Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, all facilities that we needed. No air con but fan available in room
Room quite small with a horrible smell in bathroom at night, only stayed one night so we could see a show
Only negative would be that the room was a little small but even so it had plenty of room. Bed pretty comfy and although no air conditioning there was a fan provided. Was my wife`s birthday and the hotel provided a free welcome drink and even through in breakfast for us both. An excellent breakfast it was too!. Location was very good too, close to Russell square and walking distance in about 10 mins from the theatre.
Safe door in wardrobe needs sorting. Stays open consequently bang leg on it. Toilet brush!!!
Staff pleasantly helpful but hotel could do with air conditioning instead of having the fan noise going on all the time.
Good hotel in a good location, room was a bit on the warm side but not alot they could do about that, hotel staff very friendly and polite and nothing was to much trouble, would recomend and will probably stay there again.
Got to the room in the evening to find a fan on and window slightly open. The window wouldn`t open fully but was quite noisy as there were restaurants and a pub just below. It was so hot and noisy . I was so annoyed as i had already rang the hotel to ask if they had ac in the rooms and i got told yes. I also asked for a quiet room too but request was ignored. The following morning I complained that the room was boiling and i said i got told that the rooms were air conditioned. The man on reception said you must have rang a different thistle ! I wasn`t impressed. I also said the room request was ignored as it was noisy. The lady behind the counter apologised and the man said he would look into moving us. They had allocated us another later on. The room was dark, very small and hotter than the other one. The next morning i got asked by the reception staff if the room was ok. I didnt have the energy to say it was even worse so just said was ok.
Location was good but considering the the decor I would have expected air conditioning. The room was just too hot to sleep
We really loved the bloomsbury and would highly recommend it as a comfortable peaceful friendly place to stay
Bar staff did not seem to know what they were doing, or perhaps their English was not good. A basic like lemonade not stocked. Had no idea what an Irish Coffee was!
What I expected from a chain hotel but were it not for being our anniversary a bit too pricy especially having to pay extra for breakfast.
Great little hotel room was small but clean with everything you need and close to everything you want or need
Good location, very friendly staff.
Clean and pleasant with a good location for visiting London. Great little Italian restaurant just around the corner
V Good. Friendly staff. Enjoyable.
Lovely hotel hard working staff only issue rooms hot could do with air con would stay again for a few days if in london in the future .
Friendly staff, lovely clean room and great location
Lovely clean room Friendly polite staff Great central location
we were pleased to be able to get into our rooms at 12.30. The hotel is within walking distance from Euston and also the other major attractions. As we had great weather we did not use public transport and were therefore able to appreciate all the different parks and attractions. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and places nearby for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. On our last day our return train home was at 18.30 but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel which was very helpful.
Great location close to Euston and heaters. Comfortable with. Efficient and friendly staff. We had a room with noisy floorboards and creaking bathroom door, but otherwise very good
Booked a king size room which had a lovely big 6ft bed (2 singles together), nice size room with en-suite and even a table and sofa! Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers, loved the electric fan, iron and ironing board in the wardrobe we thought it was a nice touch. It even had a safe. Lovely big TV on the wall tea/coffee facilities which were all topped up on arrival and the next day. Great staff cannot fault the hotel at all
Very clean
Great location and really nice hotel. Beds are so comfy and room was really clean. Will be booking again in the summer.
Hotel was functional and rooms ok, but noisy neighbours that kept me awake until just gone 2am and occasionally could hear the night tube running under the hotel. The restaurant was very over priced for what they had on the menu. They had no cider in stock and had to check whether they had the beer battered cod and chips and portions were average.
Loud banging above our room and floor boards need check
Good breakfast, comfortable rooms and great location for the show we went to see
The hotel was idea for walking to the shows or shopping in Oxford street only 20 minutes stroll, the hotel was very clean and checking out was at 12 noon which was a bonus would book there again highly recommend
Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Room had everything I needed. Next time I`m in London, I shall more than likely book here.
Fantastic location for the West End and lovely hotel. We had mentioned on the booking form 8t was our anniversary and were absolutely delighted that we had a room upgrade and lovely treats in our room - made to feel very welcome indeed. Would highly recommend as a very good 3 star hotel and would stay again.
The hotel was as expected, a little jaded, room was fine apart from no air conditioning and too noisy to have the window open. It was exceptionally hot for April though. Breakfast optional at £12 so decided to eat out.
Fab location basic needs met . Clean and comfy bed . Iron hairdryer suppplied . Bar was pricey £7 for small bottle cider (but I could be out of touch )
Room 217 (rear of hotel) was comfortable but lacking in electrical power points, a little dark and there was a fair amount of noise from outside, gushing water and loud banging noises. Otherwise all was of a good standard.
Pleasant and efficient staff, comfortable room and a convenient position close to many attractions and theatres. Many thanks also to the breakfast staff who remembered it was my wife`s birthday.
