pool staff members friendly and helpful room cold at night and duvet on fold down sofa quite thin- kids were cold. not very much milk for in-room drinks lighting not excellent no kids TV but we could get SKY sports- would rather have a choice kids TV saves lives... really! view fairly sad for that price would look elsewhere another time
Perfectly situated for many of the major sights. Friendly staff, particularly noticeable in such a large establishment.
hotel lovely but staff at reception rude and not helpfull ,lost our booking and then tried to charge us again ,eventually they got us a room only to find it was a twin not a double when we complained they replied they had run out of doubles ?
This hotel is a fantastic location for sight seeing and the west est end.The hotel is modern stylish and clean. The staff were all first class. Didn`t eat at the hotel as prices very high and £21 for breakfast just to much.
The only disappointing detail was the fact that the view from our window was poor. The hotel was fabulous and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.
excellent location and setting. Has that wow factor due to the amazing exterior and interior design of the hotel and rooms themselves. Will make it a regular visit even better than the HILTON chain of hotels.
Great location for visiting local sites of London - booked superior room which was nice and spacious, hotel staff very friendly and helpful especially as the weather was dreaful so the offer of umbrellas etc was much appreciated. Dining in hotel was expensive but lots of reasonable restaurants/cafes nearby, the hotel was happy to advise us where to go so no problem asking. Spa facilities were very good. All in all a very relaxing weekend in a nice modern hotel.
Overall had a very good stay, marred only by a few minor issues: long queue for check-in (Saturday lunchtime so understandably busy), then reservation could not be found on system - had to wait even longer - and then the two rooms booked together were on different floors using separate lifts, which was rather a nuisance. But actual rooms were very good and staff helpful.
The South Bank is a great starting point for much of the West End, with the advantage that you see the river everyday. The new Park Plaza is enormous, but this doesn`t detract from the comfort and convenience. Breakfast is expensive so opt for one of the many eateries next to the Royal Festival Hall instead, or take your own croissants and pop them in the microwave in your sweet little kitchenette.
Upon arrival the reception staff were very quick and efficient and despite being early we checked straight into our beautiful room. Even the lifts impressed us. Our stay was to celebrate my partners birthday and we would return with without shadow of a doubt!
Amazing hotel, staff were helpfull, courteous and knowledgeable would highly recomend to everyone
Very quiet, staff very helpful , friendly and considerate. Thank you for making our short stay so easy. We also enjoyed the lunch in the Italian restaurant on the ground floor. I would recommend it highly......hope to return soon
We were extremely pleased with the service from the reception staff and everyone at the hotel, the room was excellent and the whole hotel was amazing feel really blessed to have picked the hotel, great location as well, the in room meals were very reasonable unlike other hotels we have stayed at.
If arriving at Waterloo it was great to leave suitcase and then head into town. Very close to Houses of Parliament - could see Big Ben from window! So very close to all that London has to offer. We walked back from Piccadilly at night. Hotel very clean and modern. Incredibly polite and courteous staff. Bar was lively and exciting. Did not eat in but plenty of places locally. A great place to stay.
Lovely hotel but shame breakfast could not be included. We had a studio which means the sofa is pulled out to become a double bed which was fine but we had to contact reception to get the bed linen and then make up the bed ourselves.
Loved the Executive Lounge. The Service was impecable.
We booked a studio for 2 adults and 2 children and were expecting to get the usual shoebox of a London hotel room, but in fact this was more of a suite, the children had a separate room with a metal-framed fold out sofa bed that was really comfortable, and their own TV! The main bedroom was also far more spacious than many more expensive London hotels and had a 6ft-wide bed and all the usual extras. Everything was beautifully clean including the large bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Hotel facilities were excellent, especially the pool, sauna and steam room (free!). Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!!
Booked Studio for 2 adults and 2 kids, it was fantastic. Room was really modern, staff were pleasant and helpful.
Excellent value on last minute booking. Breakfast a little expensive
Helpfull staff, wonderfull rooms, good food..what else can you ask for? perhaps the cost was a little high Dr J Berloth
Excellent facilities, prompt staff and great choice of services. Close to Waterloo station and the main tourist areas around the London eye. Will use again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the studio room was perfect for a family of four. The rooms are quiet and have everything you need including iron and hairdryer! The location is excellent, only two minutes walk to Waterloo station or west minster bridge and you are set to go anywhere in London. Loved it, we will definitely come back and recommend to everyone we know!
The price is all right, bathroom is clean, the room is nice. Just one thing need to improve is the airconditioner, that was only cold air, too cold in the room. Anyway I was enjoy the living.
Immaculate, new hotel. Family room was excellent. Food excellent. Very welcoming for families and pool great for kids. Service always friendly and effcicient. Location, perfect for sightseeing. Have stayed in many hotels in London and this is my favourite, particularly for a family stay.
On the deal we obtained this hotel offers really good value for money in a central London location. The staff are helpful and friendly, the studio rooms are large, quiet and comfortable (and big enough for a family of four), there is a good swimming pool and the bill was affordable.
Cleanliness was spot on.
This is a very excellent hotel providing a central location to the he rest of the city. It`s new, the environment is modern, and its 2 minutes away from the Thames. Ideal for both business and family. Very quick response from staff. I enjoyed it.
Ordered two twin rooms. They were in fact, two rooms each with a pull-out bed, and we had to call housekeeping to get them made up. We don`t think that a pull-out bed is the standard for that kind of high price hotel. Carpet was dirty near the window and needed cleaning. Pool not yet ready (why don`t they say this on the web-site? Staff were excellent.
Food very well presented and service excelent !
really like the room, lots of space and very practical... fantastic situation in the centre of london. However we were awake at 9 oclock by one member of staff who ask us if we needed a sofa bed...then at 9:30 an other person open the door after knocking at our door for 2 minutes and apologise straight away...i did not realise straight away what they wanted from us but I was not very pleased as we could lhave slept a lot more...
Really nice, helpful staff, great location for waterloo and central london eg shopping! big room, nice facilities
My lasting memory of this hotel will be the fact that we were initially given the wrong room. Having booked a room with an Atrium (foyer) view, we were initially given one with a view of what may as well have been a brick wall. Our time on arrival was limited as it was as we had to get ready for a theatre show and the last thing we needed was the inconvenience of being allocated a new room. On booking out I asked the manageress for an explanation. 2 weeks later, I`m still waiting.
