"Stunning"

Hotel is totally stunning, a real class of it`s own. Staff are amazingly helpful, polite and professional at all times. The rooms are modern, and clean which is always a bonus. My only draw back is the Taxi/Cab service. Would make you feel that the hotel had just gone that extra mile to have a cheap rate cab service for theatre break bookings. Half an hour away from the West End isn`t cheap in a London Black Cab which is why providing a service would make this hotel just that little better than all the rest if they offered something. All that aside the experience was amazing and I would certainly stay there again for future visits to London. A real beautiful spot. Thank you for a great visit. Mr T Childs

"Excellent Staff; extremely helpful and friendly."

My wife and I fully recommend this hotel. Close to Victoria station and within walking distance of several restaurants we would definitely stay again. The staff were excellent, their friendly approach and helpfulness really enhanced our stay.

"Great hotel, great facilities and decor wonderful. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. "

Would highly recommend even though rooms are on the small side, bathrooms are lovely and well fitted out. Has a nice bar area and was worth the cost for the night. Would return again without hesitation.

"Great base for London sightseeing"

Great location, only 15/20 minute walk from Victoria for overground, underground and buses. Friendly and helpful staff - they let us leave our luggage after checking out while we were sightseeing. High spec furnishings and immaculately clean. Most comfortable bed we`ve ever slept in! Recommended.

"Hotel room like a cupboard - Room 205"

The room was right next to the lift so you could hear every use. The bed seemed smaller than your usual double bed, the bathroom was too small and I hit my head on the top of the cubicle. The room itself was tiny . Overall we both got very little sleep.

"Very comfortable stay with pleasant staff"

Lovely hotel, room a tiny bit small but perfectly adequate, one minor observation was no mirror near to the plug socket. My wife had to keep running to the bathroom whilst drying her hair. Everything else was excellent.

"Good location and comfortable room but one or two drawbacks"

Well situated for the Victoria and Westminster areas. The reception areas were clean and attractive and the receptionist was helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was comfortable but only as a single. There was no room for a wardrobe just a couple of hangers. There was no information about the hotel or the area in the room and neither the remote control for the television nor the tv menu button worked. When I stayed there was no restaurant so I had to go out for a meal. It would have been good to have the option of eating in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable for one person but very cramped for two. The shower area was roomy and the shower easily adjusted. The television offered more channels than you often find in a hotel and also radio which I prefer. I liked the position and might give it another try next time I am in the area on business but wouldn`t stay there for a leisure trip.

"Great location and good value for money"

was a bit worried about going to this hotel as it was a very reasonable price that included breakfast! On arrival, which was short walk from Victoria bus station, checked in with polite and friendly staff. Room was very small but had everything we needed. (we were only planning to sleep there so room size not too important!) Only criticism was room was on the front, third floor, facing the street and there was a lot of traffic noise so had to keep the window shut during the night. Breakfast was continental and adequate. All-in-all enjoyed our stay. Was very convenient and would use this hotel again.

"New Zealanders stay in London"

We found Days Inn Hotel comfortable clean and a good location from the main attractions. The Hotel`s location is in an attractive London street. There was ample space in the hotel room for our luggage and good wardrobe space. We stayed for six nights so served us well. The breakfast was very good and the cost of the stay was not unreasonable.

Twin room adequate although small. Bathroom was extremely small and being elderly we found it very difficult to manouvre especially to use the toilet which was immediately next to the sink with very little space! However the main thing was that the rooms and linen were very clean, the staff were friendly and on the whole it was satisfactory.

"Clean, comfortable and affordable"

The hotel was clean, conmfortable, convenient and affordable. An easy walk from Pimlico station and on a direct bus route to theatre land. Staff very helpful. Yes bedrooms are small but how long do you spend in the room? Bathroom clean and showers hot. Breakfast fine, cereal, toast, fruit juice, yoghurt, cheese, croissant, and cooked if you wanted it. Food hot dining room clean, cafeteria style but no complaints. All in all a very pleasant stay.

