Have stayed in bigger standard rooms . ensuite shower room quite small for an executive room.breakfast was good hotel clean overall not bad value .

Lovely stay nice comfortable beds and clean room fairly compact. Good location for sightseeing and London west end. Breakfast average but we were happy for the price we paid for the room on bookings.com

Hotel was very nice. Good location. Requested they stopped filling the bar fridge with little plastic bottles of water, and installed shampoo/body wash dispensers in the showers instead of providing tiny plastic bottles of shampoo etc, in an effort to gradually eliminate the use of single use plastic. Had a lovely lasagna at 1am!

Very clean modern hotel

Very glad we booked the Doubletree Hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and staff excellent. It was everything we could have hoped for. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful

Breakfast was a let down no fried egg and all if the food was like it had been kept warm for ages hard and no taste. EXECUTIVE LOUNGE was disappointment only very little food in there and drink for a limited time 6pm 7.30pm which is not what it stated on the door. They wouldn`t even show football on the tv in there when England played on SUNDAY!!! this is LONDON ...CAPITAL OF ENGLAND.....I did not feel we had value for money

Lovely hotel very clean

Hotel personnel presented themselves well, were very efficient, attentive & professional.

Booking in was very easy room was spacious well equipped and spotless. Breakfast was very good big choice of food.

The Buffett breakfast is an excellent feast . The room was average in comfort, very hard mattress, soft pillows . No bath, shower only and there was a huge crack in the setting, where the sink was. I would describe the hotel as a `up market ` Travel Lodge or Premier Inn.

We have stayed here a few times and was just as good this time. On booking in I mentioned it was my mothers birthday and recieived drinks vouchers for the bar,a very nice touch.the bar was very lively with friendly staff.breakfast was also very good although a bit crowded at times to serve yourself at the food counter.

A nice city hotel. Rooms are OK size, bathrooms very small but adequate. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and contain everything expected of a 4 star. Staff friendly. We only ate the breakfast which had lots of choice and well made. Fresh hot items were constantly renewed. We were able to check into the room at 11am as it was ready. On departure, we were able to leave our baggage with the Concierge while we went out for the day. They were placed in a secure room and we were given tickets for collection later. This is a free service. We enjoyed our stay and I would return.

The room was good enough but as overpowered by the opposite building it was very dark .staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was excellent.

Generally a very good experience with good service in a very clean hotel.Having stayed at the hotel through its change of owners I can`t help feeling it is beginning to decline.For instance what was a superb breakfast is now just good. Rooms are beginning to look tired etc. Air con is very loud and plumbing can be rattling during the night.....Still a good hotel though and a safe choice with little potential for that what have I done here sort of moment.

Perfectly okay hotel but not my definition of 4 star. We had an "executive" room but the bathroom with shower only was tiny. There should have been a warning in the bathroom recommending "no cat swinging allowed". Also a bit remote from main attractions although it was easy to get a taxi outside the hotel which was a bonus.

The welcome we received was excellent, However we were let down by the housekeeping and we found the bar prices etc OTT.

Allocated queen room on the 2nd floor only to find builders looking in at us asked to be moved they moved us to the 8th floor we thought that might solve the problem but the noise in the morning woke us up don`t class this hotel as 4* rooms are small and basic probably equal to a travel lodge won`t book there again and if we knew there was a building site around us we definitely wouldn`t have booked there feel really let down by hotel direct you would have known this we always book through you very disappointed !!!

A comfortable and pleasant hotel in central London.

Every time I stay at this hotel it has a brand new feel to it. The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is well laid out and very comfortable with an excellent breakfast choice. The staff are friendly and helpful, I will definitely stay here again.

We needed to find somewhere quite quickly as we had to stop over in London, so we searched online and found the Doubletree by Hilton. It was exceptional value for money, i normally stop in 4 star or above and have to say the hotl staff could not do enough for us, room was large, spacious, breakfast was brilliant!!!

Hotel was very well situated, the staff extremely helpful, had a lovely stay.

The room was very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and ironing board which were useful.

Stayed here for 3 nights mid June. It`s very close to Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. The nearest tube station is pimlico which is about a 10 minute walk so it`s just as quick to walk to the sites. Unless you are here during the week, the local pubs are closed of a weekend in this area. Our room was on the 3rd floor, a double room. It was clean, standard size, nothing special. It had a safe that didn`t work and a fridge with nothing in it. The air conditioning was on the coolest setting the whole time and we were both still kicking the quilt off, not very good, glad we didn`t stay when it`s really warm. There is no TV in the rooms, just an iMac, great no problem except the screen isn`t very big especially when your watching the late World Cup games. We had breakfast included in our offer and I`m so glad we did. Really good choice and eat as much as you like and it was nice. Set us up perfectly for the busy day ahead. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a little of the beaten track so after getting of the tube be prepared for a complicated 20 minute walk if you`re lucky or face a £7 taxi ride, the hotel is very nice ,staff can`t do enough to help you and are very pleasant , bar prices reasonable and breakfast was excellent. My only disappointment was when I spent £247 on a room for three I did expect a room that was large enough to fit three beds in rather than a double bed with a very uncomfortable put me up bed which made the room very cramped and not really exceptable.
