately 7 miles from Cardiff Central Station to the hotel. By taxi from outside the station the journey is approximately 3-5 minutes. BY ROAD FROM M5 HEREFORD: At junction 8 of the M5 take the exit towards M50/South Wales/Ross. After 0.5 miles at the Strensham Interchange, take the 2nd exit for M50/South Wales/Ross. After approximately 21 miles join the M4 by taking the 1st exit at the roundabout onto A449 then at Over Ross Roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A40. After 1.4 miles take the 3rd exit at the roundabout and stay on the A40. Stay on this route for the next 10 miles and then continue straight to stay on the A449 for approximately 13 miles. Using the slip road join the M4 and follow the route for Cardiff/A4232. Keep right to stay on the M4 and then after 11 miles at Junction 33, take the A4232 exit sign posted Airport/Barry/ Cardiff West. Continue on this road by taking the 1st exit at the roundabout. After 3.1 miles use the left hand lane to take the A48/A4050 slip road sign posted Cardiff(W)/Cardiff Airport/Barry Airport. Take the 4th exit at the roundabout onto A48 and then turn left onto Copthorne Way, go straight ahead at the roundabout and the hotel will be on your left.
