Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms a little small but clean and comfortable.
Very good Hotel and breakfast but no hair dryer in room.
Hotel is in an excellent situation for ease of travel around central London. Facilities excellent .Staff are courteous friendly and helpful. Dining facilities in Chilli and Sage were excellent with a good choice of reasonably priced evening meals. Breakfast provided a varied choice and was managed in a competent manner reducing the queue efficiently Room small but ideal as a base
In dire need of redecoration , coat of paint & some new carpets . Ate in Hudson`s , pre theatre menu. Tariff in bedroom stated£9.99 fir 2 courses plus a glass of wine = £12.99 . Menu in restaurant was &12.99 no drink ? . Food ok but we had a vegetable curry which consisted mainly of potato & courgette not much more But good location and unfortunately at this time there are roadworks which means drilling at 0800hrs
Room was very small and compact but idea for an overnight stay. Tea and Coffee making facilities need changing as tea and coffee station is one end of the room and the plug socket for the kettle is the other so not a very well planned room set up.
Close to the theatres and walking distance of most areas. Breakfast is a really good choice of continental, cold & hot buffet and a full English. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff very welcoming and approachable
The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was wonderful and the hotel was situated in a central area, it was a good base for our visit
Great location, helpful staff and good breakfast, all make this a really nice place to stay in London.
Perfect hotel for theatre/ trip to London. Great value and location
Excellent location for shopping, attractions. Rooms small basic.can be quite noisy. Comfy bed. Good choice breakfast but disappointing due to the fact the cooked breakfast was only warm on both mornings we stayed. Ok for a short stay of 2 days/nights
Great location. Clean and friendly staff but terrible beds that badly need replacing.
Rooms were small but very clean. Staff were helpful and nothing was a problem
Very helpful and friendly staff nothing to much if you need anything. Will be staying next time I`m in London.hotel in good location for shopping or theatres
First impressions were not good with roadworks outside the hotel, and it got worse. First room we were offered had a horrible sweaty smell, and was extremely small, and not like the room shown on the website. Complained & was given another room. This was only marginally better, but very tired and dirty. Thick dust on top of furniture, sink very slow to drain, TV small. Seating area in front of breakfast room in need of replacement - stained & ripped. USB sockets in this area did not charge phones, & need replacement. Breakfast buffet chaotic, although food OK. I will be staying at Premier Inns from now on, as they are far superior.
A great location . Good breakfast. Would stay again
Clean room good choice at breakfast handy restaurant for evening meal
Very convenient location near to the Motown Musical, the food at the Hudson pre-theatre meal was absolutely delicious and great value for money. We had mussels and chips and burger and chips with the mayonnaise and ketchup an added bonus followed by eton mess which was one of the best I have ever had. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful as well with our baggage. We even got a phone call once we had settled into our room to make sure we were happy. The buffet breakfast was good value, although the hot foods were possibly slightly overcooked however, we did come down late. Regardless and that aside would definitely come again!
The lamp on the table was very hot. It had burnt the wooden panel behind. Needs sorting out.
St. Giles hotel is a very clean and friendly hotel. Very central which is so easy to get to different places and a 3 min walk to the underground. I might add the breakfast was also very good.
Room basic breakfast canteen style basic staff unfriendly would not recommend
Friendly service
Room very small had to queue for breakfast give room number only to be told it wasn`t our room as it was a single room eventually admitted .
Hotel just right for what we wanted near to theatre land staff friendly and helpful Bath a small breakfast 127859; was good
Third visit, and wouldn`t stay anywhere else in theatre land. Have tried many other "theatre weekend hotels" and this by far outweighs the others. Location, service, room facilities ? can`t be beaten.
Hotel is very well situated for visiting all the main attractions. It is a hop, step and a jump from Tottenham Court Road metro station. There was plenty of variety for breakfast, cooked, continental and cereals were plentiful. Although fresh fruit was limited, it was also available.
The hotel was great , nice & friendly staff , room was lovely and clean. The choice of bars and food was really good. The only thing I would of appreciated is an actual tea spoon to make my crew in the room
Room, though small, was clean & comfortable. Staff helpful & friendly. It was very busy so it was pandemonium in public areas at times & breakfast involved queuing for around 5 minutes.
Excellent
Perfect for a night stay
The room isn`t that big but big enough because when you`re in London you don`t spend much time in the hotel room. The service was great!
Very small twin room and bathroom. The room was hot and stuffy, but with the window open the noise from outside made it impossible to sleep. Very small bathroom towels. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing more.
The lifts didn`t seem to be working. We got fed up of the very long wait and used the stairs instead, but not everyone can do that. On Thursday evening, quite late, we were at the hotel bar and there was a drunk girl knocking over stools and being generally loud and obnoxious. After a while we realised that she was an employee as she walked behind the bar and was talking to the bar staff. We thought her behaviour was inappropriate.
Friendly staff and lovely room. Close to theatre
