All of the 68 bedrooms at the Veneto are classic in style. Each room offers satellite television, direct dial telephone, fridge, complimentary toiletries and bathroom accessories. Breakfast is served in the hotel`s new ground floor restaurant. Guests of the hotel also have access to the hotels Spa and Fitness Centre. The fitness centre boasts all the latest gym equipment. The Spa comes fully equipped with Turkish baths, steam baths, emotional showers and relaxation areas. The fitness centre is complimentary for guests while use of the Spa facilities is charged at 25euros per person per day. The Advance Annexe Double is located in the Residencia Romanico which is next door to the main hotel. Guests staying in this room will be on a Room Only board basis and it will be a non-refundable booking.

Hotel and location:

Situated in the heart of Rome on the main thoroughfare of the Via Veneto, the newly upgraded 4* Veneto Hotel offers guests a perfect base from which to explore the varied sights of the city. The Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and Trevi Fountain are all within a 5 - 10 minute walk as is Rome`s main metro station Termini. The hotel`s namesake, the Via Veneto, presents guests with a veritable plethora of shopping and dining opportunities all of which are right on the doorstep. Please note: The Advance Annexe Double is located in the Residencia Romanico which is next door to the main hotel. Guests booking this room will be on a Room Only board basis and the reservation will be non-refundable.

Getting there:

FROM AIRPORT: There is an express train service every 30 minutes to Rome`s Termini train station (Journey time 30 minutes). A single ticket costs around 10 Euros. Take line A from Termini Underground / Metro in the direction of Battistini and alight either 2 stops later at Barberini Metro Stop or 3 stops at Piazza di Spagna or Spanish Steps. The Hotel Veneto is towards the top of Via Veneto, turn right just after the American Embassy (via Boncompagni) and Via Piemonte is about 100 metres along the road.
BY CAR: Arriving by car is possible. Nevertheless, because the hotel is situated in the city centre occasionally Via Veneto is closed to traffic in which case you will have to avoid the city centre and instead arrive from the other side i.e. Piazza Fiume. If you are arriving from the North we suggest you take the Via Salaria which terminates at the start of the city centre. Go directly through Piazza Fiume and take the second right Via Boncampagni (named after the Prince Boncompagni Ludovosi whose two surnames have been given to major roads in the Via Veneto area - his old estate is now the American Embassy located only 50 metres away) Take via Boncampagni and Via Piemonte is on your right, all the major streets in this area are named after Italy`s regions so if you see Via Toscana or Via Sardegna you know are pretty close.

City Tax: From 1st January 2011 the authorities in the City of Rome will levy a city tax of 3 euro per person per day which is payable at the hotel and not included in the above room rate.
