The staff were so helpful and enthusiatic. Lad in the bar was very diplomatic. Give him 10 out of 10. The rooms heating/air conditioning was a tad noisy but once switched off we slept a peaceful night. We can suggest that the room service menu is more visible (not in a drawer). Breakfast exceptional. Thank you.
great food high standard very attentive service loved it
Comfortable beds, tastefully furnished. The bathroom could do with better lighting for applying makeup, though.
The Bloomsbury is an ideal getaway hotel for London visitors. The staff are always courteous, always there to meet your needs, and the hotel and it`s facilities are second to none. Ideal location close to Oxford Street and Regent Street, and also ideal for the theater goer. All in all - 100% recommended.
Our bedroom was amazing and we both slept really well in the super comfy bed. Under floor heating in the bathroom was an excellent extra. There was an iPod dock, coffee machine and even an evening turn down service. Check in was efficient and easy and all staff from the concierge to the waiting staff were courteous and helpful. Our only (slight) issue was that breakfast wasn`t to our taste. There was a great choice and I had eggs benedict and my husband had a full English, but the eggs weren`t cooked well enough so the whites were, for want of a better word, still snotty. We didn`t complain because we were in a rush to get a train, but I`m sure if we had then it would have been resolved.
Excellent hotel with very helpful staff. Just around the corner from the theatre.
Hotel very good, but room too hot.
Only issues were had to wait 2 hours to be finally checked in 2 hours lost ! .also got woken early by decorators !
The room was spacious enough, very clean and bathroom had a good shower. Had all facilities could need tv tea coffee and think internet if needed. The hotel excellent location for thearre and restaurants. Not easy to get in the road due to one way system. Parlking was difficult so either use public transport or suffer hefty NCP charges across the road.
My partner and i visit London at least twice a month and have always stayed in nice comfortable hotels; however this one superceeded the others by quite someway. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The room was excellent, it had a few extra ameanties that other hotels do not offer, such as a proper hair dryer, an excellent coffee machine, bathrobes and a lot more. This hotel certainly dots all the I`s and crosses all the T`s, we will cetainly be back !! 10 out of 10. Ignore any negative comments you may read about this hotel in my option they are unjustified.
Lovely hotel. Great size room. Everywhere classy decor. Staff excellent. Perfect location.
really freindly staff, especially bar tender in the evening, who brought us a drink as we were celerbrating our 10th wedding anniversary..... The room was comfortable, everything was there that we needed, and little extras like stationary, note books etc. Would stay there again, Thank You
Lovely hotel, very accommodating staff, didn`t stay for breakfast as very expensive.
shower not very hot
Great place to stay right in among everything you need! Only grumble was the shower was not the best but the food, suroundings & staff more than made up for it!
Friendly , helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The staff are a credit to this company. , John the terrace manager deserves a special mention for his can do attitude and friendly smile
The room, facilities and friendly staff were all excellent. Although it did not affect our stay it would perhaps be better if guests were not told that check in is at 2pm when rooms are not available until 3pm. Regards, Keith
We stopped here for just two nights and didnt want to go home, we were treated like royals, i have a gluten/dairy intolerance and this hotel met my needs with no fuss. the staff couldnt do enough for us and were very friendly the room was lovely and towels changed regularly ,as soon as we used them they were replaced with clean ones the staff at this hotel really do do their best to please .10/10 in every way. thankyou for making our stay very enjoyable.x
We enjoyed our stay here, good location as it was easy to walk to soho, covent garden and oxford street, the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the service was excellent, our room was so quiet for a city hotel and our bed was very comfortable,we would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definately stay here again
From the moment you step inside it oozes luxury, the staff were polite, the rooms were immaculate, i couldnt ask for more!
Brilliant hotel I would stay again and would recommend it to friends and family to choose the Bloomsbury hotel.a1 *****
very comfortable room and lovely breakfast
Really friendly staff...top quality hotel very happy
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. But the lighting in the rooms is insufficient. No lights towards mirrors, made it ver difficult to see in both the room and bathroom.
Had a nice stay. Stayed here before when it was a Jurys and the changes to the public areas are good. The room we had was nicely decorated but small. We did have a problem with our first room as there was no hot water but we were moved to a new room promptly and the staff were apologetic and friendly. The room we were moved to was fine but smaller than the first room and we thought even that was small for what we paid. So, overall, good, not great hotel with friendly staff in a good location but poor value for money for the class of hotel and the location. You can get more for your money elsewhere.
The room we stayed in was excellent. No complaints at all. Would hope to visit the hotel again in the near future.
Superb welcome, beautifully clean, simple yet elegant rooms, overall the best hotel we have stayed at in London so far.
a very high standard hotel where all of the staff are so freindly and helpfull .the location is perfect for the west end theatres, covent garden and oxford st shopping all of which are in easy walking distance of the hotel. i would easily recommend the bloomsbury hotel to freinds and family.
could not have been better,
Very good hotel, staff friendly & helpful. Great location.
Location is excellent very close to tube stations and attractions. We have stayed at this hotel in the past (whilst it was a Jury`s Hotel), and we were slightly disappointed with the size of our room. It was very small but very well furnished and clean. As it was only a base for us while visiting London it was sufficient just felt a little cramped. Other than that a very nice place to stay and would recommend it to anyone.
Very comfortable and well appointed rooms decorated in a contemporary style. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London as the location is great for Covent Garden, Soho, Oxford Street etc.
We had 5 nights in this hotel - everything was excellent, we will be going back!
Beautiful Hotel situated very central to many of the main tourist attractions. Fifteen minute walk to the Houses of Parliament .The tube station is less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms very modern and the under floor heating is a nice touch in the bathroom, house keeping very prompt and efficient. We did not eat in the hotel as it is quite expensive. Plenty of local restaurants in the area that open early for breakfast and stay open late for dinner.I would highly recommended this hotel to stay in.
