Hotel and staff was good, but I did think as other rooms were available a complimentary upgrade would have been a nice touch rather than trying to charge an extra £20. If there were no rooms available then nothing you can do, but this would help in getting repeat business, in my humble opinion.

Thought the hotel was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms really nice - the downside is that we had to queue for breakfast in the morning. The hotel staff were very apologetic and a nice touch they handed out drinks whilst we were waiting. Overall found our stay really good - would definitely book into the again if visiting London.

Breakfast slow. Breakfast cold. Housekeeping knocking on door all the time, low quality hotel, expected a lot more for price paid. Only highlight was fantastic show.

Really enjoyed our night at the hotel, the staff couldn`t be more helpful, food was brilliant and nice bar to enjoy a cocktail or 2!

Loved the hotel, we were upgraded to a suite for free as our room wasn`t ready when we got there (we knew it wouldn`t be as the check in was 2pm and we got there at 12), we ordered breakfast in bed and it came at the exact time we order, cannot say enough nice things about this hotel.

The hotel overall was very clean and the staff were very attentive. The heating in our room was non existent, When we tried to increase the temperature all we got was cold air,the bedroom tv was also faulty.The breakfast was excellent.

On the 13th floor . The beds wasnt comfy atol the pillow was as thin as a bath mat and only get one each. The toilet set up mush need a pump or a compressor to circulate the water up that high and kicks in anytime a toliet is flushed and the noise of it is redicolous it keeps you awake . Just lying here in bed and someone else must be having a shower as ours has begun to leak. Will never be back

Too small for amount of guests and food undesirable

A few grievances, like difficulty operating the shower and difficulty lowering the room temperature - we felt too hot most of the time, but it was a good, well run hotel and breakfast was excellent.

Excellent facilities, lovely staff and very central location. Breakfast queue was a little long but the quality and variety of the food was fantastic.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was to die for with everything for all tastes. I will definately re-book this hotel

Good room, but breakfast was not great (no grilled tomatoes even though on the menu and no fried bread!!), had to queue a while to get seated, the restaurant is very small and cramped for the size of the hotel!!

Hotel was lovely but had absolutely no view

This trip was for my husbands 60th birthday. Booking in was good. Room was good. Tuesday walked the south bank to the Shard having booked a table in the hotel restaurant. Went to shower before dinner. No hot water. Notified reception. Went to dinner having not been able to shower. Went to dinner and were told there were 5 items on the menu not available. Ordered main courses. We`re then told they were not available. The soup turned up tepid and was sent back. By the time it returned my husband had finished his starter. Not impressed. Wednesday ready to return home, no hot water again. I cannot fault the staff in any way, they were exceptional. The restaurant did take £ 48 off the bill. Even so, for a four star, hotel it was not good

Rooms are small and no outside window, ours overlooked the canteen, giving the feeling of no light and dingy. The room was compact but did have a lot in it, like a fridge, tea making and a safe. I requested a twin room so I expect a gap between beds if I wanted to sleep that close I would have a double bed. The staff seem friendly and very polite. Very clean.

Best of all was the service from yourselves, Hotel Direct. Value - excellent. Service - excellent, will use you again and would recommend you Hotel good, breakfast excellent, staff friendly and helpful, hotel in good area for what we wanted to do. Our room was small, other than that everything at least good.

We were welcomed by check-in staff and given a complementary bottle of wine (my birthday). Room had niggles - which a little maintenance would fix. Breakfast had great choice but some improvements are required - The breakfast set-up could not cope, frequently running out of crockery resulting in warm cereal bowls & and glasses and dirty plates due to poor dishwashing. Fruit salad (my favourite) consisted almost entirely of melon with a few grapes and apple segments. The cereal was topped up each day and consisted of a great deal of cereal dust! Tea was weak and while-you-wait eggs though cooked well were too slow. Italian restaurant in the evening we found our choice had run out, the cooked meat and fish were ok but accompanying salad/ veg/ chips were not in keeping with our expectations. Service seemed slow and a discretionary service charge of 12.5% was added & subsequently refused. We were unaware of a two course for £15 voucher until we were about to leave (it was under papers).

The hotel was good, excellent breakfast and fantastic location all within walking distance of the sights of London. A great weekend.

Superior room was dark and claustrophobic. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the best sleep we`ve had in a hotel.

The Park Plaza staff really couldn`t do enough for us. From the moment we checked in the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great, ideal for exploring London in the day. We even tried the Italian restaurant and we had the best meal of the weekend there. Again, have and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you

Hotel was lovely. Upon checking in we were told that we could have a free upgrade to a suite! The room was fab! Extremely clean and included everything you could need. The ensuite was lovely, the shower was great! Breakfast was extremely tasty and although there was a large queue we weren`t waiting too long yo be seated! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel very good only one small problem, in that breakfast was very busy and we were asked to sit downstairs to eat our breakfast. This area was quite draughty with people going in and out of reception. Would return.