"Welcoming helpful staff very clean room wonderful breakfast "

We have just returned from the Days Inn West and enjoyed the stay very much. The room was immaculate and had been thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were so friendly and professional and went out of their way to help with any enquiry we made. We upgraded on the breakfast for an extra £4 so we had the full English Breakfast which was excellent. the food was lovely and the dining room immaculate. The room was a little on the small size but due to the high ceilings it didn`t feel too cramped. The Contented Vine restaurant is within 10 mins walking distance and serves fabulous food has excellent service and a warm welcoming atmosphere which we would highly recommend.

"Pity the lift was not working! However, location, rooms and staff were great. "

Desk staff were absolutely helpful - not in any way intrusive or snooty, just pleasant and helpful. The rooms were fine and well serviced. The continental breakfast was just average. Some fresh fruit would have been better than the tinned variety but the really bad thing about the hotel during our visit was that the lift was not working. One of our party had recent surgery and trudging up the narrow stairs was a bit difficult for her. All in all though, we enjoyed our visit and would probably use Days again.

"Great location. Basic accommodation but clean"

No frills accommodation in a great area. Close to lots of good tourist attractions and transport. Top floor rooms have a terrible climb as there is no lift. Furnishings are worn and dated but it is clean and the beds are comfortable. I would stay again if I was on a small budget but I would prefer to pay a bit more for a bit of luxury

"Good Hotel"

The Days inn was comfortable the room being a reasonable size and the addition of an ironing board was very welcome. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and kept us going for most of the day.It was situated on a splendid bus route the number 24 which connected with many of the tourist attractions,we didnt need to use any other. What was a great down point was that it is a tall hotel, we where on the third floor and the lift was out of order during our stay with no apparent attempt to repair it .Even without cases it was quite a hard climb ,with our small case it was breathtaking but we saw some people with large cases really struggling the, stairs are quite narrow.

A comfortable hotel with friendly and efficient service. Only a couple of drawbacks: 1. Although it is a non-smoking hotel, some guests obviously don`t abide by the rule, as I could often smell stale cigarette smoke from neighbouring rooms. 2. As in some other hotels, they operate a system whereby the type of breakfast is linkled to the number of the room, so if your room is for a `continental breakfast`, you have to pay £4 extra for a cooked breakfast. There was no mention at all of cooked breakfasts at the online booking stage, and it leads to awkward scenes in the breakfast room as people help themselves to the wrong kind of food from the buffet. 3. There are notices in the bathrooms urging guests not to have their towels laundered every day for environmental reasons by putting them back on the rail for re-use, but they gave you fresh towels every day regardless of where you put them.

"Handy but noisy."

Very handy for Pimlico station. Right on the main road so quite noisy and the night we stayed we were next to a room where people seemed to be coming and going all night. Consequently hardly slept a wink. Breakfast OK, cooked breakfast £4 extra but not very hot. Could do better.

"Overall a pleasant place to stay & one we would use again."

Mattress was uncomfortable on first night; we moved to another room on 5th floor. Later, lift was not working so were given another room on ground floor. Hotel clean; attention is needed in some areas - ie some furniture & a worn iron flex. Location very good; staff helpful & friendly; continental breakfast provided plenty to choose from.

"A great hotel"

We stayed at the Days Inn Westminster for my husbands 40th. Following reading other reviews I was very anxious about the hotel. On arrival however the staff were very courteous and helpful and we found the room to be clean and amply big. The breakfast (continental) was as good as any other we have experienced and the staff were again very willing to replenish any items or source specific items (decaff coffee). We would definately stay here again. The hotel was central and suited our needs perfectly

We had a room on the 6th floor, the room was hot, no way to turn the AC on the windows limited to open by only 10 cm, there was no information in the room as to how to operate the AC. We had to ask for a remote control the following morning. The room itself was clean and adequate. The fire door on the 6th floor was wedged open on all three days we were there with packs of towels, an obvious fire hazard.
