Stayed for 4 nights and both my wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very polite and helpful. A special mention for Housekeeping staff - an immaculate room when we arrived and the standard was maintained throughout our stay. Thank you all.

Good location very clean hotel with friendly staff

Stayed in hotel for 2 nights - poor quality .The breakfast food was at best , lukewarm - the staff seemed to have problems keeping the heaters lit. The bar service was terrible - we went when it was very quiet and told to sit at table and wait for waitress service - we waited fully 15 minutes and left because nobody came to serve us - only one person was serving who took ages to deal with 3 ladies amid talking to the bar manager who was not doing anything. The room was also noisy - we asked for a quiet room but were placed near the lift shaft - we only found out after day one but we were only staying for two nights. In summary , location is good but that`s about it!

The first thing I look for in a hotel is cleanliness. This hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly and the entrance smells exceptionally fragrant. I mention that because I have never noticed it in a hotel before. Only thing I would say is the bathrooms could do with updating. Apart from that it is a lovely hotel and transport was easy to access and close by.

Room is a little tired but was clean

Staff are all friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely lovely, even fish and chips at 00:15 in he morning was delicious!! had an issue with the TV that was fixed while we were out. 10/10

Rooms were comfortable and clean, there was an out of date issue with the milk but this was quickly resolved once the staff were made aware. Friendly staff and willing to assist.

Lifts need looking into

nice clean 4 star hotel. good food, clean rooms and spotless lounges, comfortable, friendly, helpful staff, happy to come and help, not hiding in corners. Would use again if in town.

Enjoyed our stay at the Copthorne Tara hotel, friendly staff in all departments, room was clean and all our needs were at hand.Food was very good, hot and all covered as it should be.First class, would recommend.Well done Copthorne Tara hotel.

This hotel had everything we needed and the staff were extremely helpful. The power shower was great and the room clean and comfortable. Location was brilliant for London attractions. Can`t wait to go again.

Really like the hotel with lovely staff. Such a shame this break was ruined by the seats at the show. Hotel stuff great.

We really enjoyed our stay (bed and breakfast) at the Copthorne, We had a very friendly welcome at reception and quickly booked in, The standard room was a good size but there were two problems. The first was that the room was exceptionally warm and made it uncomfortable to be in and also difficult to sleep. Despite adjustments the room remained too warm. Secondly the double bed was narrow.Overall though the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the hotel overall was clean and attractive.It was also only a few minutes walk to the tube station in High Street Kensington. The hotel was ideal for the 4 day stay.

The only comment we could make was the poor quality of the tea at breakfast, and the lack of and draught beer.(real ale) both very British qualities.Thankyou.

Location really handy. Lovely welcome from reception. Difficult to use stairs if you don`t like lifts. Room and bed comfortable and clean. Breakfast not so great (vacuum heated cups of tea/coffee and make your own toast is poor, too much emphasis on quantity not quality). All staff really friendly and all said "hello" when we were walking through hotel.

Staff are great. Food is very good but the walls between rooms are paper thin. Couple of ladies next to us but they may as well been sat on the bottom of the bed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Copthorne Tara. Unfortunately the first night was somewhat chilly as the heater wouldn`t work when we returned to sleep. However after making the staff aware, it was repaired during the day and was comfortable for our second night. The breakfast was very good with staff working hard to please the hotel guests

It was my birthday when I checked in there didn`t even offer anything complimentary and to worsen it they asked I should upgrade for 40 pounds if wanted which I did to treat myself only for them to send a letter to my room minutes later that I haven`t paid and to come down and meet the manager - I went down to speak with them with my proof of payment and my online bank statement to prove it is a pending transaction and they still didn`t believe it. Like seriously so they said I need to come back down the day of my check out to check it with finance team. I couldnt even access the executive lounge which came as part of the room upgrade so basically didn`t get value for money and also got embarrassed as if I didn`t pay my money and no compensation was provided either which made me leaving there with a bitter taste. This was the first time using them and it certainly the last time I will ever use them. I do not recommend Them.

Very nice clean and modern hotel with all the facilities one could wish for.

The hotel is very smart, clean and tidy. The room had everything you could need, iron and ironing board included. The breakfast was very nice and a good choice. I had a bit of everything. The staff very friendly and a lovely finishing touch, they left an enormous slice of cake and a card to wish my husband a happy birthday.

Nice hotel with very attentive staff. Yes slightly dated but very comfortable in all aspects. Breakfast had everything you would expect. Enjoyed my stay here. Would I return ? Yes I probably would.

Overall was OK with good staff attention. Need more milk for coffee. Heating system too loud thought I was at the end of runway at Heathrow. That been said would revisit if these were sorted.

Nice hotel . Room was spacious but somehow didn`t feel as though they had got everything under control. Paperwork says booking in from 2pm but at 2.45 were told there weren`t any rooms ready. Told our room had 2 separate beds but they would come and put them together for us which was fine. When we got to our room the bed was already put together and then someone knocked on the door to do the beds. The TV didn`t work but got sorted really quickly. When we went into the bar after our show the drinks took ages to come. Only 2 bar staff. Loads of waiters .At breakfast taken in for a table for 2 and then they couldn`t find one for us. I appreciate it was really busy and the breakfast was very nice although not very hot. As I said nice hotel but just seemed to be a little over whelmed

We had to queue 20 minutes before seeing a Receptionist to check-in. This is crazy. We experienced a similar delay when we last stayed with you. We will be looking elsewhere the next time we need a London hotel.

Queues for breakfast, busy lifts, lobby always very full , the hotel did its best to cope with a very busy weekend, but everything seemed very stretched. Staff always very helpful however, even under pressure.
