The 2* deluxe District Republique Hotel lies within easy distance of one of Paris`s main railway stations, Gare du Nord This means that guests travelling in by train or Eurostar are only 10 minutes away by Metro, or 15 minutes on foot for those who travel light. Alternatively Gare de Lyon can be reached in around 25 minutes via Metro. Famous sites such as The Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral can be enjoyed with a 20 minute trip on the Metro, or a leisurely 30 minute stroll through the Parisian streets. The shopping opportunities of the Champs-Elysees are around 25 minutes away by public transport and the iconic Eiffel Tower can be reached in 35 minutes, from here unrivalled views over the city can be found.

BY AIR: From Paris Charles de Gaulle: Take the RER B to Gare du Nord then take Metro Line 5 to Jacques Bonsergent. From Paris Orly: Take the Orlybus to Denfert-Rochereau, then take the RER B to Gare du Nord, then take Metro Line 5 to Jacques Bonsergent OR Take the Orlyval shuttle to Gare d`Antony, then take the RER B to Gare du Nord, then take Metro Line 5 to Jacques Bonsergent.
BY TRAIN: From the Gare du Nord (Thalys, Eurostar trains): GO DIRECT, Take Metro Line 5 OR Take Bus 65 to Jacques Bonsergent. From Paris-Gare de Lyon: Take Bus 65 to République OR Take Metro Line 1 to Bastille then take Metro Line 5 to République. ON FOOT: From Jacques Bonsergent Metro station. Walk north-west on Boulevard de Magenta towards Rue Lucien Sampaix, then turn left onto Rue Lucien Sampaix, the hotel will be on the left. This is approx. a 1 minute walk. From République Metro Station. Walk north-west on Place de la République, then turn right to stay on this road. Turn left onto Place de la République/Rue René Boulanger, then right onto Boulevard de Magenta. Take a slight left onto Rue du Château d`Eau, and finally a right onto Rue Lucien Sampaix, the hotel will be on the righ, this is approx. a 7 mintue walk.
