The Express Café and Bar in the hotel`s lobby is open from 6.30am daily serving a hot and cold buffet breakfast. Although the hotel does not have a formal restaurant, the Gas Street Basin area of the city offers a huge choice of restaurants, bars and nightlife and is only a 6 minute walk away.

As well as being just a 7 minute walk to the International Convention Centre, it is also only 10 minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Centre and the Bullring Shopping Mall. Birmingham`s famous Jewellery Quarter, home to workshops, galleries and shops is approximately 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Guests attending a performance at the Symphony Hall will have just a 7 minute walk to reach the venue. Utilita Arena Birmingham is also approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Getting there:

BY CAR: From the M6 heading north, at Junction 19 take the A556 exit to Manchester/Manchester Airport/M56. At Tabley Interchange, take the 4th exit onto the M6 slip road to Birmingham and merge onto M6. Follow this route for the next 50 miles and then at Junction 11A use the left 2 lanes to take the M6 exit to Birmingham/M5. Continue onto the M6 and after approximately 14.5 miles use the 2nd from left lane to the exit towards A38(M). Keep right and follow signs for A38(M) and merge onto A38(M). After 2 miles continue onto Aston Express Way (A38) and keep right to stay on this route. Continue to follow A38 and keep right to continue on Queensway (A38). Keeping right continue onto Great Charles Street Queensway/A38. After 0.5 miles use the left 2 lanes to take the exit towards New Street and continue onto Suffolk Street Queensway. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit and stay on Suffolk Street Queensway. Take the slip road on the right onto Suffolk Street Queensway/A38 and use the left lane to take the slip road to A4540/A457/Ring Road. Turn left onto Holliday Street/A456 and the hotel will be on your right.
BY TRAIN: From Birmingham New Street Station walk southwest on Navigation Street towards Pinfold Street. Make a right turn towards A456 and then almost immediately turn left onto A456 and the hotel will be on the right.
