Really good location, very good sized room. Well decorated and good facilities. Would definatley stay there again in the future. Best hotel room so far!

The hotel is in a good location, close to the Royal Mile. It is a modern design and the room had nice furniture and fittings. It had a large bathroom with a powerfull shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and they offer a good choice at the buffet breakfast. We would definitely like to come again.

Minor problems: shower head was prone to tipping down due to worn holder, had to hold in place with one hand. Breakfast was a bit average, uninspiring choice of cereals, fruit choice was weak. Very nicely decorated and maintained, prices very reasonable.

Ten Hill Place was great. 5 minutes walk from the Royal mile, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The hotel was very modern with all the facilities you need for a weekend break. We had a superior double which was one of the largest hotel rooms that we have ever had. It was perfect for a weekend away doing touristy things as there was plenty of room to come back in an chill out on the chairs and chaise long whenever we wanted a rest, without feeling trapped and confined to a hotel room. Definitely recommend and definitely would return.

Excellent value for money. Lovely, modern, very clean and quiet room. Efficient reception and good breakfast. No mini bar though!

we have stayed at this hotel now on a number of occasions but have found that our room each time we have visited has been smaller than the previous visit. however we really have enjoyed our stay. and the breakfast was very good too

romm tended to be cold (single glazing) and the air con noisy but confortable staff friendly and helpful breakfast excellent but cann`t make porridge!!

I have stayed in many hotels in Edinburgh and this Hotel is up there with the best.

Had a lovely stay in hotel. Only one fault. We could hear other peoples toilet flushing very loudly through the night. Other than that the rooms, service and food was lovely. Would defo stay there again

Really nice cosy hotel, rooms etc very clean and staff were nothing but warm and friendly from the very first greeting. Very nice breakfast also. Would stay at this hotel again and would reccomend to any other visitors to the city.

Best value! Maybe could have 2 computer terminals in foyer with internet access for those who don`t bring lap tops

10 /15 minute walk to waverly station,princes street. The only downside we found was the buffet breakfast was warm .

Excellent three night stay. Great breakfast, clean room and friendly staff. Hotel in student area and about ten minutes walk from Castle and Princes Street. Also good restaurants only minutes away. The only downside is parking which costs about £13 per day including Hotel discount, and is about 8 minutes walk away. (NCP )

One small comment it would have been nice to see some smoked fish on the breakfast menu.

Good location, off the main Road (Nicholson Street). The room was very clean and well-furnished, with an extremely comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was excellent. Although not a full-blown restaurant, there was a range of meals available in the evening in the bar area, but there are many eating places nearby. Overall, the standard of this hotel is much nearer four star then three. We would definitely book it again if revisiting Edinburgh.

Stayed at the hotel in August 2008. Good central location - not too noisy at night. Modern hotel. Room was very clean. Staff very helpful. Small breakfast area which meant had to wait for a table on the Sunday for about 20 minutes. Would definately stay again.

Beautiful Hotel. Spacious bedroom , and well appointed bathroom. Very polite and helpful staff. Hotel is very handy, and situated near all the attractions. Will happily return.

room very comfortable with attractive modern decor. Only problem was in bathroom ,unable to turn on taps for bath or shower without standing in the bath. breakfast was excellent, staff very obliging and would recommend this hotel very highly.
