Great site in the middle of everything. Efficient reception and front of house staff.Bedrooms not de-Luxe but real value for the price. Concierge most helpful and informed. Bedroom Doors a bit heavy to open and the card lock only gives you 5 seconds to get the door open. Room 507.Thanks for a great stay.
Room was comfortable although complimentary water and biscuits would have been appreciated, offered as standard in other hotels. Also we found restaurant service a little slow in particular afternoon tea when the restaurant was not busy.
The decor is really 1st class, the bedrooms were spotlessly clean and the furnishings were lovely. All of the staff at the hotel are curteous and polite and we had an extremely enjoyable stay. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.
One item I found irritating was the fact we were billed for drinks we never had. This was due to the touch system of the fridge, we moved some items to make room for water. So we were automatically billed.I felt this was an unnecessary use of staff time, a waste of resources ie paper nand envelopes thrown away.I thought we were all into conserving things. Please amend this waste.
Location to the West End on foot is good and there is a nearby tube station. The hotel is clean modern and the staff are very helpful. The room was a good size and comfortable giving a good nights rest!
A comfortable hotel, centrally placed for the Royal Opera House, managed by friendly, helpful staff who provide a very good service. The morning after the evening opera/ballet you are provided with a good breakfast that sets you up for the day. We shall definitely be using the hotel again.
Really good helpful staff good breakfast nice clean rooms
This hotel offers everything. Use it !!! We found it ticks every box. The staff are friendly and helpful. It feels like you have paid for 5 star service and you could not get a better location - it was fabulous. To sum this hotel up - It is quality at an affordable price! See for yourself - We couldn`t fault it - GO!!!!
A very good Hotel in an excellent setting within easy walking distance to Theatreland
Great location, good food and efficient service.
very friendly efficient staffthe decor is quite outdated howeverI found it most annoying that I was billed for two items in the bar fridge that I had touched but not removed. The staff at the reception desk promised to amend this. have to wait and see.
This hotel is in a fantastic location and within minutes of most of the theatres in the West end. It was clean, comfortable and quiet and the breakfast is very nice in the morning too. I would definately stay here again!
Good quality breakfast included in the price. Bathrooms could do with improvement - weak fixed overhead shower and a curtain rather than a screen didn`t impress. £38 for 2 glasses of white wine rather steep.
My only comment would be that if you are on the 7th floor during the hot weather the air conditioning units on the roof are very noisyI would definitely stay again but would request another floor The staff were excellent and we had the set meal in the restaurant which was the spatchcock chicken which was disappointing and a little too fussy being on the bone - I accept this is more a personal preference. The breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful
Room was clean and all facilities that you would expect to find were there. We had paid for breakfast which was hot and plentiful. There was a good choice and could help yourself to as much or as little as you wished. Rooms cleaned every morning all staff very polite would stay here again without hesitation
We actually got an upgrade to Westbury Hotel Mayfair so cant comment on Kingsway. But Westbury was very good, clean and newly refurbished. Only downside was that the drinks in bar of hotel were way too expensive....£ 13 for glass of wine.
The hotel was clean and well equipped. The rooms are beautiful and the staff very friendly. My only complaint would be that the bed was VERY firm. Breakfast was delicious and served until 11am so chance to sleep in. Good location for the theater
Great location , rooms spotless , fantastic value for money , will definately return and recommend .
lovely hotel ,but for a 4 star hotel we had to ask for tiolet roll to topped up soap and shampoo refreshed, and biscuits are not supplied with the tea and coffee. Poor show for a 4 star. That said its still a good hotel in a great location.
The hotel staff were really helpful and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Plus points excellent location, staff very helpful and friendly, clean hotel...negative points the charge for Internet in public area, extra charge if a cappuccino requested at breakfast, and a serving table was in front of the fire extinguisher in the restaurant between the two work stations the staff used, also felt tables very close together in restaurant not much privacy. . Would def come back though.
Room rather small but clean and adequate for our one night stay. Hotel very well presented and in excellent position for the theatres, Covent Garden etc. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was very enjoyable and service was very good. A pleasant experience.
Could do with updating television stations. Only 3 worked when we arrived but improved a little to 7 the following day which is still not very good. This was the only poor part of the hotel with staff polite at all times and breakfast good.
Ideal location, very clean and welcoming, excellent rooms and food. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone
We booked this hotel for my birthday and to attend the opera. We do this each year in London. The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. However, we did not have Molton Brown products in our room as described on the website. Neither did we have bottles of mineral water which is a given in other 4 star hotels we have stayed in.The Breakfast was seriously inadequate for the price of the room, worst breakfast we have ever had in a hotel supposedly of that status.
Friendly helpful staff lovely and clean lots of ammenites
Hotel very nice. Have been there before thought it nice then. Staff very attentive. Rooms very nice too.
Sandwhich`s with high tea were stale. Breakfast very hot and they had a great choice.
Good location.comfortable room.Good breakfast
