The historic Tower of London, home to the dazzling Crown Jewels, is within a leisurely half an hour walk or a 20 minute tube journey via the DLR from Shadwell. If a West End show is on the cards, a 30 minute journey via the Central and DLR lines can place you at Tottenham Court Road station where many of London`s major theatres are there for your choosing.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From any mainline railway station take the Underground to Whitechapel serviced by the District or Hammersmith & City Lines. Exit the station onto Whitechapel Road and walk west towards Court St. Turn left onto Court St and then almost immediately left again back onto Whitechapel Rd. After 0.1 miles turn right onto Cavell St and continue for 0.3 miles to the htoel.
BY CAR: From the North and East join M25 east bound at junction 6A and follow to junction 30. Continue straight on the A13 for 12 miles past Limehouse. The Hotel is situated on the right hand side about 0.5 miles before the end of the A13. From the South join the A23 from junction 7 on the M25. At Kennington Park Road bear left onto the A3. After 1 mile turn left onto A20 and take 2nd exit at the roundabout to A11. Continue onto the A1210. Take a sharp right then 1st left onto the A1203. After 0.6 miles turn left into Cannon Street and right onto Commercial Road. From the West head to M4 which will merge into the A4. Stay on A4 through Green Park and Piccadilly then turn South onto A201. Then turn East onto the A3211 just before Blackfriars Bridge then take the A1203 East. Take the 8th left exit onto Cannon Street. At the next major intersection turn left onto Commercial Road.
