Very helpful reception staff, they helped me store a large item on the ground floor so I did not have to carry it up to my room and booked taxis when required. Nothing was to much trouble. Good tidy clean rooms
very nice and clean hotel. we paid 8.50 euros for breakfast which was well woth the money and set us up for the day. staff very helpful at all times.
lovely hotel, staff very helpful and friendly, would go again
The room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our mid week stay. The casino across the road could be noisy late at night at the weekend. The meal deal was good value for money
very friendly staff, good location at the top of o`connell St. Decor a little "tired" however room was clean & probably the mosy comfy bed we`ve ever slept in!!
ideal location for city centre , quiet , downside all staff should be trained to acknowledge guests otherwise good for shortstay hotel .
During our stay, the staff were very helpful and the room was in very good condition. Definitely value for money. Thank you.
had a slight problem with one of the bills from resturant which couldnt be resolved by the time we left so we are out of pocket by 34euro because no one could find out how they got the bills mixed up and they blamed the new lad that was not there when we left
Great hotel for the money we paid.. the hotel is a little out of the way as we spent the majority of our time in Temple Bar but overall we were very happy!
good hotel close to everything, bus route at the door, lovely cafe at the end of the road if you miss breakfact... would recommend to anyone.. live band on Fri and Sat night..good fun..
Very clean ,food excellent , great location ,staff extremly helpful ,we had to go to a function on Sat nite and the 2 guys behind the bar got us fed very quickly , well done guys and thanks again look forward ro the next visit
I stayed with my friend for her birthday and had brill time. The room had four single beds in it and still loads of room. Bathroom was very clean and again great size.We had the meal deal which was excellent value- two course dinner with glass of reli nice white wine and breakfast this morning all for 20 euros. Defo booking to go back again very soon
No complaints as such. Room was fine. Did not use bar or restaurant facilities.
Arrived really late at night, but night porter came straight to the door and let us in. He was very friendly and our room key was all organised and ready for us. He explained how to get through the doors and exactly wher our room was. We arrived at out room (42) which had 2 double beds and a sinlge, for only 2 of us, we could have had a different bed each night. The room was at the back so it was nice and quiet. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The room had tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer. The only down side was breakfast in the morning, think 8 Euros was a bit much for what was on offer. But I would definately stay there again if I was to go back to Dublin.
Room a bit small and only 1 bedside lamp but otherwise adequate for the money. Breakfast was also good and value for money.
Generally very good. Staff efficient if not overly-friendly. Room was generally clean enough although the shower was a bit grubby. Food at night very good and breakfast excellent. Reasonably cheap hotel so good value for money and within walking distance of everything you want to do in Dublin. Would recommend to friends and would use again.
WE BOOKED IN AND WHERE HANDED THE KEY TO ROOM NUMBER 140,WE WENT INTO THIS ROOM AND FOUND THE BATHROOM IN A DREADFUL STATE,HAIR IN THE BATH AND ON THE TOILET ,STAINS ON THE BEDDING,BEDSIDE TABLE BROKEN JUST NOT VERY GOOD AT ALL,WENT BACK AND THEY GAVE US ANOTHER ROOM,NUMBER 145,THE BATHROOM WAS NOT MUCH BETTER,THE SHOWER CURTAIN WAS VERY DIRTY AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, AND THE WHOLE SHOWER NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN,I AM NOT A FUSSY PERSON BUT THE TWO THINGS ON THE TOP OF MY LIST IN A HOTEL ARE, CLEAN SHEETS AND A CLEAN SHOWER,MOST OTHER THINGS I CAN PUT UP WITH.
The room was very clean and quiet (apart from next door`s air vent) and, at ?115, reasonably priced (about the only thing in Dublin that was.) The staff were all extremely helpful, polite and cheery. Our door didn`t lock properly, but was fixed in a jiffy and valuables put in the hotel safe (the ones in the rooms don`t work evidently). Don`t bother about breakfast, go to Panem on Lower Ormond Quay for some pastries made in front of your eyes or the Art of Cha on Essex Street for a full Irish (exactly the same as a full English, but they`re hardly going to call it that are they?) and an excellent cup of tea. I`d definitely go back again.
This room was booked on a special offer and even then i thought slightly overpriced!! The beds were adaquate but the bathroom was dirty and a new shower tap had been installed but excess grout had been left makin the whole thing look untidy, there was paper hanging off the walls and ceilings in the main stairwell caused by damp and the carpet was filthy but i must admit the staff were a credit and very helpful
Rooms comfy but basic in need of a new lick of paint, staff not overly outgoing to help, couldn`t check in untill 3pm however they looked after our bags untill the rooms was ready.
Great value hotel, just need to make sure all amenities work on available rooms
Comfortable, clean and spacious and staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Breakfast & meals available with good bar. Rooms clean but needed a coat of paint/polish here and there! Would return as conveniently located to centre.
brilliant hotel, fab city centre location, very clean. hotel staff very helpful, highly reccommended and would definateley stay again, thank you
The hotel is at a good location, abot 15 minutes walk from the centre. We did encounter some problems when we were checking in; at the time of booking I was advised that check in time is 2pm, yet on arriving at the hotel at 3pm we were told that our room is not ready and we can wait at the lobby. The delay was of over half an hour. I would have at least expected a complimentary drink seeing that they were an hour and a half late for our check in. Room was average, however we were awakened at around 7:30 on saturday morning by work being done on the hotel facade.
Clean, comfortable room. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good. No complaints at all!
Stayed in the Belvedere Hotel Dublin for 3 nights. The receptionist was pleasant when we arrived and was helpful. The room was very large with although could have done with a lick of paint. The bed was very comfortable and clean towels every day. Was surprised to find a bath in the bathroom which was much appreiated with a shower over the bath. Nice to have choice. Some noise from outside, but there again when staying in a city you expect some! I would definately use this hotel again and would recomend it to friends.
I would stay here again for a comfortable hotel at a reasonable rate in City Centre location. Reception friendly and helpful.
A little mould on the shower curtain and window. Nets could do with a wash!
Comfortable and clean (linen changed every day). Air conditioning wouldn`t go amiss but good location.
