Hotel was in a fantastic location, opposite the Italian Fountains in Hyde Park. Lancaster Gate was closed but Paddington station isn`t very far away and the hotel sent good directions. the staff were warm, friendly and very welcoming and the facilities were OK. We thought the hotel staff were very overstretched and the poor girl serving the breakfasts was rushed off her feet. Breakfast was very disappointing, not a very good choice. There was plenty of cereals, porridge, cheese, eggs however bread and pastry and supplies plus crockery and glassware was running out before they could be replaced. We didn`t want to complain because it was obvious that the young lady was trying her very hardest to seat people, serve drinks, clear tables and keep the buffet stocked up. Provision in our room for tea and coffee was very mean,there was a variety of teas but only 2 pots of cream and 2 normal coffee sachets and 2 decaf, mean supplies in a hotel of this standard.

London elizabeth hotel is need of some serious tlc. We did not enjoy our time in the hotel at all. No work or repairs have been made for I would guess 40 + years would not recommend or stay again.

Booked a double room and ended up being given three single beds! When asked he hotel said it was house keeping issues and there was no double rooms for us. Therefore the hotel organised for us to move, the new hotel was so much nicer and the staff were lovely and helpful! (The Cranley) The Elizabeth London needs some work. It just looked run down and old. The beds (even though we only sat on them before moving hotels) felt soft and well used (not in a good way)

It was so nice to stay in a hotel that is a little different from your usual generic. I loved the decor, especially the chandeliers. The staff were without exception A1*. It was nice to have breakfast included, especially as it was served until 11am. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, or indeed using it again myself.

Staff all nice and really helpful but hotel just looking a little tired. I`ve been staying here over 25 years and there is little that has changed.

Great for those who want to walk into the city as well as right next to the tube.

The rooms were too warm so with the windows open the rooms were quite noisy. The staff and the food were excellent and I would go back

The Hotel is in a good area to stay & a bonus if travelling by car because of the safe & secure parking behind the Hotel. And although it`s £15 a day it is well worth it. The staff were all friendly polite & helpful. The Hotel is clean but badly in need of modernisation! Our room was very tiny & dated. But saying that the bed was very comfortable. Apart from that my husband & I had a lovely couple of days.

The hotel is clean, cosy and run by excellent staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The plumbing is elderly and in need of a refurb` but this might change the character of the hotel and I wouldn like to see that. We would definitely stay at the hotel in the future, highly recommended.

Lovely hotel and the staff were excellent. The lift was very small but overall there were areas that were 4 stars but my room would only have rated 2 to 3 stars. Value for money

Had not been informed that had to give £10 deposit by credit/debit card on arrival. I was informed this for use of room service or mini bar. Even though I did not intend to use these services I still had to pay. On departure even though had not used these services this deposit would not be returned until 5-7 days after departure. I hope that this deposit will be returned! on a positive note- a warm hotel with tube station almost next door provides easy access to this amazing city.

Staff polite and helpful. Great location. Rooms small but comfortable. Bathroom dated and in bad repair with tiles about to fall off the walls. Considering the price it`s just not good enough

Everything about the London Elizabeth was just what we`d hoped. It was the first time that I`d booked anything on -line and I found it all so straightforward. The room we shared was comfortable; the meals we ate were delicious. I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend the London Elizabeth to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good location with car parking at a reasonable price for London. We were upgraded to a suite which was an unexpected bonus. The suite was a good size, and had some nice homely touches. Continental breakfast looked a bit tired, but did the job. We`d stay here again.

Staff very helpful. Room clean, tidy and well furnished. Good continental breakfast. Shame about the noise from the street, but what can we expect for central London. Didn`t stop me from sleeping!!

Stayed here for one night following an event in Hyde Park. The location was perfect and the room comfortable and clean. The appearance of the hotel is slightly tired overall although reception, the restaurant and general public areas are welcoming and well presented. Staff helpful and polite. Would stay again.

Comfortable Good location Breakfast poorly prepared no cutlery ,dishes, fruit juice .ordered a poached egg after half an hour wait had to go .

Nice hotel, friendly staff and clean, breakfast nice, plenty of choice. Rooms are quite small, but didn`t spend much time in the room, so this wasn`t a problem.

Room for 3 no shower curtain only 2 cups a bit tired with a well worn appearence afternoon tea sorry to say was diabolical over priced poorly presented dry unappetising fare presented staff pleasent tried hard, nice location with the park opposite would not stay here again

The London Elizabeth is somewhere I am sure we will stay again. Very comfortable, clean and friendly. Brilliant location for both tube and bus. Cant recommend it highly enough.

Appearance is dated and needs modernising and freshening up. Staff are an asset and were helpful throughout our stay.

BEDROOM QUITE SMALL AND BASIC, BATHROOM VERY SMALL AND OVERBATH SHOWER VERY AWKWARD TO OPERATE. BREAKFAST/FOOD GOOD, PARKING FACILITY GOOD AND CHARGES REASONABLE.

We go to London a few times a year and have tried many hotels over the years. This one we had never heard of but it was New Years eve and they had a room left. We didn`t know what to expect but what a great night we had. This hotel is all we have been looking for! Clean great staff and just in the right place too. Thanks everyone

Cheap, pleasant - excellent value for central London.

This hotel represents very good value for money and as it is so close to the tube station, it is an excellent hotel for travelling throughout London.

Although the Hotel needed updating you couldnt fault the cleanliness or the staff. The staff were always so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, we would all definately stay there again next year. Also a good location and very convenient.

Our stay was great, just one night. We were upgraded to the suite and my little boy was delighted with all the space he had to play. All staff were very helpful and very very nice.

All staff were foreign. We were sold this hotel as accessible. I have MS and use a wheelchair / scooter as I have severe walking difficulties. There is no way you can take this into the hotel. Steps from car park into hotel and steps from main front door with no hand rail. Door ways are narrow. Lift is tiny supposedly for 3 I wouldn`t try it. When we arrived it was raining, and water was pouring through the door of the lift when we told reception they acted surprised!!! We booked and paid for a double deluxe. The net curtain was a dirty grey colour needed a good wash, the room was a basement room and the view was of a wall. The bathroom sink was cracked and the bath was chipped. The room felt dirty, the carpets througoutt the hotel were old and smelly. In such a beautiful part of London this hotel was truely awful. I could continue but ....
