The hotel was amazing - we thought it was the best hotel we stayed in and we will definately be going back. The views and decor were fantastic and the staff very helpful

Lovely place to stay

We had a lovely stay in this very smart hotel , with our room having views of the "Gherkin", free wi-fi in room and a very smart Imac as computer/TV etc, all the staff we had dealings with from our greeting by the concierge and our check in with the reception staff were very helpful and pleasant, the rooms are modern and comfortable and we were given a complimentary bottle of wine with a basket of fruit which was a very nice touch on our anniversary, the bathroom only had a shower - no bath - though this was perfectly fine for us, we did not use the restaurant so can not make comment - we would highly recommend a stay at this stylish hotel due to it`s great position 2 mins from Tower hill tube station and being so close to Tower bridge, Tower of London, shakespeare`s globe and other attractions all within easy walking distance a very enjoyable stay - will be going back again. (stayed 08/06 - 10/06)

Excellent location, spotlessly clean, helpful staff only problem was breakfast had to wait a while for the waiter to bring coffee then had to wait for clean bowls to be brought out from the kitchen. Otherwise wonderful.

Super location to attractions and restaurants/bars on both banks of the Thames. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast out off this world no request was a problem. Already tried to book the same hotel upon my return home but date required unavailable.

Enjoyed our recent stay at the Mint Tower. The hotel was very quiet and in an excellent location. Although our room was somewhat small, it was very well laid out and functional. The front desk staff was very helpful in making dinner reservations and helping us in navigating the city. I would highly recommend the hotel to others.

Really nice hotel! I wish we had spent more time eating at the hotel and sitting in the sky lounge but there was so much to do we didnt get chance. I would definatly go back! It was our 1st anniversary so we were offered 2X jugs of Pimms to celebrate!

We loved this hotel. The service was super, It is bright, modern and in a great location. We will definitely return to this hotel when next in London.

Fantastic value for money, modern, spotless, staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. 300m from nearest tube station and about 500m from The Tower of London. Will definitely use again, in fact have booked for Leeds and am thinking about booking Amsterdam.

We stayed at the Mint hotel for two nights. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds especially! Beautifully clean & modern shower rooms with power showers & mist free mirrors. We had continental breakfast included in our rate & there was always plenty to eat. There was some queueing for breakfast, but it didn`t take long to go down. The Skylounge is worth a visit for the view, but be prepared to take a mortgage out to pay for the drinks! Just 2 minutes walk from Tower Hill tube & 5 minutes from Aldgate so perfect for getting out & about. Locally to the hotel there were plenty of bars & restaurants too. Would definitely use this hotel again.

hotel absolutey lovely and the bathroom immaculate, however, staff in the dining room seem badly trained. we were sat next to tables with dirty dishes on and we were not asked what we wanted specifically on our full english breakfast so it was just overloaded with everything. on the friday night we walked out of the skyline lounge because the staff were ignoring us stood at the bar. they seem more bothered about sorting out till receipts and it was embarrassing in the end. lovely hotel but we left incredibly disappointed with the service we got and I am afraid we will certainly not be recommending it for this reason.

Easy check-in and friendly reception staff. Able to get to our rooms well before usual check-in time. Room very clean but only a shower in bathroom. It was fine for me but my husband prefers a bath. Breakfast was good but had to get up a little early to avoid the long queue. Staff friendly and helpful throughout stay. Overall an enjoyable experience and would certainly stay again.

Only two minor criticisms. The square wash basins in the en-suites may be fasionable, but are not really practical. The queues for breakfast may be unavoidable when the hotel is full, but are not the ideal start to the day, Nevertheless, a truly enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Our stay was more than i could of hoped for,the room was excellent,the staff were very helpful ,the position to the attractions was fantastic and overall very very good.I will be coming back to stay in the near future and will recommend it to everyone i know.

A well appointed hotel, excellent mid-range value in a super location.

Nice hotel and great roof bar, reception staff who checked us in very courteous and helpful but nightmare that night when we discovered the toilet in our room was blocked and took over an hour to get us moved. Night reception staff completely incompetent, didn`t return calls and I had to go down and sort out the keys to our new room, 3 or 4 staff standing around griping about work issues when I did - completely unprofessional. We were moved from a twin (expressly requested) to a double but too fed up and tired to ask for another room. Big queue for table at breakfast the next morning.

Brilliant hotel in a great location. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would definitely use this hotel next time. I`m in London.

Quality Hotel in great location close to Tube (2mins walk). Staff were excellent . Bar on 12th floor has fantastic views over London.

i could not say one bad thing about the Mint.Service is immpecable, all the staff are so polite, friendly and helpful.The Sky Lounge is the most beautiful place i have sat and had a drink in!

My friends and I stayed at the Mint for a girly London weekend and we loved it. It was right next to the tube station and really central for all our going out needs! The rooms were spacious with minimalistic decor, beds were comfy and the shower was great. Breakfast was really tasty and the Sky Lounge bar was spectacular and very trendy (though a little pricey). Would defnitely recommend a visit. In fact I`ll be staying here while i`m working in London over the next few months so look forward to sampling more of the food.

Clean, good food well staffed

We stayed here in April 2011. the hotel was easy to find. Five minutes from the tube. Staff were polite and welcoming. The room was spotless. We had two very good nights sleep, very quiet. the continental breakfast was superb, great choice and the staff were very attentive. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience.

Pleasant, modern, well-equipped room, with free Internet on iMac which doubles as TV. Excellent service, and good breakfast. Very convenient for tube.

Fantastic stay. Staff were peculiarly friendly for a central london hotel but long may it last.

The air conditioning didn`t work and it took 3 attempts, 1 room move and a bad night sleep to mend. I have previously had great stays but was less than impressed this time.

Couldn`t fault the hotel in any way. Quick check in, Excellent attentive staff, lovely modern rooms with the latest iMac which works as tv/ computer. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very clean through out the hotel, Would definitely return.

service was excellent. Only down point was room storage where anything longer than a day`s stay for two people and you were struggling. Sky lounge was a nice novelty (but £1.70 onto the price of the beer for it was expensive)Staff count on Friday, Sat and Sunday of our stay was really good. (almost too many people, although watching the staff each repeating the same job between them was quite funny)

We found the hotel well positioned ,the staff were excellent and could not do to much for us, the hotel being new was very modern and well equipt. Our room was pleasent and the shower was excellant. The "Sky Lounge" was our downfall, the views of London were as stated but even taking London prices into account the price of drinks were very very expensive. This just took the edge off an otherwise pleasent stay.

Ideal for central base, just around corner from tube station. Stunning `Skylounge` bar with floor to ceiling glass all around on top floor, with great views, so be prepared to pay extra£+ for drinks here. Reception staff were more than helpful, as were the morning breakfast staff. Ironically the Skylounge bar staff were the only ones we felt let the service down slightly, having to ask 3 different people for a menu for drinks/food before one materialised, and then waiting again fairly long time for our drinks, but this is my only real critism. Breakfast is pricey if paying separately, but ours was included in room price, and stated `continental` but turned out to include `full English` also on the day! Prob shouldn`t say but there`s a Wetherspoons just round corner if you want to benefit from a far cheaper evening drink!! bedroom well equipped with Apple Imac etc and everything you would expect from this standard of hotel. Bathroom was impecable.
