Hotel and location:

The H10 Villa De La Reina is ideally located in Madrid`s cosmopolitan Gran Via district in the city centre. The beautiful 20th century building has been elegantly renovated and modernised into what is now a 4 star hotel, while still maintaining many unique architectural features. The hotel`s enviable situation overlooks the Plaza de Cibeles, with its neo-classical arrangement of marble sculptures and fountains. A short 5 minute walk will take you to the Puerta del Sol, one of the best known and busiest places in Madrid. It is here you`ll find the famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of the twelve grapes and the beginning of a New Year. Both the Prado and Reina Sofia Museums are a short walk away and together hold one of the finest collections of art in Europe including paintings by Picasso, Francis Bacon and Damien Hurst. The Gran Via metro station is 50m away from the hotel giving easy access to most major attractions, making the hotel an ideal base for discovering Madrid`s plentiful sights and experiencing the enchanting culture.

Getting there:

BY METRO: Nearest Metro Station Gran Via (Lines 1 and 5). Exit Metro Station and walk along Gran Via towards Calle Alcala. You will find the hotel approximately 100 metres on your left hand side.
BY TRAIN: From Atocha Train Station. Take the Metro Line 1 towards Plaza de Castilla and get off at the fourth stop (Gran Via). From here follow the above directions to the hotel.
BY AIR: From Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport by Metro. Take Metro Line 8 towards Nuevos Ministerios. At Nuevos Ministerios change to Line 10 towards Puerto del Sur. Get off at Tribunal (3 stops). From here you can take a taxi, which would cost about 10 euros, or alternatively walk 10 minutes down Fuencarral Street towards Gran Via. Turn down Gran Via on your left and then walk towards Calle Alcala. You will find the hotel about 100 metres on your left hand side.
