"Basic, good value & a good base for the city,"

Nice staff, quick check in. Residents bar closes pretty early but very pleasant.Room was nice, clean, but alot of noise from large fans outside the room & with no way to control the room temp ithe window had to stay opened. Shower was tiny & wasn`t fond of a shower curtain sticking to me as I tried to wash.Location is excellent & the price is right.

"Dublin at its best"

A very good overall standard. I have stayed here before. Some staff remembered me from 4 years ago. Food was excellent, staff very helpful, room cleaned and tidy every day. Average prices for drinks, entertainment was First class well worth seeing. Worth every Euro.Central location, very close for buses and local trains. I even met the Owner.

"Good bar/nightclub!"

The rooms were basic and a little disappointing. The hot tap in the bathroom didn`t work but was fixed promptly. The toilet needed flushing a few times to clear toilet roll. The main light in the room didn`t work. The room we were in was at the back and when looking out of the window there was a burnt out building opposite. The noise from the alleyway at the back was quite bad. There were large bins rattling along and it seems this was a noisy smoke area. On the plus side the staff were very friendly, there was a good atmosphere and the bar and downstairs nightclub made the stay for us. The location is good and we ate one meal there which was average. It`s a shame the rooms are a little bit of a let down!

"Good loction but noisy"

This is a great hotel location-wise, right by the river and just a short walk from buses to and from the airport. The room was okay but our double bed was two single beds pushed together. The main downside to Arlington O`Connell is the noise - the bottom floor contains the Cougar Club, which at the weekend was belting out `80s music at an incredible volume until early in the morning. Shutting the window made very little difference to the thumping bass so be warned. If you can get a discount it`s probably worth it for the location but I`ll be looking for a different hotel next time I`m in Dublin.

"Great hotel, excellent location, lively but noisy!"

My partner and i stayed in the hotel over the weekend and had an excellent time! Perfect location, bar down stairs is very lively - irish music and dancing everynight with a great priced 3 course meal. Good food - dinner & breakfast. Great bar, service, reception. SHuttle to and from the airport is a good deal!! oNLY bad point was on the saturday night it was very noisy until about 2am but then fine..

"Fantastic atmosphere for Rugby weekend"

The staff were very helpful during our stay, in spite of them being under pressure due to how busy the hotel was over the weekend of the Ireland v Scotland 6 Nations Rugby international

Position very central for city ammenities.Room standard very good. Some noise from entertainment but this is acceptable as this is one of the plus points for this hotel, the genuine Irish music and dancing. Additional security for lift use an excellent idea and staff very friendly.

"Would Stay Again"

The arlington hotel was a great stay, they had there own resturant, night club/bar, and breakfast and cavery section. The only problem if there was one to state was that the music does go on till the early morning i think it was about one o clock and depending where you are you can hear it, however if your not a light sleeper you should be fine. It is located 5 minutes away from the coach station / bus station and is in the centre of dublin with a 5 minute walk to both o connel street and temple barr(dublins main attractions) Would use this hotel again really did not have a problem there!!!

"The hotel frontage was somewhat misleading, but once inside the rooms were of a good standard "

The ground floor bar facilities were excellent and the entertainment provided most enjoyable. Unfortunately the hot breakfast was found to be wanting and better to eat out.

"depends what you want"

Well i had one of the best times ever when i stayed in the arlington hotel. Not a place to take the wife if you are married. but definatly a place to go with the lads or the girls. great entertainment fantastic pub in house and fantastic nightclub in house. Great freindly atmosphere apart from the odd nuggert who decided i am responsable for what happened 600 yrs ago. Rooms not the best but location and overall enjoyment fantastic. thanks to all staff and freindly locals.
