Great location...directly opposite bus station, 4 minute walk to train station. We ate in La Monde Cafe Bar excellent food and value for money. We paid 9 euro each for buffet style Irish breakfast...great choice and excellent food...cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, rolls, toast and cooked breakfast. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Car park 12.50 euro secure car park beside hotel. Very clean hotel cannot fault at all. Room spotless and everything you need.
The staff were very attentive and pleasant The food was really nice but was disappointed there were no fried eggs for breakfast! We thought the bed was pretty lumpy, not very comfortable
10 min. Walk from town centre, spacious rooms and friendly staff!
Just a few minutes walk from Temple Bar. Staff very friendly and can`t do enough for you.
Two night stay with my daughter was made extra special thanks to your staff and their helpfulness, thank you so much x
excellent staff,food(breakfast) room overall stay
only 2 critisisum are bedroom room no 302 window needs better sound proofing because you can hear trams all night. arrived at 07.15hrs would have been nice to be able to leave luggage until check in time. was told by staff member that hotel did not open until 11.00 hrs so come back later. other than these comment every thing very good and we would stay there again.
the best about this hotel apart from its great location were the reception staff, am only sorry i didnt get their names both male and female were really lovely, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, we were on the second floor, on the way upstairs the floors were very very creekie, i was looking forward to a good rest being away from a busy household, but at 2am in the morning awoke by the resident above snoring we couldnt beleive we heard him through the ceiling. At 7am resident woke and the noise of floorboards he was walking about drove us mad, hotel fully booked so couldnt of got another room any way. it did spoil our break. however if youve earplugs great place to stay, staff, location and food brillant, please who ever owns this place GET THE FLOORS FIXED IT IT REALLY IS BAD.
This hotel is in an excellent location, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean & tidy, would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Good to stay very near to bus stop and city center
We arrived back to the hotel about 10.30pm and were very disappointed we couldn`t get a drink, neither alcohol or non alcohol. I feel when staying in a hotel even though mid week the bar should be open to residents. Everything else lovely and comfortable and convenient.
Hotel rooms are ok however mt stay was not the bestroom on third floor to hot even though the heating was off had to sleep with window open very noisey due to trams ect them reception called at 1am asking if we had booked a wake up call or taxi had booked neither went for a shower next day no hot water so called reception who sent some one up checked it and then left with not a word what was happening in the end i went to reception and they changed the room at my request as well as that the guest info says that the bar is open until 2am for guests it was not and was closed when we came back ar 12.10am the breakfast is limited and scrambled eggs looked rotten on the plus side there was a very pleasent atmosphere and the rooms are not to bad i just had a bad experiance if your looking to be close to temple bar the your on the wrong side of the river although you ca get the tram then walk
The hotel was really nice and traditionally decorated! It was also very clean and very comfortable! It`s very close to O`Connell Street!
Not the most convenient location for anyone with a car.
Nice little hotel, Great location, helpful staff & excellent breakfast!! Great location for bus`s shuttle to airport!
Excellent location to Connolly station. Downstairs in hotel was really beautiful and finished very well. Bedrooms could have been finished better. Accommodation good, basic but good. Very noisy guests above us which took away from the experience. However, overall it was good.
Floors creak (a lot), doors bang during the night (a lot), internet access was very poor (slow), inadequate ventilation in the room (no air conditioning), TV channels limited (not too much of a problem) but picture quality poor, analogue TV. Staff friendly and willing and able to assist. Good transport links near hotel (Mainline rail, LUAS and bus)
Clean and comfortable Hotel , Great Value and Staff Really Helpful .
Enjoyed a three day break at the Beresford, using it as a base to explore Dublin. Friendly staff, good restaurant serving English and Contental breakfast, worth adding as an extra. Must do:- Bus tour, getting off to view the 1500 year old Kell Books at the University and the Guiness musuem. Very good value. Visit the bars and cafe`s just over Halfpenny Bridge on the river Liffey - eat an Irish Stew. Alternatively- one evening - try the hotel food - very good value
fab breakfast all anyone could wish for, very nice rooms and very clean.hotel nice and central great for tram which is good
Staff were very friendly and helpful, location was fantastic and overall really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and will be back for sure!
staff were the most polite and helpful our group met in ANY hotel ANYWHERE. hotel v clean and comfortable only minus was noise around 3am on the saturday morning otherwise no complaints
Good food, fairly basic but spacious rooms - nearby bus station is handy but a bit noisy at night time. Lovely helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay.
breakfast was really good lots to choose from. rooms were clean and modern and well decorated. staff were very friendly and helpful. would recommend it to anyone!
Good hotel the food was good the staff were great and a good location. Couldn`t have asked for more.
Rooms clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Nice Breakfast, excellent location
Located in a slightly seedy (but improving) end of old Dublin, this is an efficiently run, clean hotel. Position opposite a large police station is good for security. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Good value.
A nice hotel opposite the main bus station, which is perfect when leaving for the airport by bus. The hotel is clean and cosy. I deeply appreciated the help I got from the concierge when I asked to have our room changed. The allocated room wasn`t very nice and a bit small for a double. They moved us immediately to an available and much nicer room at no extra cost. I have stayed there several times (when it was called Hotel Isaacs) and always liked the service. Would recommend it.
good location , walking distance to Oconnoll street , Temple bar . Friendly staff , room clean and tidy. wonderful stay in Dublin .
the trams nearby were not a problem, but if you get the rooms above the youth hostel, you will hear them until 4 or 5 in the morning talking and singing, but otherwise good value and near the centre for walking around
We were looking for a convenient place to stay for a few days, and according to the write up Isaacs Hotel fit the bill perfectly and we weren`t disappointed. For us it represented good value for money, giving us a good sized room and all the usual conveniences, including a powerful shower despite being on the 3rd floor ! We were out and about so only really wanted a base and a place to sleep, we didn`t eat there but it smelt good. It proved to be a great location, just minutes walk from O`Connell shops, also pretty convenient for the centre, and the more distant places were easily accessed by the tram, with a stop just over the road. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the only down side for us: with the bus station, tram and trains all nearby we found the night time a bit noisy. There was a steady (mechanical/engine ?) hum that we`re not used to, but then we do live in the sticks ! However, the bed was lovely & comfortable and we both slept really well. We`d go again.
Great location. Good food and comfortable clean room.
First class stay right in the middle of Dublin at a very good price. The hotel is a little dated now but is clean and tidy. The rooms a little basic but all you need for a good stay with comfortable beds and a good shower!! Breakfast is an additional 10e and is buffet in style plenty to choose from and plenty to eat and I can recommend the sausages!! Staff as always were polite and very helpful. I would return to this hotel without hesitation
