The 4* The Queen at Chester Hotel is located opposite Chester Railway Station and is less than 10 minutes` walk from the city centre. It is a very convenient location for both business travellers and visitors wishing to explore this historic Roman City. Chester boasts the most complete City Walls in Britain, 2 miles long. Visitors should also make sure to visit Chester Cathedral (which is free to enter) and peruse the shops in The Rows. This hotel is also a great location for visiting Chester Racecourse, which is less than 2 miles approximately 10 minutes` drive or for a family day out to Chester Zoo, just 4 miles away. Parking is available at a pay and display car park where guests receive reduced rates.

Opened in 1860 to accommodate First Class Passengers, the 4* The Queen at Chester Hotel, is an original Victorian railway hotel. Whilst retaining many original features, the hotel combines them with modern hotel amenities. All of the 221 bedrooms, spread over 7 floors, are elegantly styled with modern ensuite bathrooms. All rooms include flat screen TVs with over 100 channels, free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, work desk & chair and hairdryer. A generous buffet breakfast with cooked and Continental items is served every morning in the Kings` Grill from 6am-10am (7.30-10.30am on Saturdays and 8am-11am on Sundays). A comprehensive menu of British classics is also served every evening from 6pm. For more casual dining, guests can relax in the hotel`s bar the Waiting Room. A traditional Afternoon Tea is served every day in the Albert Lounge.
