Staff very helpful, the only problem was that the shower had very little pressure and virtually no hot water.
Great location great breakfast although no traditional black pudding!
An excellent hotel. Friendly service. Lovely bright, large room. Perfect location for The Royal Mile and all the Edinburgh attractions.....highly recommend it!
Jury`s inn, Edinburgh. Enjoyed a nice overnight stay at Jury`s Inn. Room was very clean, comfy bed and nice view of the city centre from the room. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast although sausages were a bit tasteless. A nice place to stay.
Sounded like someone was roller booting on a hard floor above us all night and day. Then in morning noisey radiator. hardly slept due to noises and to help the bed was small and creaky.
Clean, helpful staff, spacious rooms and excellent location.
Enjoyed the whole visit, from excellent reception, through superb room and good nights sleep to an enjoyable filling breakfast and seamless book-out. Will certainly visit again.
We were a party of 5 and wanted a hotel close to the centre of Edinburgh. This was perfect, within easy walking distance of all that we wanted. The rooms were together, very clean and well equipped. The staff were most welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will use it again, when I return to this great city.
would recommend
Great hotel, lovely staff and service. Brilliant location and lovely rooms. Only complaint is there was no white wine (bottles or draught) left in the restaurant/bar on Monday night. Seems unacceptable for a busy period in Scotland?!
Enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms with nice view. Good breakfast. Did think there should be access to free wifi in public areas even if only for limited times.
The TV was older than me and the lack of opportunity to watch films was disappointing. This is a definite benefit when there are children/teenagers who do not have access to the excellent nightlife in the area. As with most hotels, intenet access was expensive therefore we would never use it. We would have eaten in the restaurant but the lack of "plain food" options meant that we ate out instead. Breakfast was ok, if limited.
Breakfast signage could have been better. no where to put full tay to get cup of tea therefore needed a couple of trips to get all our breakfast items, didnt like toaster takes too long to get acutal toasted bread. But room was good and staff frendily and helpful.
Well worth the visit would recommend to other people.
Had a lovely stay...Hotel was easy to find, staff at reception were lovely and very helpful. Had no problems getting what I needed for the night.
Me and husband stay here feb 11. we would defo stay here again, The Jurys inn was central for all amenities. The room was spotless. with Tea making facilites and hairdrier. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and plenty off it. I would recommend going on the whiskey tasting tour was very good. enough though I dont like whiskey. If you like shopping the high strreet and the royal mile is a most, make sure you have got some good walking shoes. there are lots of shops.
Had a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. Hotel handy for station and shopping on Princes Street. Would stay again.
staff friendly, room comfortable, breakfast barely warm.
The Jurys Inn is located in the center of Edinburgh. Located just steps away from the Castle Mile, all the historical attractions and all transportation. The accomodations are comfortable and clean. The staff is well informed and friendly. Although the breakfast was good, I wish it could be varied every 3-4th day. If you had a special request they handled it without any question. Would stay again!
Bathroom was tired and the water wasn`t hot despite reporting it.
We only slept there for 1 night and did not use the hotel facilities. The room was perfectly adequate. Good value by Edinburgh standards.
