Stayed one night in a triple room. Clean and decent sized room. Helpful staff. Great location, 3 mins walk from Tottenham Court Rd tube station, Would definitely recommend for short break and would stay here again.
We found that the bedroom was to hot at night. Only at night because we needed to close the window because of the noise coming from the street below. During the day we had the window open and that kept the room cool enough.I can only see this as a negative and if air-conditioning was fitted then I could not fault your hotel.Thank you and your staff for a great weekend.
it took a while to get to the ground foor on check out day, but on the whole the hotel was friendly, fab location, the rooms are a bit small but adequate. I think it`s a bit mean charging to store bags, i have never been chargd for this service ever before.
Toilet stained (Room 548); no biscuits with complimentary drinks in room; no extractor fan in bathroom. Nevertheless, at a reasonable price for its location, St. Giles served us well. We needed a comfortable overnight stay after a theatre visit. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the staff courteous and helpful.
LIFTS NOT ADEQUATE DURING BUSY PERIODS
We were very impressed with our stay at this ideally located central London hotel and look forward to returning. The hot breakfast was cooked to perfection with not a hint of grease. It is refreshing to find a hotel so well staffed with staff who were more than ready to assist the residents. The restaurant options accommodate a wide taste of food and with a pool and gym at hand there is the opportunity to burn off some calories, if wished.
Excellent location, very clean and ovcerall good. I would stay there again for an overnight stay, however the room was a little compact especially for 3 beds.
Bedroom comfortable. Shampoo etc not replaced. Only difficulty was with very crowded breakfast time, but there were plenty of staff on hand to help
Really nice hotel, staff are very good. Basic rooms are small but fine for a base, we stayed in superior room which was lovely, we are going back again, great hotel great location great price
The St. Giles Hotel was in a good position for the London Theatres we visited. It was clean although our room was rather small. The staff were efficient and friendly. Accessing breakfast proved to be a little trying and there was a lack of toast, something most people enjoy. Attempting to get an elevator to and from the 11th floor, and other levels, was a nightmare at times and could drive you to using the stairs, if you could find them!! We would use the St Giles again.
Rooms good but fairly small and bathrooms a bit tired, but clean and adequate. Service excellent, location excellent, breakfast included and very good.I would recommend.
We chose the hotel for its central London location and reasonable cost of a double room and breakfast for one night. We didn`t know what to expect in terms of the standard of the room, but - although smallish - we found it was clean, modern and comfortable with TVs and tea/coffee making facilities + small fridge and saft. It was absolutely fine for our purposes. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel were able to arrange for flowers to be put in the room by using their local florist. There was also the concierge where we could leave our bags before and after our overnight stay.
It was our third visit, they never fail to please us, nice clean rooms, friendly staff, very good breakfast, great location, in walkinig distance to all attractions. Love it ! can`t wait for our next visit, hopefully later on in the year. If you have any special offers at the st Giles hotel please let me know.
Very central hotel which was very good but also very very busy, the lifts were a nightmare, continually waiting and very tiny especially when you have luggage to contend with. Breakfast was a nightmare, it was like a free for all and trying to get a seat proved difficult. The rooms are very tiny and the room we had smelt and was very warm...hence the rating i have given!!
Friendly even when very busy. Nice and clean (as expected). Lifts very busy.We would go back to stay again.
Overall a very nice hotel, however, there is a problem with the lifts which can take a long time to arrive and do not seem adequate to deal with the number of guests staying at the hotel.
All the staff that I met were very efficient & friendly. The two problems I had, safe and door key not working, were resolved very quickly. I was surprised at the very small size of room 152.Best wishes to all.
Very central, triple room much bigger then expected, this is fourth time at this hotel always clean throughout and friendly staff would recommend.
Not enough internet points. Would have liked a fried egg, toast and more fruit for breakfast.
the hotel is very convenient location close to the theatre, but find the rooms are very small and stuffy, lack of air flow and the fan is very noisy.
We got a night for two for just over £100. Excellent value for the centre of London right in the heart of the West end and near all the main sights. Super room with good facilities and they include a nice breakfast and also looked after our bags the day we left (allowing us more time to see things). Not flashy but very clean and pleasant.
Great position for touring and site seeing. Good value for money.
Was very impressed with friendly and helpfulness of staff. Room was clean albeit a bit small but as it was only for 1 night it was fine. Was good having seperater dressing area and the bathroom off of it and not directly onto bedroom.Breakfast was very scrummy and certainly plenty to choose from. Would definetly stay again. Good location and easy to get to - 15mins walk from Leicester Square.
Have stayed at this hotel many times , rooms basic but clean , a good buffet breakfast and friendly staff
No problems - just breakfast - they cleared the tables very quickly but didn`t wipe them over. No other complaints.
Hotel is very good value for its location - very convenient to Oxford St and theatres and would stay there again for that reason just a pity about bathrooms.
Your staff are very nice and caring they go out of thier way to help which gives you a good feeling. The breakfast is great and plenty to choose from. Your Hotel is centrally positioned and it was easy to find places and your staff were also helpful with directions. If we come to London again in the future we will definitely stay with you and will recommend you to others who will be coming to London. Thank you so Much. Mr and Mrs Wagstaff.
We were (supposedly) upgraded, thank goodness we were, the room was still small but adequate for a short stay. Breakfast included and good.
GOOD HOTEL, BUT BREAKFAST ARRANGEMENT COULD BE BETTER.
Just like to say stayed at the St Giles a few times now and it is a favourite very good value for money and always a good service. I rang before we came to say i was concerned that we could not book until 2pm as we were heading to a concert and wanted to get there for 2pm. I was told that if you had a room ready we could book in and sure enough our room was ready at 12.30.Thanks very good service.
The St Giles Hotel is in an excellent location for every thing we wanted to see and places to get to. The staff was very helpful, bedrooms clean but small. But, we weren`t in it long as there was too much to see. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety. Will certainly use the St Giles again.
