The Ibis Styles Excel Hotel in London offers 282 rooms each of which has an ensuite bathroom with power shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. In-room facilities include free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, work desk, personal safe and complimentary mineral water. Buffet breakfast is served daily in the bright and cheery breakfast room and the hotel also has a café as well as a pub called the Old Custom House. Hotel and location:

The Ibis Styles Excel Hotel is located just opposite the Excel Exhibition Centre and Custom House DLR Station. The Docklands Light Railway will whisk you to Bank or Tower Hill underground station from where Covent Garden, Theatreland and all of central London is easily reached by tube. Canning Town Tube Station also offers direct access to the city centre via the Jubilee Line. London City Airport is a 10-minute drive away and the O2 Arena is also easy to reach by public transport.

Getting there:

NEAREST TUBE: Ibis Styles on The Docklands Light Railway (DLR). From Central London take the Jubilee line to Canning Town, then take the DLR in the direction of Beckton. Alight at Custom House. The station is directly opposite the hotel.
BY CAR: The hotel is just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25.
FROM THE M25 NORTH: At Junction 27 follow the M11 towards London City. On the M11, exit at the Junction 4 onto the A406 (towards Ilford, Barking and Excel). Once you have past Ilford and Barking, you will arrive at a huge roundabout. Follow the A1020 in the direction of London City Airport/ExCeL. Pass Gallions roundabout, the Docklands Campus and the Regatta Centre and from there on, follow the signs to Custom House/Canning Town. This will take you to Victoria Dock Road and the hotel will be on your right hand side, opposite the ExCeL and the Docklands Line Railway. For Car Park, turn right at the traffic lights, then right again; entry has red and white barrier.
FROM THE M25 NORTH: At Junction 30 take the A13 towards London City. Once you arrive at the huge roundabout, follow the directions as stated above.
