very enjoyable stay. staff very friendly throughout hotel from restaurant staff to housekeeping. had no milk for babys bottle and lovely manager in gusto restaurant only to happy to give me bottle of warm milk free of charge. very impressed with service and room very clean.
Always enjoy staying here. Great location, friendly efficient staff, lovely atmosphere. Great location for journey home to SLigo. Shopping haven in LIffet VAley
We enjoyed our overnight immensely. lovely room ,great food, friendly and efficient staff. Thank you all.
Clean and we`ll presented rooms with very friendly and helpful stalff I`d happily recommend this hotel to others
Receptionist was very helpful in answering all our questions and was happy to change the bed from a double to two singles. Room was a good size, very clean, lovely bathroom. Would definitely recommend and stay with this hotel again.
General decor is 2 or 3 star standard at best. Bedrooms are a good standard. Breakfast very disappointing! Staff while pleasant and helpful were all non nationals - it would be nice if there some Irish employees.
The rooms were large, however, we asked for a quiet room and were driven mad by loud disco music till the early hours of the morning. Staff were efficient and facilities were clean. I enjoyed a swim in the pool but was disappointed that you needed to pay 3 Pounds for a swim hat. This was not mentioned on the web site.
We found the staff efficient but unfriendly and not very accomadating, poor wifi anywhere in the hotel. But my biggest issue was with the freezing cold swimming pool! We usually use the pool several times over of two day stay but even our son didn`t want to go back in again. The hotel is well layed out and the rooms are great but we missed having the hotel info pack in our rooms to let us know what services we`re available in the hotel.
Room cold, told reception, they said someone would check and bring a small heater. Key constantly failed which wouldn`t have been a problem if we weren`t nearly the furthest room from reception. Breakfast was ok but the hot food was warm. Children`s park was nice and the food in the Asian bar very good. Room clean and good size, guess we were his unlucky. Also had ti wait 45 mins for our room despite it being past check in time, not good when you`ve been travelling since 5am
This is the second time we have stayed here and would come back again . Staff are helpful and pleasant and rooms are very clean and we`ll decorated . Lovely hotel
Would consider going back, although it is quite far from the city centre. Pool was the attraction, loads of towels and swimming hat policy for all -despite the red head brat who constantly tried to break the rule. Pool attendant was a lovely girl who had the patience of a saint. Rooms were warm so was glad of the fan supplied. lack of information about the hotel in the room. Internet in the foyer ate my money and never connected yet. No problem about sleeping as our corridor was very quiet. handy for a couple of pubs with food and a shopping centre less than 5 minutes walk. marks out of 10? Prob 8
This was a busy hotl but staff were helpful, room was nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. I would come back.
Great room, breakfast and swimming pool, ideal for families. Public bus stop only ten minute walk which gets you into the city. For famillies I would recommend the irish house party in dublin a great place for irish music, good for famillies and also the gaelic games experience. All accessible from hotel by either public transport or taxi if you do not have a car.
We had a lovely family break at this hotel .. The pool and facilities etc are fantastic and the rooms were lovely and clean .. Will definatly stay again..
Enjoyed the pools and kid friendly areas. Bar menu was lacking in choice if you did not like noodles, kids menu was ok. But adults food was served first, kids food arrived 10minutes later. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast the following morning and it was perfect. Maybe we would have had better luck in the restaurant as we were very disappointed with the bar food.
The hotel car parking was very annoying when you drive in if there are no space you have to get out of the car and go validate the card for the car park and to charge 4 euros for over 3 hours specially on the site of this hotel which has a lot of car parking not like a city hotel. We do not have this problem up north. Some parts of the hotel not very clean ie furniture and seating. The pool is another hole issue go check into the pool give your room no, Leave 10 euros for deposit, sign in, get a code for the door into the changing room, keys on a arm band with a padlock for you locker jail wouldn`t have a look in. Good points restaurant food excellent and breakfast excellant.
We were met by a friendly receptionist who kindly upgraded us to the penthouse, which was just amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and overall the value for money and experience was so memorable! Thank you!
clean hotel with good customer service. However we had no sleep due to people shouting outside all night so the worst night ever. Room was quite a long walk from reception and there were no trollies or offers of assistance.
waited at reception ages wile trying to check in. Man was on phone. Mustve been 8mins!! then he explained everything very quickly, a foreign man so bit hard to understand. From what I gathered he said the pool opened at 6.30 to 9.30, we checked in at 5.30pm. Went up to room to settle in and freshen up. Put kettle on for cup of tea, not even a wee biscuit on the side!! The fridge was empty too, I assumed there`d be a mini bar, but nothing. Was only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for two people. went down to restaurant for dinner, got a curry and chow mein, both over priced and not very tasty! The curry was like water! Went to go for a swim, doors were locked, wasnt open late on a sunday! not made clear by the man at reception!!! the bed was so uncomfortable, worst nights sleep! This is the only hotel I know that charges you to park your car there when ur staying there, wat a rip off!! 4 star Hotel -I dont think so!!
An excellent hotel to enjoy a mini break!
no room temperature control, far too hot and it was only April, window didnt open enough to air the room, no AC and it was boiling in the room. Never stayed in a 4 star hotel you cant get the room temp right, surely a bare minimum of a 2 star hotel. i think they must have this complaint lots as there were fans in the rooms, which made little difference and were noisy. Would have scored excellent if not for this basic requirement for a good kip, which is quite high on my priorities.
Hotel was lovely. Staff were great. Will stay again. Only downside was the ?4 charge for guests to park in the underground carpark
I always stay in the Clarion when in Dublin. Hotel is well located, clean, modern, rooms are comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful. A great base to explore Dublin and reasonably priced. Easy access to shopping and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!
The staff were very friendly rooms where good was very disappointed in electrical appliance in the room the kettle wouldn`t work and took an hour to get another then the TV stopped working for an hour and then the kettle stopped again and was hard to get incontact with someone to fix it bit apart from that
Too warm, no bath, big stain on curtain, needed redecorating where some alterations were made. Two pillows should be provided. Doors in corridors should be slow-closing, people let them bang a lot disturbing guests.
